The two of them fought relentlessly with one another for over half an hour when finally they bothstopped in a spot to catch their breath.

Even though Liam was three levels higher than Rocky, now he was only a level ahead of Rocky onceRocky entered the state of Spirit Possession. Once this state was lifted, he would lose all his power which was fueled by the SpiritPossession. But his opponent, on the other hand, was more than capable of continuing the fightwith the same intensity.

It was clear now, Rocky had to defeat Liam before the state of Spirit Possession was lifted from him.Just then, Rocky once again lit the flame light and let it engulf his entire body while lunging at Liamrapidly with the Flaming Blade of Frozen Wind Dagger brandishing.

On seeing Rocky thrust himself forward, Liam braced himself not be careless and make any mistake.He gathered his spiritual power and was now prepared to fight back. As Rocky closed in, he raisedhis spiritual power and roared, "Taste the thunder and lightning!" The image of a gigantic knifeformed by a bolt of lightning reflected in the sky above, in an almost frightening manner, with hisgesture, moving forward right towards Rocky.

Rocky, too as a reflex movement, wielded the Flaming Blade of Frozen Wind Dagger, weaving anairtight curtain of Dagger Dome in front of him blocking him from harm's way. Both the mightyspiritual powers collided with each other once again. And all of a sudden, the entire sky was filledwith bright explosions which sparked like dazzling fireworks.

The sound of blast echoed.

In the end, Liam's attack seemed to be more overpoweringly stronger than Rocky's defense.Because of Liam's move, a bright light lit all around, and smoke arose within tens of meters makingeverything seem foggy. And owing to this Rocky's figure was completely blurred.

"Did I hit him?" Liam's face shone bright with optimism when he saw that his attack of spiritualmartial arts had defeated Rocky successfully.

And just as Liam was easing up, a palm-sized flame shadow shot from between the smoke suddenlyyet rapidly. It was wrapped around the lines of flame, swiftly and constantly rotating up. Themomentum it gained was extraordinary.

This shadow was yet another Spiritual Weapon of Rocky's, Dragon Flame Pearl!

In an instant, the Dragon Flame Pearl spun like a cyclone and rapidly made its way towards Liam.The lines of fire on it were just like the tail of a monster, which was full of power. The flame swept allaround, raising waves of dust and everything along with it.

Once Liam finally saw through the dust at Rocky's move, he immediately gathered his Thunderspiritual power and created a shield right in front of him. Seconds later, the Dragon Flame Pearlstruck the thunder shield fiercely, instantly the surrounding erupted out of the light of the flame.The entire scene was looked like a meteorite hit the ground, leaving behind chaos.

The two forces kept colliding without any interval. It was obvious that neither of them was going togive up their endeavor to defeat the other!

However, gradually the shield Liam created began to crack under the heavy power of the DragonFlame Pearl which too had started to weaken.

At that moment, a bright figure surrounded by flame light suddenly appeared. He jumped right upto the sky, waving the Flaming Blade in his hand.

Facing double the pressure from the Flaming Blade and Dragon Flame Pearl, the thunder shieldfinally broken and disappeared.

As soon as the shield broke, Liam started vomiting blood as he was evidently grievously injured.And now, the blade had finally closed in on Liam. It went straight down, leaving him with not aninch of space to hide and protect himself.

Just then, when all the hope had diminished, something surprising happened!

All of a sudden, a vine appeared right behind Liam and wrapped itself around his body withinseconds. The vine with one strong grip pulled him back fast enough for Liam to escape the FlamingBlade.

Right then the Flaming Blade fell onto the ground. A flash of flame light flashed across the spotwhere the weapon landed.

Rocky caught the Dragon Flame Pearl falling from the sky with one cold glance. At the same time helooked up and saw that it was the Timber spirit-manipulated beast who saved Liam with itsopportune stunt.

Not far away, Rubygon lay on the ground tending to its injured body. It clearly could not fight anymore.

Misfortune never came alone. Right then, Rocky could feel the strength in his body disappearswiftly. At the same time, a flame light too flew out of his body, and transformed into a beast'sshadow on the floor beside him.

Rocky was suddenly crippled with weakness and felt pangs of distress. He fell on one knee as hebegan panting like an animal. He realized his spiritual power was almost entirely exhausted and thiswas the side effect of Spirit Possession. At the same time, Uriah's condition too was no better thanRocky. Meanwhile, afuriously savage intent flashed in Liam's eyes, because he now realized that Rocky would be a bigthreat to the Timber Deity Empire if he escaped. And despite Mr. Mu possessed deep admirationand respect for him, Rocky was undeniably still an enemy. Now he had a clear cut chance to killRocky once and for all. And of course he, as a man of Timber Deity Empire, would grasp this chanceand kill him without a second's hesitation.

So, without wasting another second, Liam did not hesitate as he began gathering and raising hisspiritual power yet again. Almost instantly his right fist gathered a surge of spiritual power. For amoment, his right fist flashed bright with thunder and started to grow until it became a fearful ballof thunder.

"Try this!" Liam waved his right fist with all his might as it surged with growing power. The thunderball, which had grown a meter in diameter, barreled out and crashed into Rocky.

On the other hand, Rocky didn't even have the strength to defend himself from this attack. He justsat there numb with pain watching the powerful ball approaching and soon enveloping him

"Ah..." The next moment, Rocky felt paralyzed with pain. He was unable to move let alone react, andhe felt as if he had been electrocuted. The waves of pain coursing through his body made him feelhe was just a step away from death. He shuddered helplessly as he tried to bear it all.

"I can't die!" Rocky gritted his teeth, and opened his eyes wide, as he muttered to himself withpersistence, hatred, and anger.

He couldn't just die here after all that had happened. He could not give into the painfulcircumstance this way!

He needed more power to make it through.

Suddenly, Rocky felt something evil inside his body that wanted to tear out and come alive. His eyesturned bloodshot red with rage.

"Just reveal yourself and get free from me!"

All of a sudden, a voice commanded inside Rocky's head. The voice shook him like a bolt oflightning. An evil yet powerful spiritual power sprang out of his body, forming countless blackbeams. In the blink of an eye, the black beams swallowed up the thunder ball which had envelopedhim and was drowning him in pain. Just as it freed him from the thunder, the black beams wrappedhim entirely.

Meanwhile, in Iron Dino Legion, Sabina was leading the troops to resist various offensive strategies.Right now Iron Dino Legion was separated from the Black Dragon Legion. Suddenly, she felt astrong burning sensation in her chest. She stood frozen in a spot for a while, before she reached outto take out the Dragon Twined Wood, which was a close-fitting collection of her.

"Has Rocky been in an accident? Will he be fine?" Sabina recalled her master Marcia's warning fromthe moment before she left. Marcia asked her that she must remain on Rocky's side when DragonTwined Wood was in abnormal condition.
