Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master -
Chapter 487 The Philter Powder Aftermath
"Commander in Chief, he was right. Once Isis wakes up, there's ample time to discuss it. Thanks god, she’s fine. If Rocky has wronged her, it won't end well for him."
Sabina directed her furious, ice-cold gaze towards Rocky.
Hearing this, Lance released Rocky from his grip. "Take care of her," he said as he turned to Marinand Sabina. After voicing out his order, pure, boiling anger shot out from deep within his heart. Hewaved his sleeves as he came out of the cave. Isis was used to be a proud person. But this time, hefound her lying on the rocky ground, nearly naked. No one who dared to hurt her would be sparedfrom his wrath.
Seeing this, Rocky took Uriah and Rubygon into his Magic Spiritual Space.
Seeing Rocky open the Magic Spiritual Space with such ease baffled Lance.
"How did you break into the Heavenly Stage so quickly?
You've only been gone from camp for a few days!" asked Lance. 'If he didn't have any treasure tohelp him in cultivation, he certainly took the time to become a genius!’ thought Lance.
"It didn't take that long, to be honest,” Rocky answered. With nothing to hide, Rocky repliedcasually.
Lance couldn't help glancing at Rocky. He knew that Rocky was just at the eighth grade of theEarthly Stage.
In a short period, he advanced from that level to the Heavenly Stage. Lance couldn't help but beamazed at his progress.
Then Lance wondered, "How long has Rocky been hiding his strength?
It's unbelievable!"
Within the cave, an exhausted Isis was in a deep slumber. Marin and Sabina didn't intend to wakeher up. They quickly snatched up the clothes on the ground and proceeded to help her getchanged.
Upon lifting Isis’ clothes, they noticed something on her inner thighs. It was a dark red bloodstainAn enraged Marin rushed out of the cave.
As they were about to wrap up their conversation, Rocky and Lance overheard Marin screamingangrily from behind, "Rocky, you bastard!"
Turning on his heel, Rocky was met with a harsh slap across the face from Marin. He didn't respond, for he knew it was what he deserved.
"What happened to Isis, Marin?" Lance frowned at Marin's sudden yet violent mood swing.
"Isis has been... has been... sleeping with him." Marin stared at Rocky like a ferocious dog—baringand gnashing its teeth.
Anyone who saw the rage in her eyes wouldn't be surprised if she killed Rocky right then and there.Even with the few words that Marin shouted, Lance clearly knew what she implied. Lance'sexpression changed.
The now irate Commander in Chief's face was distorted in anger. Without warning, he swung hispalms and out came a huge wave of spiritual power that was ready to strike Rocky down.Instantly, he came up with a thousand ways to torture Rocky for taking advantage of Isis.
Likewise, Rocky's expression changed as he immediately gathered his own spiritual power—this one, black and red—to defend himself from Lance's first blow.
However, Lance's power was stronger than his. Rocky flew backward as Lance's spiritual powerstruck him.
He managed to stop after retreating more than ten meters.
Blood began to trickle from the corner of his mouth.
In spite of the attack, Rocky knew that Lance was being merciful on him—or else he wouldn't bestanding. He immediately surrendered himself to Lance before awaiting the final decision on hisfate.
"Marin," the Commander in Chief called out, "take him back to the camp. I'll deal with him once Isiswakes up.” Taking one more look at him, Lance felt greatly disappointed in Rocky.
He gave a snort of contempt before turning towards Marin's direction.
Startled at his sudden strike, Marin was afraid that Lance would have killed Rocky right then andthere. It would've been a piece of cake for Lance.
But fortunately, he regained his sense. Remembering what Rocky did to Isis, she ground her teethtightly.
Vexed and distraught, she would never forgive Rocky for it. A dull pain ravaged her heart. "You willpay for what you've done to her, * Marin thought to herself.
"Care to explain what happened?" Marin walked towards Rocky slowly with her cold, piercing eyes. She thought that he would've at least put up a good fight before being seized. Not even anexplanation for what he did escaped his lips.
"I told you. Once she wakes up, everything will be clear,” Rocky insisted.
He believed that he'd be fine once Isis woke up. Rocky anticipated that something similar wouldhappen eventually. He knew that he'd never get to clarify anything if Isis never woke up.
Explain? It wasn't that easy. This was Isis’ virginity and reputation. Her family and friends wouldnever believe a word he uttered.
Certainly, the first thing they'd ensure was that it'd be kept a secret. If word got out about whathappened, Isis’ reputation with the Crimson Dragon Army would be greatly affected.
"Humph! Consider yourself lucky that the Commander in Chief chose to spare your life.
Isis is your only hope now. If she wakes up and accuses you of any wrongdoing towards her, theCommander in Chief will slaughter you.” Marin bit her lips.
With a single glance and without uttering a single word, Rocky walked past Marin.
Marin immediately followed him as he left.
Of course, she wouldn't let him escape.
After a while, Marin and Rocky finally arrived at the Crimson Dragon Army's camp located outsidethe Deity Unicorn Valley.
Upon arriving, Marin led Rocky into an empty tent. She paid special attention to him
"Stay right here. Don't even think about escaping. Unless you want the Commander in Chief to replaceyou." Marin desperately wanted to figure out what happened between Rocky and her cousin.
Why was Rocky also in the Mount Clouds? More importantly, why did Rocky take Isis as his woman? He was clearly beneath her level.
If she never intended to have sex with him, Isis would've never allowed Rocky to lay a single fingeron her.
"By the way, where's Dunn?" Rocky appeared to remember something as he asked Marin."Commander Dunn? No idea," Marin replied, wondering why Rocky was all of a sudden interested inDunn's current whereabouts.
"You'd better go replace him. Check if he's still with the Crimson Dragon Army. Although I'm positivehe's left already,”
Rocky assured. He believed Dunn knew he had rescued Isis. If that was the case, then Dunn wasdefinitely worried about being exposed.
If he was in Dunn's shoes, he would've left the camp earlier.
"What are you talking about? Was he involved in Isis’ disappearance?" a confused Marin asked, seeking confirmation.
"You're wasting time by standing here asking questions. You should be making sure he doesn'tescape the camp. Go and replace him. Now!" Rocky casually lay down on a soft couch before closinghis eyes. This triggered Marin, whose expression had now become serious.
Annoyed with his attitude, Marin waved a fist in front of Rocky's face. She wanted nothing morethan to beat his arrogant face right then and there.
Not only was she furious at Rocky, but she was disappointed in him as well. Who knew he's turnedout to be an asshole who'd take advantage of Isis?
'How can Isis lead a future army with what's happened to her?’ Marin desperately thought toherself.
She left the tent with a face riddled with sadness and resent. She ordered a few soldiers to guardthe door.
She ordered them to not allow Rocky to leave. Any and all of his requests would be immediatelyrelayed to her by the soldiers.
Lance returned to the camp as well alongside Isis who was still in a coma. He commanded for amilitary doctor to examine her.
As Isis rested under the care of an old experienced military doctor, her tent was guarded by Lance,Marin, and Sabina.
The doctor was quite familiar with Isis’ normal health conditions since he often treated her.
Upon completing his examination, he stood up with a strange look on his face.
"How is she, doctor?” Lance quickly asked the doctor.
"Her pulse is quite odd. It appears she has been aroused by a lust inducing poison.
Moreover, the poison has hindered her spiritual powers circulation and blocked her meridians. Evenwith its release, the fire of lust has left her gravely injured.
She'll wake up in around two to three days and will need even more time to heal.
Don't worry too much, Commander in Chief. She'll be fine.” The doctor saluted them beforeexplaining the situation.
"She's been poisoned?” They were all confused. Who would poison Isis? She was always cautious ofthose she surrounded herself with.
However, they had yet to know the truth.
"Did Rocky poison and take advantage of her?" Lance asked himself and wondered.
"Rocky had no valid reason to do such a thing. It's more likely the siege is to blame for the SilverWind's injury. Rocky couldn't hurt Silver Wind like that by himself.
Its wounds were caused by the spiritual power from different sects," Sabina confirmed. Aside fromSilver Wind's wounds, Sabina was also concerned about Rocky's silence. It was all so complicated. If Rocky had anything to hide or did something wrong, he would've tried to escape. But he didn't.He came back to the camp with them instead.
"But why was he in the Mount Clouds? And..." Lance failed to finish his next sentence.
He trembled in anger and shouted, "I have to deal with Rocky right now.
Otherwise, all of our reputations will be ruined if this news spreads.” He left the tent swiftly.
Marin and Sabina looked at each other and knew for certain that Rocky was in deep trouble.
