At the next moment, Marin and Sabina were following Lance, who just reached outside Rocky's tent.The two guards on duty outside the tent were trembled at the sight of Lance's spectral look. Theybowed to him in a hurry, "Commander in Chief!"

"You may leave now." Lance waved his hand.

The two guards left in a hurry, as if they received a decree after years of waiting.

Lance then walked straight into the tent, in a rage as if he was going to kill his enemy in thebattlefield. However, both Marin and Sabina knew it wasn't the best thing to do. They looked ateach other for a while, and then hastened into the tent.

At the same time, Rocky who was cultivating in the tent suddenly sensed the strong aura of Lance.As he opened his eyes and stood up, he saw Lance walking into the tent and staring at him. As aresult, his pressure surged up.

"Haven't I told you? Everything would be clearer as the Deputy Commander in Chief wakes up. Andeven if I were to explain now, the Commander in Chief is not in a position to understand myexplanation, as he is too angry," Rocky responded calmly.

"Although Isis has been detoxified, it will take at least two to three days for her to wake up. But, Idon't want to wait anymore." Lance was always cautious. But he found it hard to tolerate that Rocky,who he had trusted the most, had indeed done such a vile thing to his daughter. So now, he wascurious to know what had happened between his daughter and Rocky. He wanted to know how hisdaughter was trapped in Mount Clouds and why Rocky was with her. He also wanted to know whyRocky had defied his daughter.

The very thought of it sent a chill down through Lance's spine. If Rocky had really intended to dothis, then Lance should have been the one who cherished a snake in his bosoms, making him unableto face his daughter. So he was in hope of getting rid of the matter as long as his daughter didn'twake up and trying to hide the secret forever. He wouldn't mind killing Rocky, but before that, hewanted to give him a chance to explain.

"Rocky, if you were not involved in this matter, or if you had any other reason for doing this, pleasedo explain it to the Commander in Chief right away. I believe that he would handle the matterjustly,” Sabina said to Rocky, her eyes becoming cold. It was her duty to protect Rocky, and ofcourse to keep him alive. But if Lance was serious about killing Rocky, then that really added up toSabina's dilemma. And with the strength Lance possessed, even if she had the courage to stop him,it would be impossible for her to cope with it. So she hoped if Rocky were to explain the situationclearly to Lance, then they could avoid a confrontation.

Actually, Marin had never believed about Rocky doing something like this, that too against hercousin. However, when she questioned Rocky, he didn't deny about his involvement. This added toher worry. But, she was still in hope about Rocky explaining it clearly. She also knew that, with thekind of person Lance was, after he made a decision, it would be impossible to revert it.

What it meant was, if Lance was determined to kill Rocky, then nobody could prevent it fromhappening, and she never wanted to see that.

Upon seeing this, Rocky knew that Lance was not joking. But he was in a dilemma at the moment,because if he were to admit that he had become a lover of Isis in order to save her, Lance wouldnever let him go. After all, the reputation of his daughter was very important. Besides, Isis was theDeputy Commander in Chief of Crimson Dragon Army and one of Three Great Generals’ daughter. Ifthis was known by others, Lance would lose his face as well.

But if he refused to admit it, he would be lying to himself. In the end, it would only result in makingthings more troublesome.

All this made pushed him into dilemma and made him unaware of what was to be done. Though hewas an honest and upright man, it was impossible for Lance to accept the fact that his daughter wasslept by him. It was basic human nature, especially for a man who loved his daughter dearly."Rocky, are you going to tell me or not?" Obviously, Lance was impatient. "Okay, I can explain. But I am making it clear that what I am about to tell is the actual truth. If youare not going to believe me, then I am left with no other options." Rocky quickly had a glance atLance and hesitated for a while before saying. Now, the only remaining option for them was toverify the situation. Even if Lance didn't believe what Rocky had said, he could delay theinvestigation till Isis woke up.

Just when Rocky was about to explain, a voice came up from outside the tent. "Commander in Chief,I have something to inform you.”

"Come in." Hearing this, Lance gestured.

A figure then walked in and it was the Frontline Commander, Tod.

"Commander, what's going on?" Lance asked with his darkened eyes.

"Commander in Chief, these two belonged to the Deputy Commander in Chief. A female guardfound it from her perfume bag. Due to the disappearance of the Deputy Commander in Chief, Ithought I should have them examined by you." Finishing his words, Tod immediately handed overtwo crumpled letters.

While handing over the two letters to Lance, he gave a strange look at Rocky.

At this time, Lance took over the two letters. He was in shock with his eyes widely opened. Then heshouted at Rocky at the next moment, "It seems you are the arch-criminal responsible for Isis’disappearance. It was you who lured her to the Mount Clouds on purpose. Now tell me what yourpurpose was for this."
