Knowing that Tasha would follow up, Rocky walked straight ahead without turning back and lookedup once in a while at the direction of the strange light.

Just then, two figures appeared from the mist and blocked the way. It was hazy, so Rocky couldn'tsee clearly.

Rocky took a close look at the two huge beast shadows and found that they were a male and afemale Heavenly Poisonous Manticore. Both of them were of the third grade of the four-star levelwhich were highly powerful.

Tasha was startled when she saw two four-star Heavenly Poisonous Manticores.

She seized Rocky's sleeve and shouted, "Run! We need to get out of here immediately.”

"Run? Why? Why should we run?" asked Rocky desperately. Rocky turned round and looked atTasha. He immediately opened the Magic Spiritual Space to summon Rubygon.

"Do you want to fight them? You want to die?" asked Tasha surprisingly. She was amazed by hisaction as it was impossible to fight them. Everyone knew how massively powerful these creatureswere. Tasha had heard stories about its power and was amazed by Rocky's guts.

"Stay here, don't run or I will really leave you alone if you get caught. I can't risk this," said Rocky.Then he commanded Uriah and Rubygon to join him. All three were fighting with the HeavenlyPoisonous Manticores at once. They had to use their best abilities to fight such powerful creature.If someone dared not to fight, he would be trapped in a hazardous situation as wild spirit-manipulated beasts wandered in the deep valley all the time.

When one was powerful enough, the best way was to attack and defend oneself. There was nochoice as it was a do or die situation.

Now Uriah had risen to the fourth grade of the four-star level and its power had increasedsignificantly along with Rocky and Rubygon. It wouldn't be too difficult to deal with two four-starHeavenly Poisonous Manticores.

Actually Rocky felt that they were lucky enough. If there was one more beast, it would have been anuncontrollable situation.

Rocky was smart to take the decision to attack these beasts with the support of Uriah and Rubygon.Their power all together was massive that there was hope to defeat the enemy creatures.

Tasha did not dare to run. She could only stand there like a still tree. Looking at Rocky and the twobeasts who were fighting with the two Heavenly Poisonous Manticores, she was unsettled andnervous. If Rocky, Uriah and Rubygon were not able to defeat the Heavenly Poisonous Manticores,she might not be able to see Erica any more. This thought brought a depressed expression on herlittle face. She regretted coming with Rocky to this valley.

The fight had lasted for an hour and Tasha was desperately wanting Rocky to win.

As Uriah's power increased significantly, the two Heavenly Poisonous Manticores could not do anydamage to them. The beasts were at a disadvantage in the long-term battle. Their power couldn'tmatch Uriah's extreme power. Meanwhile Uriah was becoming more fearless in fighting them. Itlaunched an air strike and sometimes came to fight at close quarters. The Heavenly PoisonousManticores were knocked back in a total mess. Uriah’'s power gave it extreme strength to deal withsuch erratic creatures.

Seeing that there was no chance of winning the battle, one of the Heavenly Poisonous Manticoresturned around suddenly and rushed towards Tasha who was standing not far away out of Rocky'snotice.

Tasha turned pale and was too frightened to react in that moment seeing the Heavenly PoisonousManticore rushing towards her. She froze and her eyes turned red in shock.

Rocky frowned and ran after the beast when he caught the sight. He wanted to save Tasha. Rockyhad great presence of mind in such situations.

He rushed towards Tasha at that instant and wanted to avenge the beast.

At this moment, the Heavenly Poisonous Manticore swung its long scorpion tail violently. It flashedits sharp edged tail and tried to instantly attack Tasha.

Tasha was totally in shock and was unable to hide. She couldn't do anything as she was shocked byits rage and size.

Seeing that Tasha was in danger, Rocky rushed forward and covered her with his muscular body. Heheld her with one hand and waved the Frozen Wind Dagger with the other trying to block theattack.

But it was one step slower, the sharp scorpion tail just swept over Rocky's left shoulder in a flashand he started to bleed.

Rocky felt that his left shoulder was numb and a strong poison had been induced in his body alongwith the bleeding arm. He gradually became unconscious.

Seeing that it had succeeded the sneak attack, the Heavenly Poisonous Manticore let out a smugroar. Then it took advantage of the victory to spring at Rocky and Tasha

At that instant

A fireball encircled with Evil Flame shot down from the sky. It looked like a crimson globe of magic.The Heavenly Poisonous Manticore was hit right on the face. It let out a painful how! and rolled onthe ground and could barely be steady on its feet. The Manticore was badly hurt and continued toroar.

Then Uriah soared up to the sky, covered Rocky and roared angrily at the Heavenly PoisonousManticore. As its momentum grew the Heavenly Poisonous Manticore immediately let out a strangescream and fled away with the other Heavenly Poisonous Manticore in an instant.

"Are...... Are you okay? Oh my god! You are bleeding heavily," said Tasha nervously.

She couldn't look at Rocky's blood drenched arm anymore. She felt sorry for Rocky thinking thatRocky had to suffer as he decided to protect her. Rocky was a brave soul and knew how to handlehardships. But it still hit her hard. It was the second time Rocky saved her.

Although she hated Rocky's guts, Tasha was always moved to see that Rocky saved her regardless ofthe danger without hesitation. She admired Rocky and found him to be a selfless person.

"I won't die," said Rocky. He glanced at Tasha and gave a comfort smile to console her. Then Rockytook out a bottle of magical saliva and gulped a drop.

The spiritual power quickly circulated in his body and pushed the poison out of his left shoulder.Fortunately he was treated in time. There was nothing serious as the magical saliva was a powerfulhealing solution.

At this time a little hand suddenly took out a handkerchief and put it in front of Rocky's left arm.The handkerchief was carefully wrapped up Rocky's wound and ended with a beautiful bow knot.Tasha tried to do her best in that situation. She had a kind heart and wanted to be of some help."It turns out that you appreciate my kindness. Thank god, I didn't save you in vain," said Rocky witha smirk.

However when Tasha saw the smile, her face turned red immediately. She turned back at once,trying to cover the situation.

"You are not as bad as you look like. You are kind. But sometimes you are grumpy!" said Tasha byturning towards Rocky. She spoke her mind out and was extremely thankful for what he had done."Oh! Really? Ahhh...I can't accept this," said Rocky with a smirk.

He loved taunting Tasha and playing games with her mind. "I saved you because you are animportant chip of mine. If you die, all my previous efforts would be in vain!" taunted Rocky. Heraised his eyebrows and showed a cunning shrewd.

"Humph! I know it!" said Tasha hearing his reply.

"Let's go. The longer we stay here the more dangerous it will get. We need to rush,” said Rocky witha serious face.

Tasha stood up immediately.

Rocky let Uriah and Rubygon lead the way and told Tasha to follow them closely. They continued topass through the horribly withered dark forest. It was pitch dark that they couldn't see clearly. Thedestination seemed to be far away.

The whole valley was shrouded in mist and they didn't know the time. They just felt that the lightwent dim. But in the position of the strange light, the sea-blue light was getting more dazzling andlightening the foggy sky.

The strange light was beaming closer and more corpses were witnessed including bodies of wildspirit-manipulated beasts as well as spirit manipulators and their spirit-manipulated beasts. All ofthem died miserably. As Tasha had never seen such a bloody scene like this before, she clung toRocky's body with one hand seizing his sleeve to get a sense of safety. She was extremely scaredseeing such a deadly scene.

"Almost there. Don't worry,” said Rocky. He wanted to comfort Tasha. After going through a heap ofmessy stones, Rocky looked up and saw that the strange light not far away had become quite clear.
