"I've told you that he is a coward. At least now you believe me." Flank, who was one of theCommanders, took the opportunity to sneer against Rocky.

"Commander Zhao, have you forgotten the lesson I had taught you the last time?" Upon hearingthis, Rocky turned his head and looked coldly towards Flank who was standing by his side.

Flank felt a chill running down his spine as he trembled. He immediately looked petrified and evendidn't dare to look straight at Rocky.

After giving a glance at Flank for a second, Rocky turned back and continued to walk forward.

At the moment, everyone was staring at Rocky. They were quite surprised as they were not able tounderstand Rocky's act. Even if he didn't want to take control over the defenders of Evian City, whatsurprised everyone was that, at least he should have taken the Crimson Dragon Token. After all, theCrimson Dragon Token was not something ordinary people could even think of having it tothemselves. And if anybody had the Crimson Dragon Token in their possession, he would becomeone of the most powerful men in the country. But this precious opportunity was disdained by Rocky,which was hard for people to imagine.

"Stop, Rocky!" All of a sudden, Marin rushed towards Rocky and shouted angrily.

Even though Rocky heard Marin, he didn't stop, but continued to move forward. When Marinstretched out her arms in front of him to stop him, she glared at him. "Why didn’t you take overcontrol of the defenders of Evian City?"

"Commander Marin, didn't you understand what I just said?" Rocky responded with a darkened face.Marin was somebody who was really hard to deal with. It didn't matter whatever he had expected,Marin would always outdo all his thoughts. Predicting her seemed to be harder than he hadimagined. It was obvious that Marin actually wanted him to take over the army and guard Evian Cityfor the Crimson Dragon Group.

"I don't understand, I just don't understand what you are doing.” Marin shook her head in disbeliefand then continued, "Can you tell me the reason for turning it down?"

"No reason," answered Rocky. He just didn't want to get involved in any trouble. Ever since whathad happened to Isis, Rocky realized that he shouldn't be really that ruthless to her and should havenever used her to achieve his purpose. He didn't want anyone to be hurt or to get involved becauseof him. This had already happened once and he didn't want to repeat it. However, if he continued tointerfere in the war between the Crimson Dragon Army and the Timber Deity Empire, this kind ofincidents might happen again at any time. Therefore, the only thing he needed to do was to keepaway from interfering.

"Do you still care about your relegation by the Commander in Chief?" Marin asked as she wasunsure about what was on his mind.

"Not at all. I enjoy my freedom now. I would even like to thank him,” Rocky replied, shrugging hisshoulders.

"You must be lying. I know for certain that earlier in the past, you would have definitely takencontrol over the army.” Marin believed that, because Rocky was still angry, he didn't take overcontrol of the army to defend Evian City.

"Lady, you're so annoying. I don't want to say it again. Don't ever think that you know me wellenough. In fact, you don't understand me at all!" Rocky said coldly, squinting at her. Then he turnedaround and got ready to leave.

"You bastard..." All of a sudden, Marin reached out her hand and attempted to slap Rocky in theface.

Everyone was stunned by what they saw, and it was like if the woman had heartbreak. In fact,although Rocky did not accept the proposal, it was his own personal choice and nobody could forcehim. Therefore, people were confused why Marin was so angry.

Of course, the people present did not know that the reason for Marin's anger was due to herthought that Rocky was an irresponsible man and that he had let her down completely. She felt thatshe was stupid and naive to fall in love with such a cold and ruthless man.

However, Rocky stopped Marin's hand without even blinking. His eyes were cold, and he was also alittle angry because of Marin's action. "Don’t make trouble out of nothing, or I can be very rude,” hewarned her.

Marin seemed to have been startled by Rocky's horrible look. She was quite amazed and stoodunmoved, because it was the first time she had seen him looking at her like this.

Rocky then released Marin's hand and left without looking back.

All of a sudden, there was a loud thud. As the people turned their heads they could see Uriah'sappearance and it was following up closely behind Rocky. Even if the Commanders had seen Uriahbefore, they were shocked by its powerful appearance after transformation.

Uriah had undergone a transformation in the previous competition, which was witnessed by all theCommanders. However, it hadn't been long since Uriah's advancement into the next star. Now ithad become a four-star spirit-manipulated beast. Such an astonishing change was justunimaginable to them.

More importantly, Uriah had fully displayed the characteristics of a spiritual beast now. Therefore,even people who were completely unaware about it could tell that Uriah was indeed a rare spiritualbeast. And having a spiritual beast with such amazing talents naturally made everyone jealous ofRocky.

Soon, Rocky and Uriah went down the wall and disappeared at once.

Seeing that Rocky had left, Sabina frowned but didn't say anything. After sending Duchess Silverback to the Magic Spiritual Space, she walked up to Marin and whispered, "I'll certainly try topersuade him again, but don't get your hopes too high.”

"Sabina..." Marin bit her lips. Though she was very disappointed with Rocky, she also hoped Rockywould change his mind. She was quite torn about it.

After nodding to Marin, Sabina left under the watchful eyes of the people around.

After Rocky and Sabina had left, all the Commanders on the city wall sighed with despair with theirfaces turning deathly pale. Now that their hopes for the future were shattered, it was impossible toguard this city.

"What can we do now?" Commander Wang sighed deeply. Looking at the Crimson Dragon Token inhis hand, he felt it was merely like a hot potato.

All the Commanders looked at each other, completely speechless.

On the other side, when Sabina climbed down the city wall and caught up with Rocky, she observedthat he was still expressionless. Sabina was silent for a moment and then she asked, "Are you reallynot going to help the Crimson Dragon Group to get out of this crisis?"

"You have heard what I just said, right?" Rocky turned to have a glance at Sabina and then answeredcoldly.

"But I'm afraid Evian City would get captured tomorrow..." Sabina clearly understood that with theircurrent strength, it would be impossible for the Crimson Dragon Group to be a match against theTimber Deity Empire, not to mention that they even didn't have a leader.

"There is a huge military disparity between two armies, and I'm not confident about guarding thecity. I don't want to do any of these sorts of things any longer. I don't want to get involved in thebattle between the Crimson Dragon Army and the Timber Deity Empire any more. Since the city isgoing to get captured tomorrow, I would be leaving Evian City with Sue tonight,” Rocky repliedplainly.
