Noticing that Rocky had already made up his mind, Sabina didn't know what to say, so she just kepther mouth shut.

Meanwhile, the moon shone bright along with the sweet cold wind.

Together, they walked along the quiet and somewhat chaotic street as they headed for the basecamp of the Crimson Dragon Group. Back in the Evian City, everything was quiet, dark, and full ofhorror. There were even some people who rushed towards the north gate in panic.

Upon their arrival at the base camp, they noticed that there weren't any guards watching the door.It could be because almost all of the soldiers of the base camp had already been sent to the southgate to defend against the Timber Deity Empire's attacks.

On the other hand, as Rocky entered the base camp, he immediately made his way to the IsisPavilion.

"Sue! Sue!" Rocky shouted for several times as he walked into the courtyard in front of the IsisPavilion, as if looking for the person.

But no matter how many times he tried, there was still no answer.

Dismayed, Rocky frowned and went straight to the Isis Pavilion. He searched every corner, but neverfound Sue. Therefore, he just had to get out and look for her some more.

Seeing that Rocky was upset, Sabina could not help but ask, "Aren't you looking for someone?""Yeah, but I can't seem to replace her. Where did Sue go?" Rocky replied worriedly.

"Could it be that she has already left?" Sabina responded, after thinking for a while.

"Knowing her, I don't think so." Although Rocky was still unsure, he still believed that Sue wouldnever leave all by herself. Last time he came to the base camp, he explicitly asked Sheridan to takecare of Sue in his absence, which was why he thought that Sue might be with Sheridan at themoment.

With this in mind, Rocky immediately rushed towards the base camp's beast farm.

'I have never seen this guy get worried about someone so much. Who is Sue and why is she soimportant to him? Who the hell is she?" Sabina thought to herself. She gave him a cold look aftershe saw him leave without saying a single word.

It was not long before Rocky showed up at the entrance of the beast farm.

"Sheridan!" Rocky shouted at the top of his lungs just as he set foot in the beast farm.

"You brat! Keep your voice down for I can hear you. I'm not deaf!" Just then, an old figure came outof a beast stable, yawning. He looked drunk with his messy hair, as it was his normal state.

"Why do you still drink even at this critical moment? Have you seen Sue anywhere? I went to the IsisPavilion and she was not there..." Rocky said directly, right after he rolled his eyes at the seeminglydrunk Sheridan.

"Brat, you always care about Sue and no one else. I've never even seen you care about me! I'm yourteacher, you brat..." Sheridan cracked, a little drunk. Then, he quickly noticed Sabina, who just stoodbehind Rocky. Surprised at Sabina's aura at the Supernal Stage, he could not help but shout, "Hey,brat! I never thought you would replace such a beautiful and powerful woman..."

"I'm Sabina Ji. It's nice to meet you, Master Xu." Upon hearing Sheridan say that he was Rocky'steacher, Sabina instantly knew the one and only “Sheridan’, the famous beast tamer of the WildSpirit Land. Although Sheridan didn't look like much of a respected master, he was regarded as afamous person in the entirety of the Holy Dragon Empire. Hence, Sabina showed the utmost respectand politeness upon greeting him.

"Well, I'm not a master. I'm just an administrator. Your surname is Ji. If I'm not mistaken, then youmust be a member of the Ji Clan, right?" Although Sheridan had been ignorant of worldly affairs formany years, he immediately guessed Sabina's identity right after learning of her surname.

"Well, you are not mistaken. However, I am not a part of the Ji Clan anymore,” Sabina answeredcoldly, shaking her head and frowning upon hearing Sheridan's words.

Noticing that Sabina had some secrets that she wanted to keep all to herself, Sheridan did notbother, nor ask her any more questions.

"Sheridan, stop talking nonsense. Focus! The Evian City is about to be destroyed very soon. I thinkyou'd better replace a hole where you can hide. But before anything else, you should at least tell mewhere Sue is," Rocky asked seriously. But Sheridan was all too relaxed at that moment, without asingle panic on his face. Seeing him like this, Rocky guessed that Sheridan must know where Suereally was.

"You brat, address me as your “Master first. After that, then maybe I'd remember where she is,"Sheridan asserted as he deliberately made Rocky worried.

Staying behind Rocky, Sabina was stunned after she overheard what they were talking about. In hermind, she found it odd that they did not have the usual master-disciple relationship, but they ratheracted as if they were enemies.

"Has the city been conquered so soon? I thought that it would last for at least two or three moredays. I can't believe that the members of the Crimson Dragon Group are really useless... * Sheridan,in his drunken stupor, scolded. Then, he shouted at the house nearby, "Sue! Come out of there,quickly. Mr. Bai is looking for you. If you don't come out, he will forcibly remove my beard..."

Then, a few moments later, a delicate figure hurriedly out from the house. She saw Rocky waitingoutside. There was an undeniable tinge of delight on her worried and panicked face. But Rocky was quick on his toes as he dashed forward to Sue, saving her from falling.

"Mr. Bai..." While Rocky was holding her in his warm arms, Sue's body trembled in shock. She couldnot help but look up to see Rocky's face.

"There's nothing to worry about anymore. I'm here,” Rocky whispered as he comforted her.

"I'm not afraid. I'm just worried about you," Sue said in a low voice as she shook her head.

"Hal You silly girl..." Rocky said as he gently brushed Sue's long and silky hair.

Meanwhile, Sabina, who was just watching everything unravel right before her eyes, found Rocky'stenderness as he was so nice to Sue. After all, her surprise was very valid for she had never seenRocky act like that before. Itching to know who Sue was, she found out that Sue was just a niceyoung girl. Although she appeared to have such a close relationship with Rocky, she knew that Suewas not a threat. In fact, it could be that she and Rocky were just best friends, or maybe even likesiblings looking after each other.

"I just have to tell you that the Evian City is very dangerous now, so I'll take you out of the city assoon as possible,” Rocky said to Sue with a serious look on his face

"Leave the Evian City?" Sue asked as she was stunned by Rocky's words.

In response, Rocky nodded

"But I don't want to leave this place..." Sue said as she raised her head after hesitating for a shortwhile.

"But I have no other way around this. The Evian City is going to be invaded soon, which is why youmust leave this place immediately,” Rocky responded.

"You are very powerful, aren't you? If you are, then why can't you protect the Evian City?" Sue askedwith a bit of expectation in her voice. She had heard a lot about Rocky's achievements during thisperiod of time. Whenever the Crimson Dragon Army was in deep crisis, the crisis would be easilysolved as long as Rocky appeared to help them. That was why she believed that as long as Rockywas there, there must be a way to protect the Evian City.
