Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master -
Chapter 598 Coming To An End
Liam had almost used up most of his spiritual power after fighting for quite a while, and whatconfused him the most was that Rocky's power, on the other hand, seemed to increase. However, hehad no choice but to continue. If he let Rocky see he had weakened, it could mean his defeat. Thus,he still fought with all of his strength. Suddenly Liam felt a strong, evil force gushing over him justas he laid his fingers on Rocky. The evil force covered his whole body, as if a ghoul enveloped him.'How could that be possible?’ Liam couldn't comprehend how Rocky was able to conjure this muchstrength, and even a new kind of power at this time.
"Fire Dragon!" Rocky shouted, then widely opened his glowing eyes. Soon, the Evil Flame inside hisbody surged, and scattered with a flash of light radiating in all directions. He suddenly shape-shiftedfrom human into a huge black flame dragon, rushing to swallow Liam
Then a flame light rose abruptly into the sky from the ground, and there appeared a dragon roarwhich shook the whole ground!
"Ah!" a man screamed. Just then, a shadow of a black body was thrown out, dashing against aboulder. The impact shattered the boulder into pieces. It was Liam.
"Is Rocky..." Sabina was taken aback by the scene. It was not the first time that she encountered sucha situation, but it was indeed the first time that she saw Rocky control such unmanageable power. This meant that Rocky was starting to learn how to take control of the supernatural power inside hisbody.
What Sabina didn't know was that currently, Rocky had only mastered the second grade of thesupernatural power, which was still evil. There were seven grades of supernatural power sealedinside Rocky's body. So the current power Sabina saw was just at the initial level.
Seeing Liam's failure, Woods was so surprised that he felt blood drain from his face. As Woodsstared blankly into the battle happening before his eyes, Rocky moved quickly like a flash of light infront of him, standing straight with a determined look. He was startled to realize Rocky was so closeto him, but he could not move a muscle.
The next moment, Rocky wielded his Frozen Wind Dagger towards Woods. He could feel theFlaming Blade against his skin, almost cutting his throat.
Rocky was going to kill Woods! The commanders and soldiers of the Timber Deity Empire, who werebusy fighting with the Evian City guards, were all shocked. They stopped their own fight and rushedto stop Rocky. Woods' three Heavenly Stage masters did the same. But it was too late.
There was no time. The blade was on Woods' throat. One swift movement, and it would be over. There was no saving him.
"Wait!" A purple shadow of a dragon swooped down from the sky, then shifted into a charming andintimidating man. He raised a blue water column full of spiritual power. The water column wasgathered around the place where Rocky's Flaming Blade fell. He controlled it to change into a watershield to drag away the blade.
Rocky squinted his eyes in anger as he thought that it was a helper from the Timber Deity Empire. He then waved the Frozen Wind Dagger, turned it over and stabbed towards the person who justappeared. In a twinkling, the Moon Blade was overlapping the secret figure.
Nevertheless, this figure kept his feet on the ground and stretched out one of his hands. Layers ofblue mist rose and wrapped the hand. Then the hand grabbed the Frozen Wind Dagger with onlytwo fingers pinching the blade.
Rocky was stupefied. He knew that the only one who could catch his Frozen Wind Dagger bare-handed was definitely not an ordinary warrior of the Heavenly Stage. Because of this fact, he waseager to replace out who the person was right in front of him. It was a man probably in his thirties, withdashing eyebrows. He looked tall and straight, with sharp features. He was definitely a master whoreached the Supernal Stage. Everything about him screamed extraordinary. After taking a closerlook at the person, Rocky was dazed after noticing that there was a trimming of the CrimsonDragon Group mark on his clothes.
"What a great Spiritual Weapon! Yet wrongly used...” said the man with his eyebrows raised, as hestared at the Frozen Wind Dagger in Rocky's hand
"Who are you?" Rocky asked. Thinking that the man might be a part of the Crimson Dragon Group,Rocky took back his Frozen Wind Dagger after striking a look at Woods.
"My name is Allen Ji," the man answered submissively with his hands cupped before his chest.
After the man spoke out his own name, Sabina gasped in astonishment.
"Never heard of it." Rocky was not lying. He had never heard of this name before.
"Ha-ha... I guess you must be Rocky. The Commander in Chief had mentioned you to me,” Allen saidwith a laugh.
Rocky nodded and looked Allen from down up. He had never met a master from the CrimsonDragon Group who had achieved such a high level as the Supernal Stage. So he was pretty sure thatthis man must be one of the spirit manipulators who belonged to the Elite Regiment of the CrimsonDragon Group. Moreover, even the master named Sheehan was just at the eighth grade of theHeavenly Stage. The man in front of Rocky had reached the Supernal Stage. So to speak, this manwas a big shot in the Elite Regiment.
"So are you..." said Rocky with curiosity.
"Let's get to that later.” Allen waved his hand and interrupted Rocky's question. He turned his backfrom Rocky to face Woods and asked, "You must be the prince of the Timber Deity Empire?"
"Yes, exactly.” Woods nodded, standing firmly.
"Your Royal Highness, please, take your people and leave the Evian City as soon as possible." Woodsfelt a constriction in his chest from Allen's imposing tone when he was speaking.
Woods was taken aback by Allen's unwelcomed arrogance. Although he knew that a man like Allenwas surely a somebody who had much power, he couldn't just turn around to leave when victorywas this close.
"I have to take over the Evian City. When all is done, then I will leave,” Woods answered in a fixedtone, trying to remain calm.
"Your Royal Highness, it appears to me that you don't understand what I mean. You don't think I'mhere all alone, do you?" Allen laughed loudly, but soon changed into a serious face. He continued,"Your two thousand soldiers outside the headquarters have been surrounded by the reinforcementsI brought.”
"What?" Woods was terrified. He felt as though his chest was hit by a wall and he couldn't catch hisbreath. If what Allen just said was true, that meant he had already lost the war for the Timber DeityEmpire. The reinforcements came earlier than expected. Was it because Lance had planned it inadvance?
"You thought that you could easily take the Evian City down just by stopping the Commander inChief from getting back? How silly! You have no idea what we Elite Regiment can do and just howfar we can reach," he sneered, with his hands behind his back.
"Did you just say Elite Regiment? So you are..." Elite Regiment? The two words took Woods bysurprise that he froze a moment.
"I am the head of the Elite Regiment,” Allen introduced himself, confirming the assumption Woodshad.
Everyone on site was all surprised, just like Woods did, to hear what Allen said. Very few people hadseen the face of the head of the Elite Regiment, not even the commanders of the Crimson DragonArmy. For most, this figure was just like a character in the myth. What they didn't expect was thatsuch kind of legend would show his face at this critical moment.
Also, why did the head of the Elite Regiment stop Rocky from killing Woods? That didn't make senseat all!
Now, Woods knew who the man was. He was so terrified, and his face was white as a sheet. Therewas no chance for them to win this war since the reinforcements of the Crimson Dragon Groupmade it earlier than expected. There was nothing they could do to change the situation.
"Withdraw your army now, or your casualties will increase,” Allen said with a stern look.
"All attention! Retreat!" Woods had to make this order as he realized it was all over, even though hewas reluctant to admit it. He gave Rocky a glimpse, and said, "We will meet again someday!" Thenhe left with the rest of his army.
"Why did you not let me finish him off?" Rocky turned to Allen and asked, seeing Woods and hisarmy leaving the camp from the corner of his eye.
