Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master
Chapter 599 That Guy

"He is the prince of the Timber Deity Empire! If he was killed, there would be dire consequences. Itwould be difficult to avoid war between the two countries. You did it because you had no choice. Now that the reinforcements have come, we don't have to kill him," Allen responded calmly.

Rocky didn't respond. Instead, he put away the Frozen Wind Dagger and summoned Uriah. Heimmediately mounted Uriah and galloped away in a huff, feeling the stares of the crowd as he left.As Rocky left, Allen suddenly noticed that Sabina was standing nearby. At a loss for words, he staredat her in shock.

Noticing Allen's gaze, Sabina abruptly looked away unfeelingly and started in Rocky's direction."Sabina..." Allen tried to reach out to her.

However, Sabina didn't stop. Setting her eyes on Rocky's diminishing figure in the distance, shevanished in the blink of an eye.

"Sabina!" Allen immediately followed suit, vanishing into thin air.

After the three had abruptly left, a silence fell over the site. The commanders and a few Evian Citytroops stood wordlessly, not knowing what to do.

Sabina, who had left the training ground to chase after Rocky, was suddenly stopped by a shadowthat suddenly appeared in front of her.

"Don’t you recognize me? I'm your uncle!” Allen exclaimed.

It turned out that, the head of the Elite Regiment was the younger brother of the master of the JiClan— Sabina's father.

"I am not a member of the Ji Clan anymore,” Sabina responded coldly.

"Why do you say that? Your father has already..." Before Allen could finish, Sabina snortedincredulously. "'Father'? What father? I don't have a father.”

"Sabina." Allen's eyes were suddenly stern. He raised his hand in anger, about to strike the haughtygirl, but immediately stopped when he noticed the look in her eyes.

"If you promise you won't mention him, I will still call you “uncle'," Sabina said with cold eyes.

This seemed to appease him somewhat. "After all these years, how have you been? I heard that youhave already become an apprentice of General Marcia, and have even reached the Supernal Stage!"Allen smiled slightly. He cared deeply about his niece.

Sabina didn't answer him. Silently, she nodded.

"The Commander in Chief told me that you joined the Crimson Dragon Group. At first, I thought hewas lying. I didn't expect that you..." he trailed off. "But aren't you supposed to be with the RimeGroup? Why did you join the Crimson Dragon Group? The Commander in Chief mentioned it havingsomething to do with that guy...” Allen shook his head in confusion.

"You are asking too many questions." Sabina couldn't hide her impatience.

"Okay, okay, I won't ask any more,” Allen promised with a wave of his hand.

"Are you here to answer the call of the Commander in Chief?" Sabina asked after a moment ofsilence.

"Yes," he answered. "Three days ago, when I was still in the Roaring Flame Empire, I suddenlyreceived an urgent summon from him. He said Evian City was in danger, and asked me to come tohis aid. So I came immediately,” he explained as a matter of fact.

"Fortunately, you arrived in time. I'd hate to imagine what would've happened if you didn't..." Sabinatrailed off ominously.

"Actually, I thought I was too late as I entered the city,” Allen recalled. "But I didn't expect you couldstill fight until now!" He couldn't help but show a little surprise.

"Thanks to that guy,” Sabina muttered under her breath, a faint smile playing on her delicate lips.

It was the first time for Allen to see such a smile on Sabina's face.

"Is “that guy’ Rocky? He indeed seems to be a little special. Also, his aura is quite strange.” Allenrecalled the peculiar feeling he sensed when he blocked Rocky's sword.

"It's not just strange," Sabina said defensively, immediately returning to her cold disposition.

"You should go back home when you replace the time. Let bygones be bygones,” Allen said after amoment of hesitation.

Upon hearing this, Sabina's heart hardened.

"I will never forget what they did to me,” she said with gritted teeth. "Uncle Allen, don't even try topersuade me. I will never go back to that place.” Sabina shook her head and waved her handdismissively.

Allen sighed. He knew what happened that year traumatized her.

"When you return to the Imperial City, you can visit your brother. He is now a royal spiritmanipulator,” said Allen, changing the subject.

"Really? He should be 17 years old now... But I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon," Sabinasaid, recalling her brother fondly.

"Yes, he always asks me where you went after you left. So many years have passed..." Allen's eyesgrew misty.

"Let's bid farewell here, Uncle Allen. You're not here to talk about the old days with me. I'm afraidyou need to take care of the mess in the city. I must take my leave.” Sabina then summonedDuchess Silver and left in a hurry.

"If your father hadn't made that mistake, you would have still been the pride and glory of our family. What a pity!" Allen shook his head regretfully as he watched Sabina's receding figure. Then, heturned around and abruptly disappeared.

Meanwhile, Rocky, who was on Uriah's back, flew in the direction of the north gate. After aroundthirty minutes of flight, he finally spotted what he'd been looking for: the cave next to the greenlake. There, he landed, and immediately entered the cave.

In the darkness of the cave, Rocky could barely make out a delicate figure laying asleep on the bellyof a beast. Beside her, there was some wild fruit laid out on a lotus leaf.

Rocky's presence instantly woke the beast; it raised its head vigilantly.

"Hush!" Rocky harshly whispered, gesturing at the beast to calm down

But it was too late. The maiden was awoken by the sudden movement, and she raised her headsleepily to look at the man who disturbed her slumber.

"Mr. Bai?" Sue exclaimed in a sleepy daze.

She leaned on Rubygon's back for support.

"Did you wait long?" Rocky asked concernedly.

"No," Sue shook her head. "How is Evian City?" She stood up.

"It's safe." Rocky smiled reassuringly.

"That's great! I knew you could handle it!" Sue cried excitedly.

"Let's go. I'll take you home," Rocky said, reaching out a hand to her.

As they emerged from the cave, they were surprised to be met by a person and her beast.

"Why are you here?" Rocky asked, wondering why Sabina followed him.

"You shouldn't have left without saying anything. The army of the Timber Deity Empire has justretreated. You need to be careful! The prince might bear a grudge against you,” Sabina whined."Are you worried about me?" A playful smile spread on Rocky's face.

Sabina's cheeks turned a bright red. She glared at Rocky, however her heart started beating muchfaster.
