"Marcia..." Lena's voice turned soft at the sight before her. No matter the situation, Marcia wasalways strong and never shed a tear. But in this moment, tears streamed down her cheeks becauseof Basil's death. Lena could only freeze in place while her hatred towards Marcia melted inside herheart.

Sadness and anger flooded her when she learned that Marcia hid the fact that Rocky was Basil fromher. Even though Marcia came tosee her afterwards to explain why she didn't want to tell her the truth, it was still too late and Lenacouldn't accept it.

However, in this moment, Lena decided to forgive her. Just like her, Marcia worried over Rocky andeven shed tears for him. Marcia was no longer the distinguished general of the Holy Dragon Empire,but just a normal woman. Marcia always treated Lena like her own sister too, so it was impossiblefor Lena to truly hate her.

While the imperial spirit manipulators and palace guards looked at each other in confusion, theydidn't hesitate in following Marcia's order and immediately retreated to the side. Her expressionmade it clear that their enemy was a tough nut to crack.

A strong wave of dust rose a dozen meters off the ground when the huge beast lightly landed onthe ground. All the imperial spirit manipulators and the palace guards could only tremble in fearwhen the powerful aura at the Divine Stage washed over their senses.

"Marcia, she's..?" Lena turned in surprise at Marcia when she saw the might of their enemy's aura."She's the princess of the Timber Deity Empire, Alyssa Mu. "Alyssa Mu? Is she the princess of the Timber Deity Empire that killed Basil?" Rage filled Lena's faceand her nails left deep crescent marks on her palms. This was her chance to avenge Basil.

Before she could move, Marcia held up a hand to stop her.

"Let me deal with her.” Right after she spoke, Marcia turned into a shadow and disappeared withouta trace. In the next moment, she appeared in front of Alyssa and slammed a palm strike on Alyssa'schest.

Contrary to their expectations, Alyssa didn't fight back at all and just took a couple of steps back toavoid Marcia's strike. A burst of bright light appeared on her palm and it burned like fire. In just aninstant, the air around it violently expanded.

Bang! A tide burst out from where Alyssa stood and rose higher and higher by the second. Theimperial spirit manipulators and the palace guards on both sides were pushed back; even the veryground ruptured at the sheer force.

The others could only stare in shock at the display of pure power. None of them expected thatMarcia would be so powerful. "Why aren't you fighting back?" When she saw Alyssa dodging her attack with no move to retaliate,Marcia could only stop and look at her in confusion.

"I didn't expect him to be the prince of the Holy Dragon Empire. It seems I underestimated himfrom the very beginning. Although I don't want to admit it, I really did lose to him," Alyssa gracefullyconceded.
