When Queenie spoke, she had already taken the dagger away from Juey's face. She did not show it,but she did not really want to hurt Juey. She just wanted to frighten her and give the members ofthe Xiao Clan a little lesson. What she didn't expect was that there would be someone who wouldsuddenly step in her way. This caught her off guard and ruined her plan.

"I'm just a servant from the Magical Beast House," Rocky said calmly.

There were two reasons for Raef's confusion. First, he wondered how Rocky had knownthat the tendon came from the Heavenly Wing Fish. Second, he felt as though Rocky wasn't aservant at all. "I'm relieved to hear your confidence, Miss Queenie. But if you won't be able to guess it right, youhave to leave this place right away. Also, you are not allowed to make trouble for Miss Jueyanymore. As for others, you can do whatever you want to them,” Rocky said in a serious tone. It wasclear from his eyes that he was determined.

After hearing that, everyone from the Xiao Clan realized that Rocky was trying to protect Juey. Theycould not help but assume that there might be an affair between the two of them.

"Rookie, please don't..." Juey also realized that Rocky wanted to protect her. But when she heardwhat Queenie's end of the deal was, she couldn't let Rocky get hurt because of her. She quicklyshook her head. She didn't want him to risk his life for her.

When the members of the Xiao Clan heard Queenie's words, they couldn't help but discuss in a lowvoice. They asked one another whether what they heard was accurate. Several were nodding toconfirm and they all turned to look at Rocky. They thought he must only be pretending to be soconfident and that he would immediately step back after hearing what Queenie said.

But Rocky just cast a glance at Juey and his eyes were still as cold as before. Then, to their surprise,he nodded at Queenie and said, "I hope you will keep your word.”

His agreement also shocked Queenie, but she wasn't going to let him trample her pride. "How dareyou say yes! Fine! Your life will be mine, and I won't let you die easily. "If you don't believe me, then ask your master.” Rocky turned to look at Lucas. He noticed the subtlelook on Lucas’ face when he took out the silver fur, so he knew that Lucas must be able to tell whichspirit-manipulated beast the fur came from.
