Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master
Chapter 784 In A Deserted Place

"Queenie, you'll probably meet him again in the Beast Master Contest. You don't have to go to him,"Lucas suggested.

"Really?" Queenie's eyes lit up with excitement.

"You don't believe me?" asked Lucas calmly.

"Of course I believe you. But Master, if you are lying, I will shave your head when you sleep tonight,”Queenie threatened.

Lucas chuckled and then he left with Queenie.

As Rocky dried himself, he kept on sneezing. He felt like it was a bad omen. He shook his head andshrugged his thoughts away. He didn't really care about it. Instead, he focused on searching forRainbow Glow Unicorn. He glanced at his map and walked towards the direction it pointed at.While in the depths of the forest, Rocky met rare spirit-manipulated beasts of high grade and highstar level, many of which he had not seen before. He also encountered some rare beasts that wereeven stronger than the spirit-manipulated beasts. He was in awe of each creature he met and heknew that they would be of value to his research. But he was clear that his current strength wouldnot allow him to do anything except protect himself. He wouldn't want to be digging his own grave.Fortunately, there weren't too many of them and the forest was very large. He just snuck behindtrees and made sure he walked quietly.

From where Rocky was, the sky remained the same shade. He couldn't tell what time it was orwhether it was day or night. He did feel like he'd been walking for two to three days already.

Finally, Rocky reached the end of the forest. To his surprise, it turned into a dry boundless land witha violent sandstorm and thick dust fog. It had not signs of life. It looked like a place whereeverything had been ravaged.

Rocky sensed a strong evil spirit that filled the air. It was similar to the killing intent and resentmentthat had covered the battlefield and had scared people. But Rocky wasn't scared. In fact, he found itto be appealing and found himself stepping on the barren land unconsciously.

Rocky took out the treasure map. According to it, he was halfway towards the Myriad Spirit Tomb.

'lt seems that I have to go through this deserted land first, ' Rocky thought to himself. He put awaythe treasure map, and continued moving forward.

After what felt like half a day, the sandstorm stopped and the yellow fog disappeared. Suddenly, anextremely strong spiritual power rushed out from the ground and filled the whole area. It wassomething out of the ordinary.

Rocky started to feel uncomfortable. The blood in his veins started boiling under the impact of thespiritual power. He was starting to lose control of his body.

He looked up and his eyes widened in shock. He was faced with something he had never seen in hisentire life.

Skeletons of various shapes broke out from the ground as if they were alive.

The skeletons were huge. They were even larger than the rare beasts Rocky saw in the forest.Suddenly, the beast skeletons started to run and fly around the barren land. The place wasdrowning in their deafening roaring sounds.

Before long, the whole area was covered by countless giant skeletons. It's like a gathering ofthousands of beasts with great momentum.

Rocky was in shock as he tried to make sense of the scene. Then, out of nowhere, the skeletonsturned to look at each other and started fighting one another.

Roaring and pounding filled the air. The entire barren land shook with force.

Rocky couldn't muster anything. What he was looking at was beyond human imagination. It was astrange battle indeed. These rare beasts, which had been dead and turned into corpses, wouldsuddenly come back to life and stage a war on this barren land.

Rocky was even more amazed at how almost none of the skeletons looked the same. This meantthat the place was home to thousands or even tens of thousands of rare beast species. However, itseemed like something terrible had happened in the past that had caused their collective death. But, above all, he was shocked at the beast skeletons’ ability to come back to life. It looked like theywere reproducing the scene of the war.

'What used to happen here?" Rocky asked himself over and over again. He watched the fierce battlein front and above him. Suddenly, he understood how the desolate land had been formed. Perhapsit resulted from the huge destruction of these ten thousand beasts.

“What is beyond this land? It should be interesting.’ Rocky was deeply curious. Before this, he hadalready guessed that this abyss was the territory of the spiritual race, but he figured that anythingbeyond his imagination was now possible. He knew the dangers ahead of him, but he decided tocontinue moving forward.

Strangely enough, Rocky walked peacefully amidst the fighting beasts. They were deeply immersedin battle and had ignored Rocky's existence altogether.

As Rocky was nearing the end of the battlefield, he heard loud bangs behind him. When he looked,he saw the ten thousand rare beasts" skeletons collapse to the ground.

Then, the air stirred the sand and dusts and pushed them towards Rocky.

Rocky stared at the rushing sandstorm and panicked. He knew better than to underestimate itsferocity. He activated all of his spiritual power before running away from it.

However, despite all his efforts, he was still submerged in the boundless dust.
