At the moment, Lucilla personally led eleven Beast Masters into the Qi Clan mansion. She walkedconfidently, with her head up in the sky as she marched forward. On the other hand, Lucas andRocky walked side by side. As they took each step, they attracted a lot of eyes and started to stir updiscussions. After all, it was well-known amongst the people that the only one who had the strengthto fight against the Qi Clan in the Beast Master Contest was the Cao Clan. "Mr. Rookie, I am guessing it's your first time to take part in the Beast Master Contest?" Lucas spokeas he continued to walk forward. He asked in an indirect way, not even turning to face Rocky.

"Yes." Rocky nodded as he responded. He had to speak loud enough for his voice to be heard as thesurroundings were filled with chatter and all sorts of noise.

"Mr. Rookie is indeed not from the Timber Deity Empire.” Lucas laughed and guessed. He gave out asmall smirk and tossed his head sideward to glance at Rocky.

However, Rocky just smiled and said nothing.

"But I can see that Mr. Rookie have traveled to many places...” Lucas continued. He gave Rocky alook from head to toe and nodded softly, as if agreeing with himself.

"I am sure I can't compare with Master Lucas,” replied Rocky humbly.

"At your early age, you've already been to the depths of the Black Sand Abyss, which makes youeven out of my reach!" Lucas said meaningfully. From the start, Lucas had been certain that Rockywas not an ordinary person since he had dared to go to the Black Sand Abyss alone. He had evensaved Queenie. However, he didn't know how many secrets Rocky had hidden.

Just then, Lucilla and the eleven Beast Masters who were walking in front suddenly came into a stop.And then, they heard someone started talking

After hearing the voice, Lucas and Rocky stepped forward.

"It's him." In a glimpse, Tate, the eldest son of Qi Clan that Rocky met last time, was standing in frontof Lucilla along with a few bodyguards.

"What can I do for you, Mr. Tate?" As soon as Lucilla saw Tate, a dark expression was painted on herface.

"Lucilla, we haven't seen each other for a long time, right?" Tate asked fondly, and took a small stepforward, closing the distance between them.

"Please mind your tone. I'm the chief of the Cao Clan now. Thus, please call me Chief Lucilla," Lucillaexpressed in a firm tone.

"Lucilla, this is not the right place to talk. Let's go somewhere else. I will order people to receiveMaster Lucas and every beast master of the Cao Clan," Tate continued and laid down his offers in analmost convincing tone. It was as if he would not give up.

"But I don't have anything to say to you. Go away!" Lucilla said with a serious look.

Tate frowned as he heard her cold response. But he had no intentions of letting Lucilla go. Byrefusing his offer, Lucilla did not give Tate any other choice.

"Hey, didn't you hear what my sister said? Get out of the way!" Unable to hold back her anger,Queenie lunged forward and glared at Tate. Her tone was fierce as she spoke and her eyes weresharp.

"Don't be rude to our young master!" warned one of Tate's bodyguards as Queenie's disrespectbothered them

"Get out of here!" Tate shouted coldly towards his men.

The bodygurads bowed their heads and retreated quietly, obeying Tate's order.

Lucilla glanced at Tate and continued, "Mr. Tate, now the Cao Clan and the Qi Clan are evenlymatched, you'd better not do anything to get us wrong. We have nothing to do with each other.”Hearing that, Tate also put on a serious look. Suddenly, his expression was cold and firm.

After finishing her words, Lucilla nodded to Lucas and Rocky as she continued to lead her peopleforward.

"It seems as though the chief is still mad about what happened in the past..." Lucas sighed under hisbreath.

"Did the Qi Clan break off their engagement?" asked Rocky subconsciously.

"How do you know about that?" Lucas turned to look at Rocky as he heard what Rocky said.

"Your disciple told me." Although Rocky made a slip of the tongue, he was very calm.

"Queenie? How could she tell you that? You..." Lucas stared at Rocky strangely. Now that he thoughtabout it, he hadn't heard Queenie asking for Rocky's trouble as often these days.

Rocky said no words and instead responded with a smile.

"Since you already know, I can tell you. The chief was not mad about Qi Clan's breakoff of theengagement... Because of the fact that the former chief spiraled into madness suddenly, Chief Lucillahas suspected that this has something to do with the Qi Clan..." After thinking for a while, Lucas’expression changed.

Rocky's eyes froze. He had heard something about the Cao Clan recently. He didn't expect it to besuch an inside story. Curiosity stirred up inside him as he realized this.

"Is it because the Qi Clan framed the former chief of the Cao Clan?" Rocky guessed.

"Let me put those thoughts away. After all, Mr. Rookie is not a member of the Cao Clan. Knowingtoo much is not good for you." Lucas stopped himself from talking.

It was clear that Lucas wasn't going to open his mouth again to let Rocky in on secrets so Rockystopped asking too.

After the long walk, Rocky and the Beast Masters of the Cao Clan went to the wing house the QiClan arranged for them. Lucilla and Lucas went to see the chief of the Qi Clan, Alexander Qi.Alexander was also a legendary figure. It was said that at about thirty years old, he was just anobody, but by his forty, he had established the Qi Clan. By the time he was fifty, the Qi Clan wasappointed by the royal family of the Timber Deity Empire to raise spirit-manipulated beasts for theirspirit manipulators. Now, after raising spirit-manipulated beasts for several years, the Qi Clan wasgoing to celebrate Alexander's sixtieth birthday. Also, the Qi Clan had already become one of theleading spirit manipulator clans in the country. Their current power was almost equal to that of theCao Clan, which had a history of several more years.

On the other side, Rocky had just entered his room when he saw Queenie rush in.

"You bastard..." Queenie rushed towards Rocky. Her feet was stomping against the floor and she wasbreathing heavily.

However, as soon as Queenie got close, Rocky took a step back and Queenie failed to grab him. Shedidn't expect that Rocky would dodge so fast. Before she could regain her balance, she desperatelytried to grab him, but accidentally stumbled over the leg of the table. In a blink of an eye, shepounced on him

Rocky had planned to avoid her and walk away, but unexpectedly, Queenie directly held his waistand put her whole body on him. He felt all her weight against his body. It was too late to dodge.
