At the same moment, the beast masters of the Cao and Qi clans were on both sides as they waitedat the resting area specially prepared for the battle. Their chiefs gracefully sat amongst them as well.Since the Qi Clan was the host, the resting area was surrounded by the disciples of the clan who letout unrestrained energetic cheers. In the resting area, the beast masters were also settled onopposite sides. Alexander, the chief of the clan, sat in the middle of the area and Tate sat next tohim.

"Tate, have you arranged everything?" Alexander glanced at his son.

"Yes, father. Everything will go well. There's no need to worry. We'll beat the Cao Clan for sure thistime! I'll make them regret attending this game.” Tate was calm but his tone was undeniably surly."If we defeat the Cao Clan this time, our clan will become the number one clan of the Timber DeityEmpire. Alyssa who was ahead of the group heard the greeting and just snorted, continuing their walkthrough the competition hall under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

Several princes of the Timber Deity Empire including Woods followed Alyssa. Since these princes allhad their unique power within the empire, most of the families participated in the Beast MasterContest had attached themselves to these princes. They all wanted a win-win relationship. However,none of the princes dared to act as arrogant as they used to in Alyssa's presence. They kept as lowprofile as they could. After all, no matter how powerful they were, they couldn't provoke Alyssa whowas like the backbone of the Timber Deity Empire. Her status within the empire was not somethingthey could easily shake. All of these spoiled princes had to be humble on this occasion.

Of course, it was just a show in order to grab the Timber Deity Empire's throne that they all openlyand secretly fought over. Their greatest enemy was Woods, who was actually Alyssa's youngerbrother.
