During this moment, the second prince, Geoffrey, stood beside Woods. They walked alongside eachother while Alyssa walked ahead of them. While Woods seemed to be soft, gentle and carefree,Geoffrey looked more strong, mature and elegant. Their looks and disposition were polar opposites.He immediately attracted the attention of the crowd because of his strikingly handsome face andkingly posture. After Alyssa and the princes passed through the crowd, they took their seats which had beenprepared for them in advance. Then, the chiefs of the eight clans, including Alexander and Lucilla, aswell as the five judges of the Beast Master Contest, including Samson and Lucas, came up to bow toshow respect and courtesy towards Alyssa and the princes.

"Good day, Princess Alyssa. May I ask where is the emperor?” Alexander asked respectfully. He wasthe chief of the Qi Clan and also the host of the contest. In the past, the emperor of the TimberDeity Empire always found a way to watch the final match no matter how busy he was. This was hisway to show that he gave great importance to the contest. However, the emperor was absent todayand only Alyssa and the other princes were present. It was a little bit confusing for him.

"He doesn't feel very well, so he can't come today. Although, he wanted to say that he wishes thatthe two clans will show their unparalleled capabilities and strength today, and that both clans bringhonor to the empire,” Alyssa said in a cold and proud voice.

Upon hearing what Alyssa had to say, the two chiefs immediately bowed to her.

"Alright. What are we waiting for? Let's get this started.” And at her command, the final match ofthe Beast Master Contest began.

Alexander and Lucilla went back to their resting area.

After drawing lots, the task for the first round between the two clans was to evaluate beasts.

"What a relief. It seems that we are lucky.” Lucilla felt a little relieved when she knew that the firstround was to evaluate beasts because it was one of the main strengths of the Cao Clan. Ifeverything went well during the round, then there was a high chance that the Cao Clan would beable to win.

Before the competition started, Lucas, one of the judges of the contest, suddenly showed up in theresting area.

"Master Lucas, why are you here?" Lucilla surprisingly asked as she saw Lucas approaching her."Princess Alyssa suddenly wanted to be the judge of the competition, so I came over here," Lucassaid while stroking his well-kept beard.

"Really? She wants to be the judge? Why does she want to be the judge all of a sudden? I think thismight be bad for us. After all, she is..." Lucilla began to worry about this new information.

"Oh, don't worry. Even if she wants to take the Qi Clan's side, it would be impossible for her to dothat in front of so many people. Besides, evaluating beasts requires real strength and it is difficult tocheat your way through. So, you have nothing to worry about," Lucas said while waving his handdismissively.

"Well, I hope you're right.” When she heard what Lucas said, Lucilla let out a sigh of relief.

"But we must send Sam for the first round, so the Qi Clan will have a harder chance to make acomeback. I think this is the best strategy for us," Lucas proposed seriously.

"Alright, if you say so.” Lucilla thought for a while and nodded in agreement. She then told Sam toprepare for the round.

"Hey, where is Mr. Rookie?" Lucas looked around the whole resting area but he couldn't see Rockyanywhere.

"I have no idea. I didn't see him earlier this morning,” Lucilla said as she shook her head at Lucas."Maybe he did something terribly wrong, so he didn't dare to come today,” Queenie, who stoodbeside them, said while pouting her lips. It was obvious that she still held a grudge over whathappened last time. She had looked endlessly for Rocky these past few days, but she couldn't replacehim anywhere. It was as if he was playing hide and seek with her.

"Speaking of the devil, I also haven't seen him for two days," Juey said as she joined theconversation.

The people of the Cao Clan immediately looked at each other in confusion. They felt that whatRocky was doing in the past two days was somewhat suspicious and unusual.

But the competition was about to begin, so everyone's attention was drawn on the beast evaluatingcompetition.

The rule of the final match was a little different from that of the previous competition. The numberof rounds was increased to three. In addition, two beast masters had to compete for three rounds,and the one who won two rounds was the winner.

So, the final match of the Beast Master Contest became more interesting and exciting. Besides that,the powerful beast masters of both clans also had the opportunity to show their full strength.

And Sam from the Cao Clan confirmed that this was true about the competition. With hisremarkable strength to evaluate beasts, he won four consecutive rounds, defeating two beastevaluators from the Qi Clan.

As a result of his wins, the Cao Clan had an overwhelming advantage. As long as the Cao Clan coulddefeat a beast master, they were sure that they would win the round of evaluating beasts.

"Sam did a great job. He lived beyond our expectations,” Lucas exclaimed as he saw Sam outdidhimself in the competition. He was really impressed at how great Sam's performance was.

Lucilla was also pleased at Sam's progress in the competition.

"Oh my God! If Sam wins this easily, then I will have no chance to compete!" The only person whowas unhappy about it was Queenie. She couldn't compete in the first two rounds. And now, itseemed that she wouldn't have the chance to compete in the third round as well. She had hopedthat she could debut her first show in the Beast Master Contest.

Even though two beast evaluators of the Qi Clan were already defeated, Alexander looked verycalm.

"It's time to shock the Cao Clan, Tate,” Alexander said mischievously as he nodded at Tate.

Tate then whispered something to the servant behind him. The servant turned around and left. Amoment later, the servant escorted a stout man towards Alexander.

"I give you my sincerest gratitude for fighting for us," Alexander said. His tone was surprisinglyrespectful and sincere.

"You are more than welcome. But remember that I must get what I want if I win,” the man said witha sly smile. Then, he walked away from Alexander and towards the round platform.

Just as the stout man stepped on the platform, people started discussing among themselves inhushed whispers. Most of the people felt that he was quite peculiar and he didn't seem to be abeast evaluator from the Qi Clan.

"This man should not be the beast evaluator of the Qi Clan. Although I must say that I think hisstrength is undoubtedly strong,” Lucas said when he saw the strange man on the round platform."Maybe he was the beast evaluator secretly recruited by the Qi Clan. That's why we didn't know anyrelevant information about him,” Lucilla said quietly.

"Probably. But we still need to wait and see how capable and strong he is," Lucas said after amoment of hesitation. He already had a suspicious feeling about this strange man.

And to everyone's surprise, the results of the competition were beyond their expectations.
