"Wait!" as the Cao Clan mourned in silence, and accepted their defeat, a familiar voice shouted.Everyone from the Cao Clan turned to look for the voice. It was Rocky. He stood on one corner andhad witnessed the entire competition. He knew the implications and saw the pain in Lucilla's eyes.With confidence, he walked towards Lucilla and said, "Chief, please allow me to come up on thestage.”

"Mr. Rookie, what do you mean? What are you asking?” Lucilla was stunned and could not believeRocky's words.

The beast masters of the Cao Clan, including Mary and Travis, were all taken aback. They all stared atRocky, annoyed by his arrogance. They all thought asking to fight with Carter after he defeatedQueenie was a stupid move.

"The Cao Clan has nothing to lose if you will allow me to fight Carter,” Rocky insisted as he placedhis arms across his chest confidently. The Beast Master Contest was an important part of his planand he could not let Carter get in the way of his endeavor. Regardless if he had grown stronger andmore powerful.

Rocky expected the Cao Clan to win the beast evaluation competition, but he knew they did notstand a chance in winning the beast manipulation competition. His plan was to make sure the CaoClan advanced to the beast curing competition against the Qi Clan, so Juey could represent the CaoClan and compete against the Qi Clan. He wanted people to notice Juey, and the competition wouldgive her an opportunity to show off her skills. It was why he could not let Lucilla give up. If the CaoClan would suffer loss at the beast evaluation competition, they could not move forward with therest of the competition and he could not let that happen. Therefore, they had to win thiscompetition, whatever it would take. At present, he was the Cao Clan's last and only hope. He hadto fight against Carter and win the competition for them.

It was a fatal decision for Rocky. He ran the risk of being noticed and his identity revealed. Alyssaand the princes of the Timber Deity Empire were both here to watch the battle. If they recognizedhim, all his plans would go to waste and his life would once again be in danger.

"What's wrong? You have nothing to lose, anyway. Please, just let me go up on the stage and fightCarter.” Rocky did not want to explain his motives. He just wanted Lucilla to give him a chance.

"Mr. Rookie, I don't think you can defeat Carter even if you have some undisclosed strength.”Rocky's request also surprised Lucas. He always felt something mysterious towards Rocky, and heknew he was a cut above the rest, but it was still impossible for him to win against Carter.
