"Even so, it doesn't have to be me! Our clan has no shortage of beautiful women. If Mr. Rookie isthe type to fall for such women, then he can have fun with them for as long as he wants to!" Despitewhat she said, she was still repulsed by the idea—not of Rocky, but the idea of using a woman toseduce and corrupt him. If Mr. Rookie is the one, Iguarantee that you'll never regret it. Time and tide wait for no man. You'd better hurry up. It will betoo late if Mr. Rookie leaves our clan.” Lucas nodded at Lucilla and then walked away.

Remaining where she stood, Lucilla's eyes followed Lucas until he was out of sight. As she began toimagine Rocky's striking figure on the stage yesterday, the confusion was clear in her eyes. "Is hereally worth committing my life to?" she asked herself.

The next day, the final competition of the Beast Master Contest was going to take place as planned.Rocky became the main topic of the entire capital due to his brilliant performance two days ago.Before the competition, the hall was abuzz with chatter about the breathtaking competitionbetween the Cao Clan's mysterious beast evaluator and Carter. Lucilla stopped pacing and directed her gaze to Lucas for advice.

"There you are, Mr. Rookie. How's your injury?" Lucilla asked as she stood up to greet him."Nothing serious. What happened? I have this weird feeling...” Rocky immediately asked.

Once Lucilla told him everything she knew, Rocky turned his gaze towards Travis who, with eachstep towards the ring, made the strange feeling within him grow stronger.
