Before the Beast Master Contest, he had specially traveled all over the country and collectedthe blood essence of more than 30 kinds of outstanding spirit-manipulated beasts to feed to thered egg. However, the results proved that the blood essence of those beasts was not as effective asthat of Rainbow Glow Unicorn and Rubygon.

After pondering it over for a while, Rocky took out the drop of Alyssa's blood essence that he had“stolen” from her last time. He believed that Alyssa's blood essence must be more useful than thatof ordinary spirit-manipulated beasts because of her power of the Divine Stage as well as heroriginal physique of the spiritual race.

Rocky put the vial of Alyssa's blood essence in front of the red egg. Sensing the smell of new blood,the red egg immediately stretched out its transparent tentacles and wiped away the blood essencein the container.

After the red egg absorbed Alyssa's blood essence, there was a burst of red light that lit up most ofthe room. Then, the red light began to be gradually filled with a yellowish tint, but it stoppedchanging just before it became completely yellow.

What was more, onlythree Dark Heaven Insects could produce middle-grade Dark Heaven Eggs. The other seven werestill larvae, so they could not produce Dark Heaven Eggs. In order to accelerate their growth, thegenetic modification experiment was imperative.

Of course, genetic modification came with risks. Robin had nearly had an accident during theprocess, but without the gene mutation, it couldn't have shown such great potential now.

The reward was well worth the risks. Now, there were seven larvae in Rocky's hands. Even if thenumber of larvae had decreased during the experiment, it would still be within the acceptablerange. And anyway, the most important thing was the final result of the experiment.

Thus, Rocky selected two of the larvae that were most suitable for his experiment. However, as the highest starlevel of the larvae of Dark Heaven Insects was only three-star, the Dark Heaven Eggs they producedwere also divided into three levels. However, even the highest level of the Dark Heaven Eggs wasonly suitable for spirit manipulators from the high level of the Heavenly Stage to the primary level ofthe Supernal Stage.
