"You... You are..." Rocky breathed in shock. In fact, he had seen this being before! It was none otherthan the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast he had seen in the Myriad Spirit Tomb. But he could notunderstand what it was doing here at the moment.

He had a lot of questions in mind now."You are already an inheritor. With me by your side, you will be able to successfully gather the bloodof the nine legendary guardian beasts and open the door to the path of omnipotent skill,” theDragon-shaped Soul Beast explained.

"An inheritor? Does it have anything to do with the Witch of the Holy Dragon Empire? And what isthe path of omnipotent skill, anyway?" Rocky asked, raising his eyebrows in confusion. He had neverheard of any of these terms before.

"That's something that you will have to discover on your own," the Dragon-shaped Soul Beastreplied mysteriously.

"Forget it. I'm not interested. You can replace another inheritor,” Rocky said blankly. He had much moreimportant things to do than go and collect the divine blood of the legendary guardian beasts.

"It is your destiny! You can't deny it," the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast said angrily in a booming voicethat thundered in Rocky's ears.

"Destiny? Do you know how difficult it would be to gather the divine blood of the nine legendaryguardian beasts? First of all, I don't even know where any of those beasts are. And even if I did, Idon't have the strength to collect their divine blood. With my current strength, I can't even defeatan ordinary guardian beast, let alone a legendary one," Rocky said, shaking his head helplessly. Infact, what he hated most in this world was the concept of destiny. He believed that everything couldbe changed as long as one made the choice to do it. "Then there's nothing in it for me." Rocky shook his head in disappointment and asked, "By the way,you have been in the jade for so long. Why did you come out now?"
