Chapter 107: Broken Trust

"It's fine. I get where you are coming from." Amira said to me.

"Okay can you tell me? What really happened to Axel and why he needs emotional support at this time every year." I asked here.

"He needs emotional support by this time of the year because, he lost his parents by this time of the year when he was still a teenager." Amira said.

"But that doesn't make up for his bad morals," I shrugged.

"Yes it does not and I am not trying to support him but please cut him some slack. He lost his parents in the most inhumane way possible and I do not wish that for anyone." Amira said sadly.

"Do you know how I lost my parents?" I laughed.

"I didn't mean it like that...

"No, you don't understand. Do you know how I lost my parents?" Lyra asked.

"No," Amira bowed her head slightly.

"Okay, I will tell you. My mother was brutally slaughtered by the man I considered my father and I brutally killed my actual father thinking it was a villain. I didn't replace out I was the person that killed my father until the man I considered showed up and told me he was the father of my husband and they I found out all my friends had been lying to me and I killed my father!" I said at the top of my voice.

"I know Lyra, I am sorry that things lie that happened to you but not everyone is as strong as you," she said.

"I am not asking him to be as strong as me, he could have at least told me he was going through something. I would have helped him out," I explained to her.

"Maybe he was too ashamed of his past to tell you and maybe he was trying to do his best to not think about it so he decided to drink and Alice took it as an opportunity," Amira defended.

"Self control! He needs that," I said angrily as I walked into my closet and I started packing up my clothes.

"Lyra you need to understand that not everyone is like you and not everyone thinks like you. I am sure that he would have exercised some restraint and self control if he wasn't so drunk but he was and it ha happened. We need to replace a way to move forward from it," Amira said.

"Oh I have found a way and that includes moving forward from him," I said.

"Lyra it is not like that, I don't need you to just abandon him like that, especially now, he will fall back into depression. He almost killed himself before," Amira said and I looked at her incredulously.

"And what do you think? That I haven't been depressed? That I didn't try to leave this fuck up world? That I love it here?" I asked her getting angrier by the minute.

"What more do you want from me? This is you relationship with my cousin, I am only trying to salvage the situation not turn it into a quarrel between us," She looked at me.

"But then you are supporting him and trying to make up excuses for him instead of telling him he was wrong. Imagin if David has sex with you again and after promising that he loves you and claiming you are his mate then he goes and has sex with Naomi, how will you feel? Will you consider he has had a hard life? Haven't you had a hard life too?" I asked.

"Yes, I have, she replied.

"Good now I need you to help me, you have to help me get a new apartment. I cannot stay here anymore. I don't want to see him and I don't want to try to mend anything or forgive him. I am tired of trying to forgive everyone," I said to her and she nodded.

"Okay, there is one empty house I know about, but it is far away from the rest of the pack and it is close to the border," She told me.

"Good, I will appreciate it. Thank goodness it s far from here as possible. I have no issues with it, can we check it out now?" I asked. "Of course we can check it out," she nodded and my down was opened by Alice who barged in.

"Hi," she smiled in a smug way.

"Get out of her," Amira barked angrily.

"And why should I? I will soon be luna and I will own this pack and the pack house," she smiled looking at me.

"This is the room I and Axel will stay in and whenever he fucks me in here, I will remember that it was once your room," she laughed and Amira jumped on her ready to beat her.

I pulled her back while Alice laid on the floor screaming.

"What is all the noise about?" David asked sternly, it looked like he was passing by and got drawn by the noise.

He was surprised to see Amira inside my room. "Amira... um I.. Hi. What are you doing here?" he stuttered.

"I am here with my friend and Alice barged into the room and started provoking us,” Amira said.

"Alice, get out of here now," David said not asking for any further explanation like he knew what was going on.

"Don't shout at me, I will leave," Alie warned as she stood up from the floor and used her hands to dust her clothes.

She turned to look at David and she said, "You have a mate don't forget and stop acting like you are Amira savior because at the end of the day, you will still go back to your wife," she said and she walked out of the door. David looked alarmed as he looked at Amira who was no longer staring at him.

"Thank you David for interfering you can go now," I smiled at him.
