REBORN UNDER THE FULL MOON
Chapter 85: Temptations of The Realm

"We are only making a deal," they said to grand nan, then they looked at me.

"Will you bring us our necklace? Or not?" they asked me.

"I will bring it back, we have a deal," I looked at them and they nodded.

They chanted words with a type of spell I wasn't familiar with and a void opened up.

"Go inside it, it will take you to the curse bearer's realm. Do not look around or answer anything that calls on to you and just keep on marching forward. If the weird sisters call out to you, don't answer them. And if you get any apparition, it is not real and it is the people of the realm testing you. They all know you are there for the curse bearer, so they are trying to tempt you to forget your mission. But do not stop and do not engage in any unnecessary fight keep your conversation with them minimal because they can coax you into saying your mission. If anyone asks, you are there to see the curse bearer that's all. You know where he stays because there is a trail of blood that leads to his house. Go now," they said to me as they motioned to the void encouraging me to step inside it.

I walked forward and I stepped in to the void. It felt like my feet was shaking and suddenly everything stopped. It all became still and there was silence so grave that I could hear the blood following through my veins. I started to relax and everything became fast lie I was in a very dangerous rollercoaster ride.

"Ahh!" I screamed as it got faster to the point that it felt like I was moving at a speed of minus one second per minute.

Then it all stopped and I was dropped into a pile of grass.

"Ouch, that hurt," I whined as I got on my feet patting my body to be freed from the dust.

"Could they make the transition to this place a little smoother? I have a feeling they made it this rough," I scoffed as I started walking towards the closest road I could replace.

"Hi, I'm Madeline," a little girl said to me as she appeared before me.

"Hi," I nodded at her and I continued moving.

"What is your name?" the little girl blinked at me.

"I cannot say," I said not looking at her face as something told me she was a distraction.

I increased my pace.

"Hey, that's not fair! I told you my name." I heard her call out behind me but I paid her no mind.

"Where are you headed?" she asked me another question.

"Nowhere," I answer swiftly as I made a turn into the road.

"Where nowhere? I could take you wherever you want to go," she said.

"Don't worry, I know my way,' I responded as I quickened my pace but she still caught up to me. "Why won't you look at me?" She asked me.

"I am focused on the road," I said.

"Well, that's rude," her voice changed and it took everything in me not to look back because she suddenly sounded like Aria.

Aria is not here, keep walking. I said to myself as I continued my journey.

I walked a little bit further and I didn't feel her presence anymore. It was getting dark and I didn't know what this place looked like in the night and I was sure I didn't want to replace out. I looked for an inn and when I couldn't replace one, I remembered Alexis's training.

She once told me that if I was stuck somewhere that wasn't safe, I could make a tent with magic. All I needed to do was replace a place that had grass and I could build my own tent.

I looked around and I saw grass at the other side of the road, I quickly walked there and I started to chant the spells.

Soon the tent was formed. It was big enough and very spacious. I walked inside and I was shocked. It was very arranged and it felt like home and there was food inside.

"I am so thankful you were my teacher, Alexis" I smiled at the open space and I remembered she warned me to always say a spell to guard the tent from evil and malicious spirits and typically anybody that will try to enter the tent while I am inside.

I quickly said the spell and I ate. Soon after I started to feel sleepy and I put off the lamp and went to bed.

Immediately I closed my eyes, I felt a presence outside, it was cold and it was forcing itself inside my tent but my spells were strong so it couldn't move past them. "Open the door," the voice spoke roughly.

I held my breath and closed my eyes. Soon I feel asleep and I found myself on the roads again. This time, it wasn't just me there were three ladies with me. "Lyra, what are you doing here?" the first lady smiled at me.

"Who are you people?" I asked them.

"We are the weird sisters," the one by my right smiled at me and I remembered the Scribe sisters warning and I started looking forward. I didn't look at their friendly faces again. "We know why you are here and we can help you," the first one said to me.

I knew three things were wrong, one: How did they know my name, I never introduced myself to them. Two: I was warned about them.

Three: this confirms the curse bearer knows I am here and he is trying to derail me.

"Okay, thank you but I am an adventurous person and I like to face hardships on my own," I smiled at them.

"You will not survive these roads on your own darling, we warned you," she laughed and the vanished.
