Chapter 111

Gabi’s POV

Gina gave birth a month later to a beautiful baby girl. She was absolutely precious, her mother, however, wasn’t. The attack had been witnessed by several people, both the rogues, and our Warriors, and Tanner was out for b***d for her hitting me with the tree branch.

I made the phone call and asked them to come by B***d Rose for a visit, that I needed to speak with them about something. The baby was just 2 days old, and I hoped that they will want her to raise, as I felt like it would help them out in so many ways.

I greeted them outside and they were glad to come to visit, and as I escorted them into the house, 1 saw Stone’s nose tip up and smell the air. He took off towards our kitchen and we heard a squeal before we heard two voices say, “Mate” I headed towards the kitchen with Alpha Wyatt and Luna Everly hot on my heels so we could see Stone’s mate. It was Isabella, that had just come into the pack from the rogue group. I was so happy for them both.

Her parents showed up a short time later, and they were given the option of staying here or going with Isabella to Crimson Shadow. They decided to go with Isabella to Crimson Shadow.

They went to pack, as we headed to the dining room to talk. Aria and Dawson each had a twin and Tanner was holding the baby that Gina had given birth to. I took the baby as Tanner passed it to me, and handed her to Luna Everly, who was surprised to see a baby girl with us.

“Where did she come from? She is precious” Luna Everly asked.

We got attacked by rogues, and when we took them down her mother attacked me from the back with a tree branch. Since she knew I was Luna, as she was one of the girls from the fight I had, she has been put to death for assaulting me.

I couldn’t punish an innocent baby, so we waited for her to give birth first. I thought that you two might want to raise her, as she needs someone to take care of her and protect her” I told them.

Luna Everly started crying, and said, “But look at how your sister turned out. We failed as parents. I don’t want this baby to be like Taylor was”.

“She won’t. You found me, so you aren’t worried about me anymore, and Stone is basically trained to be Alpha now. So, you two can step down, and just raise her.

Stone just met his mate, and you can give it a few months before you transfer the pack over to him and Isabella, for her to be trained as the Luna. The baby just needs love, Taylor learned very early that if she cried, she got stuff, and she liked that.

You won’t be doing that with this baby, I heard from what she said that she knew you were focused on trying to replace me and training Stone to be the Alpha.

Plus, she was more than just a narcissist, she had other issues, and she just liked to blame others for her own actions. Your focus will be on this little one, and I think you will both do a great job raising her”.

“I would love another chance to be a parent actually, Everly. This baby may be Goddess sent to us to take care of” Alpha Wyatt said, and Luna Everly nodded at him. They both gazed down at her cute little face and her dark head of hair.

“We would love to raise her Gabi,” Luna Everly said to me.

“What is her name?” Alpha Wyatt asked.

Tanner and I looked at each other and shrugged. I said to them, “We didn’t name her, we were going to let you two name her if you wanted to raise her”.

Alpha Wyatt and Luna Everly looked at her for a while and said, “Emily, I like Emily” Alpha Wyatt said. “I like Grace” Luna Everly said”.

“Perfect, we have a great name in Emily Grace Wilson,” I said and they both nodded. I know that they will love and take care of her, and this would help them be able to heal as well. Taylor had a great deal wrong with her, and they can’t take that burden on themselves.

Taylor chose to do what she wanted to do, and there was a deeper problem in her head, she just fell under the radar because she was young and they just thought that it was because she was spoiled, and not a deeper issue. I am sure they will do better with this baby, and in time she will help them both heal completely by loving her.

I had called Von last night, as I was originally going to offer this baby to them. They are so loving and I knew that they would be wonderful parents for her. But Von told me that I should give her to Wyatt and Everly to raise.

She said that with what happened it is so hard not to focus on it daily, as they live where it happened, and they probably relive the trauma of it every day, making it so hard to get past. Von said as much as they would love a baby that Heath is already making plans on how to train Little Percy to take over Ever Green.

I had already agreed to let baby Dawson go for a week to just get to spend time with them, and then a week together with both babies for a week a short time later, and then two weeks in summer, one at the beginning, and one at the end, Percy would get the one on one time with Heath to learn what Heath wanted to teach him.

Heath said when he gets to be 12 years old that he would like to have him over the winter holidays too. As far as Von and Heath were concerned, I was their only child, and then they were blessed with grandbabies. Von said that taking the focus off killing Taylor, would allow them to grow and have less pain, until one day it would be totally gone.

So Von wanted me to give her to Wyatt and Everly. Plus she said, “I am sure we will be getting more grandbabies and I look forward to getting to see them too”.

Stone and Bella came back into the dining room with her family right behind them. Stone had filled them in that I was his big sister and introduced them to his family. He was surprised when he saw the baby and stopped talking for a minute.

Alpha Wyatt told him, “Gabi just allowed us to raise this baby, she is an orphan. We have named her Emily Grace. If you are ready to head back, I am sure your mom will want to go shopping for things for the baby. She can sleep in our room and then when we move out of the Alpha suite, we can give her the room next to ours”.

“I am glad I brought my car too, instead of riding with you, or else Isabella would have to ride back on my lap,” Stone told them and winked at Isabella, who immediately blushed. I am so glad that my brother got such a great mate. Isabella is a great girl, that I have enjoyed talking to and getting to know, and I was 9 months older than her as I turned 19 in March.

It was now the end of May, and we were about to get the land we wanted to make our pack larger. We were both excited to get the cottages built, and the new packhouse built. I walked them to their car and hugged everyone before they left. I am so glad that Stone found his mate.

Hudson and Jameson came the next month to get the second round of training done to replace some elite trainers, and Jason signed up for this round. I had been working with him and so had Tanner, so he has a great shot of making it onto the team.

We had another town hall meeting to announce the new round to be on the elite team. Hudson, Jameson, and Alan were on the stage and Tanner was in the middle of his speech outlining the program when Hudson and Jameson both went still and then started sniffing the air.

They both got up and when down the stage steps and went in two different directions. Hudson went to a surprised young lady on the 4th row back from the front and picked her up and twirled her around. Her parents were equally as surprised at his actions.

Hudson is overjoyed at meeting his mate and he is sniffing her neck over and over again. She was a mixed-race girl, named Elenore, and she had come here as a refugee from the last rouge attack.

She was 5’10” tall with beautiful curly hair that framed her face. She had hazel eyes and was looking at Hudson in amusement. He slid her down his body and then said,” Mate” when he put her on the floor.

She nodded and said, “Mate” too and her parents looked very happy with her replaceing her mate. Hudson tugged her up on the stage with him and promptly sat her in his lap and smiled widely at her in pride and happiness.

Jameson had approached a woman that had also come in with the refugees from the rogue attack and had just become a warrior for us. She was 5’11” tall and had blonde hair and blue eyes. She was a force to be reckoned with, as I have seen her spar and she is good at it.

I know that she was here at the town hall meeting because she wants to try out for the elite team and wanted information on it. She grinned back at Jameson, and he bent down to give her a k!ss.

He also tugged her up to the stage as we all watched amused at the show, and he sat down and pulled her onto his lap, and I leaned forward to give them both a smile as I was sitting next to Alan. I am glad that they have finally found their mates as well. They are both really happy.

Two weeks later we get notification from the Werewolf Council that they will be putting Alpha Monty, to death, for everything he did having me kidnapped, killing Luna Liz’s first mate, and attacking Luna Liz to try to kill her and injecting her wolfsbane.

They also advised the Lowell Family were being put to death as well for their actions leading to the deaths of the rogues, their own pack members, and for plotting to kill Alpha Derek, and former Alpha Monty.

We went to Ever Green where they were being held on Friday, for the appointment for them to pass judgment. I saw that Derek and Marie were also there, as well as Luna Liz and Jason, Heath and Von, Alpha Black and Luna Vera, and Alpha Wyatt and Luna Everly. I have never seen them so happy as they took care of the baby girl, showing her off to everyone there who gushed over her.

You could see the pride that they have in her already as they were doting parents. Sometimes I wonder where I would be if I hadn’t been taken as a toddler, but I don’t dwell on it, my life is perfect now, so I wouldn’t change a thing. The baby actually looks a lot like me and Stone, so I think that makes it easier as well.

The werewolf council called for former Alpha Monty to enter as they passed judgement on him. He looked terrible. He was pale, and looked weak he was clearly smaller, as the cells they live in were not built for comfort. They were built to not be escaped from.

He still had the gall to look at me and smile, like he ruined my life, and Tanner growled at him. When someone is put to death, you get the choice of the werewolf counsel completing it, or someone that he wronged can be the one to do it. I had brought an extra pair of clothes to change into as, if no one else wanted to, I was going to be the one to do it.

The charges were read off and the judgement of death was handed out for Alpha Monty. The council looked at us in the courtroom and asked if anyone here would like to carry out his sentence. I waited to see if anyone was going to call out and then I raised my hand, as Luna Liz couldn’t do it, she was pregnant.

I hadn’t decided how I was going to do it yet, but I think it would be better for me if I got to kill him with my Kamas, and take his throat out and let him bleed to death. I didn’t want it to be quick, I got up and came forward and Alpha Monty was escorted outside, as all of the deaths were completed outside.

I see him give Luna Liz a look and then look at her pregnant belly in surprise. Jason put his arm around her, to let Monty know who she was with now.

I got my Kamas from underneath the stroller that I was pushing and left both babies in their strollers and facing their father, and not what was about to happen.

This was going to be closure for me, for him taking me, his Alpha command for Derek to not play with me and to hurt me for talking to him, as all the bullying and assaults I suffered at Red River.

Former Alpha Monty was uncuffed and he stood there with an amused look on his face and said, “What, am I supposed to be scared of you with those stupid sticks? You don’t scare me at all little girl, you are that same scared girl, who got tuned up every day at Red River. You’re welcome, I gave Heather free reign to do that to you.

I saw what she did to your back and knew that she would be the one to do to you what you deserved. I only wish Jack had been successful in his attempts to get you”.

I approached him with a smile. “You have made this so much easier on me,” I said, and I pivoted quickly on the ball of my foot and did a strike across his neck on his left-hand side.

While he was still standing there surprised, I spun back the other way and cut his neck on his right-hand side and watched as he dropped to his knees onto the ground as he tried to cover the cuts with his hands. He was already dead, he just didn’t know it yet, as he fell forward onto the ground.

I had quickly moved each time, and I think I may have got away with not getting b***d on me, and I checked out my outfit. Everyone was standing there with their mouths open at me, except Heath and Von. They have already seen me in action.

I didn’t want him to have it easy as shooting him would be, I wanted him to know he was going to die and have a minute to think about it. We went back into the courthouse for the Lowells to be sentenced.

The Lowells all entered together, and I see that Piper looks just like her mother. I see Alpha Lowell glaring at me, and I remember that he blames me for this, as Hudson shot him out of the tree, but with the bulletproof jacket on, he wasn’t really hurt, and I took him down in a chokehold.

Piper is glaring at me and then Derek, and then at Marie, seems like she did have some sort of feelings for Derek, just not big feelings as she slept with Jack on the daily.

She was a real piece of work. Their sentence was death as well, and I was proud of Marie for smiling at them all when it was readout. They caused a lot of deaths and plotted more, including Alpha deaths. That in itself was worthy of a death sentence.

Alpha Lowell had a good plan, he just didn’t execute it well. Luna Lowell was an accomplice, as she knew about the plan and didn’t tell anyone what they were doing, so she was complicit in it.

Piper had an active part and was going to carry out the Alpha deaths, that her father had planned so she was sentenced to death as well. I think them staying in prison for the rest of their lives, would have been a better punishment, as they looked terrible, and they knew it. They had been used to the finer things, and that had all been taken away from them. That was the true justice.

Derek stood up as a volunteer to kill Alpha Lowell, and Marie stood up to kill Piper, I decided that I would help them out with Luna Lowell, so I stood up again to volunteer.

We all went outside again, and Derek immediately shifted and ripped Alpha Lowell’s head from his body. Marie approached Piper, who gave her a smirk and said, “Enjoying my leftovers?”.

“I am actually, Derek is wonderful, and we will be having a baby soon. We are both really excited about it, so actually, you lose, and we win” Marie told her and shifted her hand into her claws and cut Piper’s neck on the side, and the b***d flowed down Piper’s body as each heartbeat pumped out her b***d even as she tried to hold her neck.

I just used my gun to quickly take former Luna Lowell out, as didn’t feel like stringing this along, as she was frightened enough, she just wasn’t strong enough to keep her family from making their devious plans.
