Return Of The Prodigy
Return of the Prodigy Chapter 27

Robert, the head of the Byron family!

Everyone present knew him, but what was Robert doing? He actually ran up to that country bumpkin to apologize? And he even used the term "Sir" (a polite form of "you")? No way!

Could that country bumpkin be some big shot? But looking at his attire, was it possible?

People shook their heads one after another; this was impossible! How could someone like him be a big shot?

"Mr. Byron, what are you doing?" Eva asked.

"Shut up!" Robert suddenly turned around and roared, his eyes emitting a fierce gaze, as if he wanted to tear Jackson apart like a wild beast.

"Eva, I advise you to apologize to Mr. Drake immediately, or no one can save you." Robert threatened.

Eva was shocked and sneered the next second, "Alright, so Robert, you're here to help him. I see this country bumpkin dared to challenge me, and he even dares to compare status with me!" "But, Robert, you've chosen the wrong person today. Even if others fear you, I, Eva, don't. If you want me to apologize to him? No way!"

Robert's eyes narrowed, and he roared, "Jackson, you better know your place, or you'll regret it."

Eva laughed heartily, "Robert, have you gone senile? Just based on you? Are you really going to war with my Crawford family for this country bumpkin?"

"Even if we go to war, is my Crawford family afraid of you?"

Robert cursed inwardly at this idiot, angrily laughing, "Fine, fine, Eva, you're impressive, your Crawford family is formidable, but today, if you persist in your wrongdoings, no one can save you!"

"My Byron family may not have that strength, but someone else does!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a loud rumbling sound came from above, and everyone looked up. Two helicopters were slowly descending.

A few minutes later, an old man with snowy white hair, leaning on a dragon-headed cane, walked into the scene. He walked unsteadily but urgently, and a man and a woman behind him shouted anxiously, "Grandpa, take it easy." The old man paid no attention, walking faster. Everyone at the scene was stunned and quickly made way.

Everyone was at a loss for words, until someone suddenly mused, "Damn, am I hallucinating? Isn't that Mr. Hamilton?"

"Mr. Hamilton? Which Mr. Hamilton?"

"Idiot, who could it be if not Andrew Hamilton, the President of the Chamber of Commerce back in the capital! How many other Hamiltons do you know?"

"Wait, did you say back in the capital? Are you talking about the Hamiltons? The richest family in the capital?"

Everyone was shocked. They quickly stepped back to make way for the old man.

Andrew Hamilton marched toward Adam. Along the way, his legs gave in, almost causing him to trip.

Adam hurried to support him. "Mr. Hamilton, I hope you've been well since our last meeting."

Mr. Hamilton's voice trembled as he said, "Is it you? Is it really you who's back?"

Adam nodded and said, "Mr. Hamilton, now is not the time for reminiscing. I'll come to visit you later."

In an instant, tears streamed down Mr. Hamilton's face uncontrollably, and he nodded repeatedly, saying, "Good, good, I'll be waiting then..."

After saying this, Mr. Hamilton turned around and looked at the people present, finally fixing his icy gaze on Jackson.

"Lisle's businessmen and businesswomen sure are impressive. I see that you have no problems banding together to bully the average citizen!"

A cold snort, and everyone at the scene instantly broke out in cold sweat.

"Chet!"

The young man who followed Mr. Hamilton immediately stepped forward, "Grandpa, I'm here."

Mr. Hamilton said indifferently, "Everyone present, one by one, investigate their families, companies, and take them all in."

"Hmm." The young man nodded indifferently.

As soon as these words were spoken, the scene instantly exploded. The parents of the students, who had no time to think about what had happened, fled in a panic. "Mr. Hamilton, what's happening has no relationship with me, none whatsoever!"

"Mr. Hamilton, I was only here to pick up my son!"

"I was just passing by, Mr. Hamilton!"

They were so arrogant just moments ago. Yet, they were now begging for forgiveness.

In the blink of an eye, all the people siding with Eva disappeared. Only she and her brother were left.

Eva and Jackson were terrified, myriad thoughts flashing through their minds.

Does that wretch know Mr. Hamilton?

Mr. Hamilton came all the way here to help him?

Even with a fast car, Lisle is still one and a half hours of drive from the capital. Yet, Mr. Hamilton was in such a hurry that he chose a helicopter ride... No, this doesn't make sense!

That guy was supposed to be a useless wretch! How is this possible?!

Eva and Jackson wanted to scream out loud. However, their bodies were frozen in fear, and they did not manage to utter a single word.

Robert Byron did not have the power to deal with the Crawfords, but Andrew Hamilton was an entirely different beast. He needed but a word to end their family.

The disparity between them was so vast that it was hard to describe with mere words.

In short, the Crawfords were not even worth mentioning in front of Andrew Hamilton.

After thinking of the consequences, dread filled their hearts. In the end, both Eva and Jackson kneeled on the ground and pleaded, "Mr. Hamilton, it's all a misunderstanding..."

However, it seemed that this matter was not over just yet. Other cars such as Volkswagens and Audis sped toward the kindergarten's gate. Despite the cars not being so high-profile, the people alighting from them definitely were, as they were all members of the local government.

In a short period of time, half of Lisle's local government was gathered at Klosterhaus Kindergarten.

All the politicians walked up to Andrew Hamilton, greeting him warmly.

Eva was so scared that she was rooted to the spot, her face as white as a sheet of paper.

She knew that the Crawfords were done for.

Matilda also arrived at the kindergarten to pick up her son. She parked the car far away and then walked toward the entrance.

"Oh my God, is some big shot picking up their child today? The parking lot was full, and half of Lisle's businessmen and businesswomen seemed to be here. There's even a helicopter!"

"So impressive! I don't know which big shot it is, making such a big fuss just to pick up a child. If my Hartleys had half of his power, that would be great!"

Matilda's eyes were full of envy, then she squeezed through the crowd and approached to witness the grandeur of the big shot.

Suddenly, her eyes widened, and she rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

Is that Adam Long and Katie?

What are they doing here? Are they also here to see the big shot?

Heh heh!

They are really a family of lunatics. With their status, they can never achieve one-tenth of the stature of this big shot. They can only come to take a look and satisfy their eyes! Is it useful?
