Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 780 Julien Got Angry

If it was Julien's phone...

Shareholders exchanged glances with each other, and subtle smiles were in their eyes. If it really was Julien's phone buzzing, he would have embarrassed himself.

They had never seen Julien embarrass himself before. Julien had always been a disciplined man. He never made any mistakes. It was very hard to witness his error. But today, Julien might have broken his principles, so the shareholders were secretly looking forward to seeing if it was Julien's phone. If it was, it was such a rare occurrence.

The shareholders were all excited inside.

Julien ignored the various expressions on the faces. He turned on his phone. When he saw the messages on the screen, there was a subtle twitch at the corner of his mouth. Whoops, it really was his phone.

A moment ago, he had questioned the shareholders, but now, it seemed he had made himself a joke.

It was Sydney who texted him. If it had been anyone else, Julien would have torn him apart. But how could he blame Sydney?

Julien rubbed his eyebrows. Then he turned off his phone. He didn't check the messages.

He knew Sydney wouldn't send him idle messages while he was in a meeting. She must have something serious to tell him, but it wasn't urgent. Otherwise she would have called him.

Therefore, Julien decided to focus on the meeting first and check the messages later. He put down his phone without saying anything and picked up the laser pointer and walked calmly toward the big screen. He didn't show any emotion on his face, as if he wasn't embarrassed at all.

In short, he had put it behind him. The shareholders glanced at each other.

They didn't know what was going through Julien's mind. After he checked his phone, he nonchalantly put it down as if nothing had happened. The shareholders were all surprised.

'What's going on?'

When Julien checked his phone, the expression on his face clearly showed it was indeed his phone buzzing.

'But how does Mr. Flint look as if nothing has happened?'

Well, since Julien was not embarrassed, the shareholders had no show to watch.

They glanced at each other again. Now, only numbness was in their eyes.

The shareholders were disappointed. Even if Julien embarrassed himself, he wouldn't let them see it.

What a pity! They had thought that today they would...

The shareholders shook their heads with pity.

"Let's continue." Looking at the sullen faces of the shareholders, Julien knew what they were expecting. But he ignored them.

There were so many people waiting for a chance to laugh at him, but no one ever got the chance.

After almost four hours, the meeting finally ended.

The shareholders gathered up the materials and left the conference room.

They were happy. Julien had made a decision during the meeting. Once the decision was carried out, it would definitely be profitable, and the shareholders would receive a dividend. Therefore, all the shareholders were satisfied. When they left, they all had smiles on their faces.

Julien did not leave the conference room immediately. He sat down in a chair to rest his stiff legs.

For the past four hours, he had basically been standing and talking all the time. He had been introducing a project to the shareholders. Now his throat was sore and dry.

He took a sip of the coffee that had turned cold. Then he picked up his phone and checked the messages from Sydney.

After he finished reading the messages, his face darkened. He pounced up from his chair and called out, "Zach!"

His voice was not loud, but it sounded frightening.

Hearing Julien's call, Zach came into the conference room immediately. "Mr. Flint, what's the matter?" Looking at Julien's gloomy face and fierce eyes, Zach understood that something bad had happened.

Julien didn't say anything, but handed Zach his cell phone.

Zach took the phone with confusion, and then he saw the name 'Leaf'.

He raised his eyebrows. He wondered why Julien was showing him Sydney's messages.

'Is Mr. Flint trying to show off? If he is...'

Zach forced a smile. If that was the case, he had to read the messages anyway. He couldn't throw the phone away.

As Zach was wondering, he read Sydney's messages.

He had thought they were intimate conversations between Julien and Sydney, but to his surprise, in the messages, Sydney said someone had trespassed in Julien's office and rummaged through the files. "Mr. Flint..." Zach's face turned pale. He turned to Julien with anxious eyes.

No wonder Julien was so angry. Zach had thought Julien had a quarrel with Sydney, but the messages really surprised him.

"It was Fabian," Julien spat.

Zach handed the phone back to Julien. "He still has intentions."

Julien sneered, "He thinks he's a senior shareholder of the company, and he wants to be in charge. He's not content to be an idle shareholder, but wants to be involved in the company's decisions. He wanted to benefit his family. That project plan was the only thing that could help him gain power. Of course, he won't give it up."

"You're right." Zach nodded, "But there is something wrong with that project, or you wouldn't have let it stay in your drawer for so long. It is, after all, a ten-billion-dollar project."

"But Fabian couldn't see the problem. He thought I was stupid, so he brought up the project to me again and again. He wanted me to put that project in his hands. He thought that if he accomplished the project right, the other shareholders and I couldn't object to giving him some authority, because he would have made a profit for the company. But did he think I was so stupid to see the money delivered to my eyes and ignore it? If the project is really so good, why don't I execute it?" Julien hissed.

Zach sighed, "Yes, there were too many problems with the project, and it involved too many government departments. If anything goes wrong, the whole company will be affected. I can't believe Mr. Malone has someone sneak into your office to look for it. He..."

Zach didn't finish his sentence, but his point was clear...

'Mr. Malone was so stupid...'

'He totally offended Mr. Flint!'

'He's finished.'

"Let's go to my office!" Julien grabbed his phone and strode out of the conference room.

He had to hurry back to his office to see Sydney.

Sydney was alone in his office when Fabian's man entered his office. She should be terrified.

The thought that Sydney might be scared made Julien tense up. His heart thumped.

Soon, Julien returned to his office and rushed in before Zach could open the door for him.

"Leaf..." Before Julien said anything, he saw Sydney asleep on the couch, and immediately, he shut up.

Seeing Julien stopped in his tracks, Zach asked with confusion, "Mr. Flint, what's wrong?"

Julien raised his hand and said in a muffled voice, "Nothing. Go check the surveillance and replace out who Fabian sent into my office."

"Yes." Zach responded. Then he left.

Julien closed the office door and walked quietly toward the couch.
