Julien walked not only lightly but also slowly because he was afraid to wake up the woman on the couch.

It took him nearly a minute to take just more than twenty steps. His gentle love for her was so moving.

When he came to the couch, he squatted down slightly and stared at Sydney.

Sydney lay on her side on the couch, sleeping soundly. Her hands were folded under her head as a pillow, and her legs were curled up slightly.

It was probably a little cold, so she shivered occasionally.

Seeing this, Julien got up and went to his desk. Then he picked up the remote control of the air conditioner and turned up the heat.

After doing this, he went to his lounge and took out a thick blanket to cover Sydney for fear that she might catch a cold.

Julien knew that Sydney would not wake up for a while, so he didn't stay much longer by the couch. After he had put the hair on her face behind her ear, he got up and went to his desk. He planned to deal with the papers and waited for her to wake up.

When Sydney woke up, it was already three o'clock in the afternoon. She was so hungry that her stomach grumbled.

She opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was a luxurious coffee table.

At first, she was a little confused and didn't know where she was.

Then when she saw the black tea on the coffee table, she realized that she was in Julien's office.

She remembered that she had sent a message to Julien and sat on the couch at that time. Unexpectedly, she actually fell asleep.

Sydney didn't know how long she had slept, so she wanted to take out her cell phone to check the time. As soon as she moved her hand, something fell from her body and then fell onto the floor. "Eh?" Sydney looked down and found that it was a blanket!

'Why do I have a blanket on me?'

She remembered that there was nothing on her body before she fell asleep, so someone must have put the blanket on her. Moreover, she had locked the door of Julien's office, so there was only one person who could come in and put a blanket on her.

'The owner of this office, Julien!

'Does he come back from the meeting?'

Thinking about this, Sydney immediately stood up, picked up the blanket on the floor, and turned around to look for Julien.

However, she didn't see Julien.

'He didn't come back? Or he left again?'

Sydney lowered her eyelids, feeling upset.

Suddenly, there was the sound of a window opening in the direction behind her.

Sydney froze at first, then immediately threw away the blanket, and turned around abruptly.

Julien came in from the balcony with his cell phone, closing the balcony door and whispering something to the other end of the phone. He had not found that she was awake and was looking at him. Sydney's eyes were full of happiness, and there was a bright smile on her face.

'Great, he's really back, and he didn't leave. He was just making a phone call on the balcony.

'It's so cold on the balcony, but he chose to make the call on the balcony. Obviously, he didn't want to wake me up.

'Such a stupid man!'

Sydney took a breath and shouted at him softly, who was standing in front of the French windows. "Julien!"

Julien was stunned for a moment. The next second, he took the phone away from his ear and turned to look at Sydney. Sydney stood there, smiling at him brightly and beautifully.

Julien's pupils contracted slightly and soon returned to normal, but there was still a trace of gentleness in his eyes.

He raised his hand and waved to her to show that he had heard it. Then he put the phone to his ear, said a few words, and hung up the phone before walking quickly towards her.

When there were only a few steps between them, Sydney suddenly reached out her hand. "Don't move!"

Julien subconsciously stopped, "What's wrong?"

"You've taken so many steps." Sydney put her hand down. Under his puzzled gaze, she smiled and said, "Good relationship has two-way love. You have taken so many steps towards me, so please let me take the remaining steps and come close to you."

After saying that, she lifted her foot and walked forward.

Julien knew what she meant, so he smiled and waited.

He liked the word 'two-way love.'

Sydney came to Julien and looked up at him for a while. Then she opened her arms, took the initiative to hug him, and pressed her face against his chest.

"Don't hug me. I just came in from outside. It's raining and windy outside. I'm cold all over. If you hold me like this, you'll catch a cold."

As Julien spoke, he pushed her gently for fear that she would fall or feel pain.

However, Sydney still hugged him tightly and refused to let him go. She smiled and said, "I don't care, it's warm here. It's not cold to me. I won't catch a cold. Don't worry!" In order to convince him, she raised her head and winked at him seriously.

Her eyes were big and a little round, and her pupils were big and black. When she looked up at him, he found her eyes were particularly clear and charming.

Julien knew a long time ago that her eyes were very attractive, but even if he had seen her eyes so many times, he couldn't help being attracted by her eyes. Her eyes were so sincere at the moment that his heart unconsciously softened and that he wanted to give everything to her.

"Ahem." Julien clenched his fist and coughed. Then he looked away and said in a slightly hoarse voice, "If you catch a cold, you can't blame me." 'It's you who insist on holding me.'

He was happy that she took the initiative to get close to him.

"Okay, I won't blame you." Sydney smiled and nodded.

Julien looked down at her tenderly. "When did you wake up?"

"I just woke up and was about to look for you when I saw you come in." Sydney smiled, "I think we are connected."

"Of course we have." Julien nodded, put his arms around her waist, and took her back to the couch. "Are you hungry?"

Sydney looked down at her belly, and her face turned a little red. "I'm a little hungry. What time is it?"

"Three o'clock in the afternoon." Julien raised his hand and looked at his watch before replying. Sydney exclaimed, "Three o'clock?"

"Hmm."

Sydney's mouth twitched. "I can't believe I slept for so long."

She had looked at the time specially before she fell asleep.

She had just wanted to take a nap, but she actually slept for three hours.

No wonder she felt so hungry.

"Not very long." Julien chuckled, then took out his cell phone, and called Zach while asking Sydney, "What do you want to eat?"

"I want to eat seafood." Sydney replied.

Somehow, she wanted to eat seafood so much that she can't help drooling.

Julien nodded dotingly and told Zach on the phone, "Did you hear that? Order two seafood meals."

"Yes, Sir." Zach replied.

Sydney looked at him in surprise. "Two? You haven't had lunch yet, have you?"

Julien didn't say anything.

Sydney asked. "Why don't you eat? It's afternoon now. Have you been busy until now?"

Julien shook his head. "No."

"Then why?" Sydney frowned and looked at him with a little unhappy face. Watching his serious face and bright eyes, she suddenly realized something and opened her mouth. "Are you waiting for me?"
