Sky’s Rejection Chapter 37

(Sky’s POV)

I hear voices screaming around me.

“FIX THIS NOW.” Ty’s booming voice echoed inside the room.

“Sh… She’s Go… o… ne?” Ariel stammered, I heard as her voice broke and she could barely get the words out.

I need to wake up, I need to make them all calm down. Did I pass out?

“Dean, I will kill you. Where is she? Stop f*****g around and tell me where she has gone. Her body isn’t moving.” Dimitri exclaims, a growl leaving his lips every few words and I could tell Demon wanted out.

I hear weeping echoing in my ears.

Wondering what could be going on to be hearing all of this. I try hard to pull my eyes open. I fight the heavy lids, trying to pull myself out of this. When I finally get my eyes open, the bright white lights harass my eyes, making me close them as fast as I could. I can do this.

‘We can do this.’ Angel whispers inside my head. She is back, wait. That means…

‘Welcome back.’ Rain said with a smirk in my head. I missed you two so much. You have no idea how sad I was and how alone I felt, I thought back as a single tear rolled down my cheek. I never want to leave these two again.

‘We missed you too.’ Rain said getting as emotional as me.

‘Focus on getting up and stopping the chaos from breaking out.’ Angel said in urgency. She is right. I need to get up. I can’t believe I am back in my body. Wait, our mate.

I got excited thinking about Dimitri.

I heard a loud bang, as it sounded like something, or someone crashed into the wall. I need to hurry.

I jumped out of bed, slipping slightly as I lose my balance. I grab onto whatever is closest to me and make myself stable. I can’t see anything, as my vision is blurred from the sudden movement I decided to do. I obviously didn’t think this through. I couldn’t see what I was holding onto, but I knew exactly who it was, by the heat spreading through me and the shocks prickling my skin. Dimitri.

I just realized all the noise around me had suddenly stopped, within seconds I am wrapped in my mate’s arms and slowly engulfed in my mate’s pineapple, cherry and mint scent, making my body relax into him.

“I missed you.” I whispered as I laid my head against Dimitri’s naked chest. Feeling his chest hairs tickle my nose and the plains of his muscles moving beneath me as he tightened his hold around me. His sweat glistened on his skin. He looked as if he just worked out, but I knew it was from the stress and panic, from always trying to keep Demon away. As my legs decided to slowly give out, Dimitri scoops his one arm under my knees as his other arm supports my back, keeping my head against his chest.

‘Mate.’ Angel purrs in delight as I feel her connect to Demon, causing a g***n to vibrate through my mate’s chest. That was sexy as hell.

‘Give us a piece of that meat.’ Rain says as she whistles in appreciation.

These two are too much, though I wouldn’t trade them for the world after losing them for that long. I couldn’t imagine life without them, and I felt empty, incomplete when I couldn’t feel their presence or talk to them. I will never take either of them for granted again.

“I have waited so long to hear you say that Sky.” Dimitri’s husky voice whispered into my ear as I watched an amused smirk plaster across his face. A shiver shot down my spine, as I felt heat pool in my stomach. I want him forever.

I stare at him in wonder, wishing to know every little detail about my mate. I want to explore every inch of his perfectly sculpted body. I never want to be away from them again.

“Sky?” Ty asked slowly as he began to approach us. I diverted my gaze to him. The pain and worry contorted all over his face makes my heart twist. I hurt him. He tries to keep this façade of not caring and stone hearted, but I see it. I feel the emotions radiating off him. If his emotions become too strong, he can’t hold it in.

“Oh, thank the goddess.” Ariel exclaims as she hiccups because of sobbing harshly. “You are back, I don’t know what I would have done if you didn’t come back. Who would have been our little pups Godmother, mhm?”

You could hear the worry she felt slowly turning into anger. I swear these pregnancy hormones are going to give me whip lash.

“I am fine Ariel and thank you for considering me to be your pups’ godmother.” I said calmly as I tried to sooth her with the tone of my voice. She slowly relaxed into Mark, and I wondered if she ever felt like she was on a roller coaster with the way her emotions change so quickly. I hope I am never like that. Thinking that thought brought me down, for a split second I forgot that I can not have any pups of my own. Though would I have changed my mind just to have a pup of my own?

‘No, you wouldn’t have. That’s who you are.’ Angel says softly. I know she wants a pup, but she would have made the same choice as me. She would never sacrifice a life for the sake of our own wants.

‘No matter what decision you make we are behind you. Now can we have alone time with mate?’ Rain asks with a smirk.

That horny little witch. I roll my eyes internally, amused with my counter parts.

I realized everyone was in here and Dean was panting on the ground, against the wall. His hand holding his throat as he tries to regulate his breath. What happen to him? Is that the noise I heard? All of a sudden, I realize exactly what happened and I knew it had to do with my mate. Why would he do something like this? Did he not think I would be upset when I found out?

I turn my attention back to Dimitri, smacking his chest lightly. I didn’t realize how weak I feel, as if my limbs are jell – o or something. Dimitri deserved to be smacked so much harder.

‘You can after we rest for a couple of days.’ Rain comments in my head.

“What was that for?” Dimitri chuckled in amusement.

“What did you do to him?” I said as sternly as my weak body would allow as I weakly pointed towards Dean. Dimitri glanced over to where I was pointing, as his eyes widened in shock. Mhm. That is exactly what I thought.

“Sky, I was upset and trying to keep my emotions away and Demon under control. I didn’t mean to…” Dimitri stumbles over his words, as panic ran through his expression.

“Dimitri, what did you do?” I said sternly, staring deep into his eyes.

Dimitri sighed, slowly giving in, “I exploded after Dean couldn’t hear you any longer. We all thought you died. I freaked out, I could barely hold Demon back and he wrapped our hands around Dean’s neck, holding him tightly against the wall and demanding he bring you back. Thinking about it now, I knew he didn’t have a choice in what had happened.”

“Apologize.” I simply said, snuggling back into his chest, as I feel all my energy slowly draining from myself. I watched as Dimitri starred at me as if I was born with three heads. “I do not care who you are Dimitri. You were in the wrong, so apologize. NOW.”

He quickly turned towards Dean, “I am sorry. I shouldn’t have done that to you, and I should have controlled myself better. Do you forgive me?”

Dean started to uncontrollably laugh, as he clutched his stomach. “I am not so sure Royal Alpha, you really hurt my feelings.” I turned towards Dean, glaring intensely at him. Dean gulped as the laughter suddenly died down, causing everyone around us to snicker as silently as they could. “It’s all good Di, thanks.”

Finally.

Instantly, Dimitri looked down at me, I watched as Demon glistened behind his eyes. Telling me they were both present. I allowed Rain and Angel to sit up front with me and I saw as Dimitri’s lips pulled at the corner, causing a smirk to plaster on his face. He slowly leaned down, pressing his hot, wet lips against mine. The k**s was soft and delicate at first, but slowly became more intense with the sparks lighting our way, each k**s laced with so much passion, longing and then some. The intensity pulling a slight m**n from my lips, being muffled between us. I felt him lay me on the bed, as his hands started to trail down the sides of my h**s, as he pushed his body flush against me, as he joined me on the bed. He smirked slightly as I gasped, causing him to take this opportunity to plunge his tongue into my mouth. Holy s**t, I have never felt a pleasure like this before. Our tongues danced together as a fire was lit in my mouth.

‘This is the best first k**s EVER.’ Angel screams in my head, making me lose the focus of our k**s.

‘Shhh, this is amazing.’ Rain says in a dreamy voice.

His lips left my mouth, trailing to my jaw line, as his path followed down to my neck and stopping where his mark will be carved into my skin, always on display. His hot breath fanned over my ears after trailing back up. “Tu es à moi.” He whispered before nipping at my ear and my breath hitched.

Most werewolves are fluent in at least three languages. I am so thankful currently, that one of the languages I know is French. The emotion that tagged with his words, made my heart fluttered. As I repeat the words repeatedly in my head. You. Are. Mine.

I place a k**s on the soft spot between his collarbone and neck, where my mark will forever lie before whispering, “Pour toujours et un jour, amour.” (Forever and a day, love.)

His icy blue eyes snapped to my face, peering deeply into my violet eyes. Love and adoration shining deep in those beautiful, endless depths. He leaned in; my eyes purely focused on his glistening light pink lips. I watch as his eyes closed. My eyes shuttered on their own occurred. We were so close that our lips were lightly brushing, sparks vibrating on my swollen lips, as tingles shot up my spine. His minty breath fanned my face, drawing me in even more. I couldn’t take this teasing anymore, the impatience in me getting the best of me, as I pushes my lips into his, tasting the mint I craved so much. He patiently kissed me back as his arms snaked behind my back, pulling flush against me as I now hoovered slightly off the bed. I trailed my hands slowly and carefully up into his black hair, noting how soft it felt under my hands.

‘I don’t think I will ever get enough of this euphoric feeling his lips are making me feel.’ Rain said in happiness, she seemed content to be with our mate.

‘We feel, Rain. He makes us feel perfect, respected, loved, like the only person that matters in his eyes. The feelings are overwhelming, but I never want to come down from the high his presence gives me, us.’ Angel says in adoration. She has always wanted to have a mate and now finally having one makes her content.

I was getting beyond tired and struggling to stay with my mate, here, instead of entering a peaceful sleep. Angel, Rain and I were fighting everything inside just to k**s our mate for even a second longer.

(Dimitri’s POV)

Kissing Sky, feeling her body against me, seeing the reactions I caused in her, were nothing like I had imagined. They were more. It confirmed every piece of what I was told about the mate bond, it confirmed that my mate wasn’t emotionless, and she had the same feelings for me as I had for her. I bit her body l*p gently, receiving a soft m**n in response. I gently requested entrance into her sweet mouth with my tongue and she accepted. My ran my tongue through her entire mouth, performing the tango with our tongues. My focus mostly on the sweet sugary taste that coated her beautiful mouth. I could feel the energy from my mate draining. I knew I needed to stop but I was already so addicted to her I never wanted to let her go.

‘I love mate, let’s mate her. I want our mark to be displayed on her.’ Demon whined as he jumped around in my head. We need to let her rest first I thought back to him before pushing him slowly back.

I release her mouth looking down at her in a loving way. She looked up at me, slightly hazy. Between the deep gasps of breaths, she took to catch her breath, the tiredness of everything she’s been through and the intensity of our mate bond. You could tell she was ready to fall asleep. I kissed her forehead when I realized that everyone was still standing in the room, with no care that we were just bonding. “Dors, mon amour.” (Sleep, my love.)

I waited till she nodded off to sleep, hearing her heartbeat even out and her breathing shallow, I knew she was in a deep sleep. As I stood up, the door open, “Wait.” Mother yelled, annoying me and Demon. We held up a hand, preventing her from saying anything else before turning towards Sky to make sure she was still out cold.

When I knew we were fine I turned back towards everyone in the room, “OUT NOW. EVERYONE IN MY OFFICE NOW.” I gritted out between clenched teeth, trying to stay as quiet as my stern voice would allow. Everyone nodded and headed out the door, as I followed behind them. Time to get some answers before Sky wakes back up.
