After coming to his senses, Dwayne quickly pulled out his phone.

“Yes. I saved a copy in the Cloud.”

“Send it to me.”

Dwayne nodded and began fiddling with his phone.

Ding!

Justin gazed at the screen once his computer beeped. The next moment, he directly asked Dwayne toleave, “You're not needed now. Please leave.”

Dwayne cussed before grabbing the fruit basket on the side and leaving Justin alone.

Meanwhile, Justin opened the folder and glanced at it. He furrowed his brows as soon as he read thedata on the second page.

Wait a minute! Something's wrong with the paternity test's data.

As the Luther family's private doctor, Justin had a photographic memory and remembered most of theDNA sequences of all members of the Luther family.

He confirmed that the data didn't belong to Simon's DNA sequence.

Could it be that... the blood sample was mixed up? However, it's rather unlikely!

Artemis told him before that Maxton did steal Simon's blood sample from the blood bank. Also, Zayronand Edmund were confirmed to be relatives. As such, they didn't question the paternity results backthen.

As Justin flipped the pages, he realized that the data matched Artemis' DNA sequence.

In other words...

Justin rubbed his eyebrows.

My goodness. Can anyone explain to me what is going on?

“Impossible. Zayron cannot be Artemis' son. Since Artemis only slept with one woman his whole life,how could he have a son outside of that relationship? Something must be wrong with the data.Furthermore, since they're brothers, it's normal that their DNA sequence resembles one another.”

With that, he grabbed the phone on his table and called Dwayne.

Dwayne said mischievously as soon as he picked up the phone. “What's up? Do you miss me already,not long after we've separated?”

“Cut the cr*p. I have a question—have you found the contact number of the young man called Kai?”

“Why do you ask? Are you interested in a certain someone's nephew? I'd suggest that you courtVeronique. She is a competent woman and has become a surgical expert at a young age. Three years

ago, she was invited to Eskaria. Even though she wasn't the one who cured the king, her abilities arenot to be underestimated.”

Justin wasn't interested in listening to the nonsense, for his mind was occupied with the data of thepaternity test. After a while, he got annoyed and shouted, “Shut the h*ll up! Just give the young man'scontact number to me now! I have something urgent and need to speak with him.”

“All right. I was just joking. Why are you so angry?”

With that, Dwayne hung up.

Soon, a phone number appeared on Justin's phone screen.

Justin dialed the number and realized that it was no longer available.

Apparently, the young man had set his phone to block unknown callers.

Under current circumstances, Justin thought he couldn't propose to redo the paternity test, or theLuther family would fall into the eye of the storm.

Moreover, he didn't believe that Zayron was Artemis' biological son.

Over the years, Artemis only slept with Rhonda and had a son, Maxton. He wouldn't possibly haveanother son except for Maxton.

After pondering about it, Justin believed the likeliest explanation would be that Kai made somedeliberate mistakes when carrying out the DNA analysis. Hence, he had to obtain the complete data

from Kai and compare it with the results in the report.

A brief silence later, he decided to call Veronique.

Once Justin got through to Veronique, he asked, “Ms. Veronique, I have some urgent matters and needto speak with you. Are you free to meet now?”

Veronique fell silent for a moment before answering, “Well, I want to ask you some questions about OldMr. Chivers' condition too. Let's meet up at Sugar and Spice Café an hour later.”

“Sure.”

Meanwhile, Jessica and Rhonda were seated by the window in a café's private room, discussing waysto go against Bailey.

Rhonda said, “Bailey will be kicked out of the company's board of directors by the board members if wecan sabotage the new brand launch. I assure you—her position will be yours as long as she vanishesfrom Hallsbay.”

Jessica sneered and replied disdainfully, “Ms. Rhonda, you're indeed good at making use of others.You used Felicity and Caridee before but still failed to bring Bailey down. Now, you're using me to getthe unfinished task done. Oh, not forgetting Janice, who lost her job because of you. We are only yourtools to go against Bailey, and most of us have to pay the price later. I have to admit you are an expertat playing your cards right!”

Rhonda flashed Jessica a graceful smile, patted the back of her hand, and comforted her, “We're onthe same side now. In other words, we share the same glory and humiliation. Rest assured that you

won't go against Bailey alone, for I'll go all-out to assist you.”

“Is that so?” Jessica narrowed her eyes and warned fiercely, “Rhonda, you'd better not play tricks withme, or I'll expose the shocking secret you've kept buried for seven years.”

Although the smile on her face remained, Rhonda had clenched her fist on her lap.

Curse her! I should've killed the director of the obstetrics and gynecology department back then to burythe secret forever. Jessica wouldn't have been able to threaten me today if I had done that.

About two days ago, Jessica suddenly visited Rhonda and asked if she knew a doctor by the name ofYuna.

Rhonda almost fell from her chair upon hearing the name.

Yuna was the director of the obstetrics and gynecology department who stole Bailey's son for her backthen.

Rhonda didn't expect Yuna would be in Jessica's hands seven years later.

According to Jessica, Yuna became the family doctor of the Tanners after she went overseas. Not longago, the Tanner family wanted to send her to the police station because she had committed a crime.

In the end, Yuna had to reveal the shocking secret that happened seven years ago in exchange forlighter punishments.

“Jessica, I know you're a trustworthy person and won't expose the secret once you've made me a

promise. No worries. I won't back out this time. I'll not get any peace as long as Bailey is still alive.”

Jessica snorted coldly.

I had to gauge Rhonda's feelings back then, but now... Humph! She's merely an imposter. I'll keep it asecret for her as long as I'm pleased. If she ever provokes me, she will experience the feeling of fallingfrom heaven to hell.

“I'll forget what happened seven years ago as long as you can help me retake my position as the leaddesigner.”

Rhonda nodded smilingly. “Thank you, Jessica.”

Although she said so, a cold and murderous look flashed across her eyes.
