Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love -
Chapter 105 Live A Good Life
Caspar looked sincere as he stared up at her, but Nancy knew what he was thinking.
He was just afraid that Jill and Clark wouldn't be able to persuade her. That was why he came here in person. He just wanted to look like he was sincere.
She wasn't a fool.
"I don't love you anymore," Nancy spat out.
"You're lying. We grew up together. How could you stop loving me? Look, I know that you lied to me and that you hate me, but the last thing you should do is to lie to yourself. It would just be unfair for the both of us." Caspar sighed, handing her a bouquet of roses. "This is for you."
She sneered at the sight of them. Did he really think he could go ahead and buy her love? "Fuck off. I've already told you that you're nothing to me now. In fact, you're already married. All I can do is wish that you and Fannie can live a happy life."
"How can I even live without you? I love you!" Knowing that he couldn't convince her, he stood up and grabbed her wrist.
Nancy immediately struggled against his grip as her face darkened intensely. "Let me go, bastard!"
she snarled. However, no matter how much she tried, she just couldn't get him to let go.
"If you don't love me, then who do you love then? Ethan? Charles?" He held the woman in his arms. In fact, he was already leaning in.
"I love Charles. I don't love you anymore. Please!" she yelled out.
"Do you think I care? I'm only here for a good time. We've been together for so many years, and you never let me touch you. Now, I learned that you had a baby with some other man.
It turns out that the Virgin Mary I thought I knew didn't even exist in the first place." He sneered, leaning against her. The scent of alcohol entered her nostrils, and she had to restrain herself from vomiting. Nancy shut her eyes as she feared for the worse.
Once the bidding war was over, Charles handed over the documents for Jay to handle and headed to the hospital in the hurry.
As he walked out of the elevator, he could hear Nancy's scream echoing from the ward. Furrowing his eyebrows anxiously, Charles gritted his teeth as he tried to get there faster.
When he reached the ward, he pushed the door open.
The sight that had greeted him made his blood boil.
Caspar was trapping Nancy in his arms and holding her close to his face.
He didn't even wait for the man to notice him as Charles grabbed the chair beside him and slammed it against the man's head.
The chair split into two from the impact.
"Fuck!" Blood trickled down his head as Caspar clutched his hair in disbelief.
He could already feel his vision blurring all together, but when he saw the man in front of him, he was too petrified to even faint. "Mr. Fu," he stuttered. "I was only catching up with Nancy." "Fuck off!" he roared.
"How could I even touch her? She's your woman!" he hurriedly explained. "In fact, she even told me how much she loved you. She already said that she doesn't love me or Ethan anymore. It's all swept under the rug."
"Get the fuck out or I'll kill you!" Charles snarled, not having the patience to deal with his careless excuses.
"I'll be leaving. Good bye, Nancy." He shot her a bitter smile before walking off.
Nancy leaned against the bedside table as the exhaustion swept through her.
It was a good thing that he came just in time. Otherwise, who knew what would've happened to her?
"You-you said you loved me?" Charles said carefully as joy flashed in his eyes.
"I was only saying it to him to get him out of here. Don't take it so seriously." She lowered her head, avoiding her gaze.
He lifted her head. "And if I take it seriously?"
"You know that it's impossible for us to get together, so don't bother playing tricks on me." She scoffed.
Nancy couldn't bear it anymore. Her mother hadn't woken up yet, and it seemed that her own family couldn't stop hurting her over and over again. Why did she need to suffer?
"Well, I'll take it seriously," he stated firmly, holding her close.
Exhausted, she didn't have it in herself to argue with him further.
Besides, it wasn't a bad idea to hug him like this.
In the Zhuang family's house, Dorothy was still sobbing on the sofa.
Her tear streaked face was hidden underneath all those pillows.
With his hands clasped behind his back, Drew stomped back and forth in the living room.
"Charles had gone too far! Our daughter gave up everything for him, and look at what he's doing! Isn't our Dorothy better than that brat Nancy?" Sherry yelled.
"I think that Charles has already fallen in love with Nancy. You didn't see his eyes when he looked at her. I -I've never even seen him look at me like that before," Dorothy murmured softly. She used the back of her hand to wipe the tears trailing across her cheeks.
Drew waved his hand dismissively. "It wouldn't be easy for them to be married off. There are just so many factors. She wouldn't be able to get pass Angelina and Hardy. I'm telling you, none of them wants him to marry her, so you still have a chance. Do you understand me?"
"Don't talk nonsense. How could I marry him? We're not even engaged yet!" Dorothy sniffled.
She had never felt so desperate in her entire life. It was said that absence would make the heart grow fonder. However, who said that must be lying!
She thought that if she didn't take the initiative, he would've already been attracted to her. She didn't expect for the man to fall in love with someone else! Dorothy wasn't going to accept this!
"You better think of another way to solve this, Drew," Sherry said.
"That's easy. Prepare a gift for me. I'll be heading to the Fu Family." He headed to the dressing room.
"Are you going to propose a marriage?" Sherry looked up.
"I will."
"Then let me prepare the best tea and edible bird's nest for you." As if she had just received the best news in her life, Sherry shot out of her seat and scoured through her cabinets. In the Fu Family's house.
"Bobby, call your daddy and ask him to come back," Angelina snapped. She was already fuming in anger.
Bobby had thrown all the toys Dorothy had given her into the trash can.
He walked up to her. "Grandma, Mommy's mother is sick. Couldn't Daddy accompany her?"
"Don't call her Mommy ever again, boy. I'm telling you, Nancy wouldn't marry your Dad. Do you understand?" she lectured.
Bobby shook her head rapidly. "Why don't you like her? Let me tell you, Grandma, if they don't marry, then it would be difficult to replace another woman who Daddy's willing to get married to."
