Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 176 Love Kids

After a long time, Doris finally lost interest.

After she uploaded the video online, she waved her hand and said, "Stop, Winnie. I've had enough."

She had seen enough of it. The moment Winnie stopped, she staggered and passed out.

Jay called his men and they carried Winnie away. Like a child who had done something wrong, he turned to Doris and said in a soft tone, "It's all my fault, Doris. How about we have a meal together?" Doris grabbed a book and threw it at him. "Are you going to dance again with your secretary, Jay?"

The book drew a beautiful arc in the air and hit precisely on Jay's forehead.

"Ouch, it hurts!" He almost knelt down to her. Then he swore, "I swear upon God that if I dance with a female secretary again in the future, I will surely be..."

However, before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by Doris' yelling. "Not just dancing! You are not even allowed to date with any other woman except me!"

"Yes, you're right. What a fool I am!" He raised his right hand and solemnly repeated, "From now on, I will never date any woman other than Doris. If I break my promise, let the God punish me." Then Doris walked to him, covered his mouth with her hand and said, "Well, I believe you now."

After that, her face was full of satisfied smile.

"Then tonight can we...?" Jay was happy and he tried to get more.

"Well, I'm pregnant. So I get easily tired nowadays. I need to go to bed early tonight," she said grimly. Then she grabbed her bag and walked away.

"What? Wait a minute! I..." He was annoyed and speechless. He could do nothing, but watch her leave.

Doris was so proud of herself, like a hero returning from a triumph.

She felt it was better to compete with Winnie than to fight against others.

When she reached the gate, she took out ten thousand dollars from her bag and gave it to the guard. Then she said, "Sir, I'm really sorry for what I did. I can't buy you a cell phone myself. You can buy it yourself."

The guard grinned happily. "Madame, thank you so much."

He took the money with joy.

When she arrived, she was as violent as a storm, but when she left, her footsteps were as brisk as the spring breeze. It didn't seem like she was pregnant at all.

After listening to Doris, Nancy was overjoyed.

"You're really awesome, Doris!" she praised her sincerely.

"Well, you have to remember that if you are bullied by Charles in the future, don't stand it. Never go soft and encourage him to assume he can get away with such wrongdoing. You must learn to take an eye for an eye!" Doris began to teach Nancy some useful skills.

"An eye for an eye? That too, Charles? Well, you are thinking too much, Doris? I can't handle that man!" Nancy sighed.

"Men are all beasts. Even though women are expected to employ only soft tactics, you have to use both hard and soft ones to deal with Charles. Understand?"

Nancy shrugged. She thought that even if she somehow managed to handle Charles, she couldn't possibly know how to deal with Frederic and Angelina.

Nancy laughed too hard that her feet suddenly twitched and hurt.

"Ouch!" Nancy said, frowning.

"What's wrong?" Doris asked in a hurry as she didn't know that Nancy was injured.

'Tm fine. Someone stepped on my foot, so it's swollen a little bit." Nancy didn't dare to tell her that Anna stepped on her foot on purpose. She was afraid that Doris might even kill Anna if she knew that.

She wouldn't care who Anna's father was!

Dorothy was such an example!

As Doris bent over and lifted the hem of Nancy's dress, she shouted, "Oh my God! So swollen?"

"Yes, it should take at least three or four days for the swelling to subdue. Today is just the second day," Nancy said.

"How could Charles let you come to work when you are hurt so bad? Is he still a man? He is the powerful CEO of the TS Group. What? He has no money?" Doris' hot temper was part of her personality, and that was not going to change soon.

"He knew it. He massaged me last night. It wasn't swollen so much then. He can't do anything about it!"

Nancy was telling the truth, but Doris laughed viciously. "You haven't married him yet, but you are already protecting him. Well, you deserve it!" "Why are you always so mean, Doris? Can't you say something that other people like to hear?" Nancy complained, smiling.

"No, I'm just like this!" Doris said nonchalantly.

"So, you still have a bad relationship with Jay's mother? Don't you want to ease it?" Nancy asked anxiously.

Nancy didn't really expect that the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law of the rich was even more troublesome than that of ordinary people.

"I don't want to do anything about it. She just dislikes me. I'm really helpless. I can't do anything about it, even if I want to. Anyway, I don't care. Why should I care? It's so tiring!" As Doris finished her words, she touched her belly and added, "Now I can't even get angry because of my baby."

"That's right. You are going to be a mother. You should know what you are up to," Nancy agreed.

At the mention of the baby, Doris' expression softened. "Nancy, your foot is injured. I will pick up Bobby and Nadia for you these days. You can enjoy a private space with Charles. I haven't seen the kids for a few days. I really miss them! Nowadays, Jay stays in the hospital for most of the time and I feel lonely at home."

"Okay, as long as you are not tired!" Nancy couldn't walk too far, due to her foot injury. She thought it might be a good idea to let Doris pick up Bobby and Nadia.

"That's settled then. It's raining these days. I will go to the kindergarten to pick up the kids early today," Doris said, and stood up.

"My foot hurts. I won't send you off," said Nancy.

"Don't perform any surgery for a few days. Let your foot get healed first. You will get tired if you stand for such a long time," Doris reminded her.

"Yeah, I got it. You should go now." Nancy checked the time. She did have a surgery this afternoon. Because her ankle was injured, she had to prepare for it as soon as possible.

The little patient had a polio. Fortunately, the atrophy wasn't serious, but her right leg was obviously five centimeters shorter than the left leg and her toes were deformed slightly. This kind of surgery was beyond Jessie's capability, so of course the patient was handled by Nancy.

Such surgeries usually took longer time than bone surgeries, so Nancy tied her injured foot with some bandage.

That would reduce her pain.

The surgery got over only by seven thirty in the afternoon.

It was the rainy season these days. It rained heavily from time to time, and everyone had been used to it.

Nancy had called Charles and informed him that Doris had gone to the kindergarten to pick up the children.
