Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 178 Not Reconciled At All

Charles was thrilled and satisfied beyond words when he heard Nancy call him husband tenderly.

He could not contain his emotions and kissed her like an obsessed man.

His kiss made Nancy felt dizzy, but the familiar feeling it brought made her forget all her struggles. To top it, she didn't even feel a bit molested at the least!

But after a while, she was brought into consciousness. Remembering that she didn't know who was holding her in his arms and that he was just a stranger, she bit him hard.

"Ouch, that hurts..." Charles muttered while thinking at the same time, 'She has sharp teeth indeed.'

"You bastard! Get out of here! I'll call for help if you don't leave now. Don't you know who my husband is? It's Charles and he will be here any minute now. If you don't want to go to prison, leave now!" She just wanted to frighten the bastard so he would leave as soon as possible. She just blurted out what came into her mind and had no idea whatsoever of what she was talking about.

'Well, good thing she remembered to mention my name to frighten the person she thought of as a thief. Smart girl!'

However, he didn't want to let go of her so easily since he enjoyed kissing her and wanted to pursue kissing her.

Charles spat out the blood in his mouth and continued to kiss Nancy more fervently as if he was crazy.

If it weren't for the fact that he could feel that her breath was getting weaker and weaker, he would have had sex with her in the middle of the rain. Nancy, on the other hand, was so anxious, so much that she was about to cry. The wind and the rain was so strong and was not cooperating with her at all! To add to her discomfort, she was being bullied by a bad guy like this.

When she felt that she couldn't take any more and was about to die, the man finally stopped. He carried her in his arms and walked inside the villa. When they got in, the lights inside the villa were turned on.

Nancy squinted as her eyes and adjusted to the light.

After a while, she gathered her courage and turned around to look at the man who carried her inside

To her amazement, the man she thought of as a thief turned out to be Charles! She didn't recognize him because he was wearing a blue raincoat. Half of his face was covered by the oversized raincoat, disguising his identity. His outfit looked so weird that she wasn't able to recognize him. Furthermore, the violent storm, coupled with lightning and thunder, made her disoriented. As afraid as she was, she thought he was a thief. When she saw that it was none other than Charles, Nancy had experienced mixed feelings of grief and joy.

She wanted to laugh, but tears fell from her eyes uncontrollably.

"Oh, it's you, Charles. Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Surprised, pleased and angry all at the same time, she pounded on his chest helplessly.

"I called your name, but you couldn't hear me through the rain," Charles said as he took off his raincoat.

He had indeed called her, but she didn't respond at all.

The heavy rain must have muffled his voice and caused her not to hear him when he called her.

"It's raining so heavily outside, but you still bullied me. How dare you..." Nancy said out of anger and frustration.

"True, it is raining heavily outside. But... Don't you think it's more interesting and more thrilling?" Charles said as he stroked away the hair on Nancy's face. Seductively, he added, "I like to see you get wet in the rain and hear you call me husband. Nancy, let's do it one more time and call me husband again!"

Charles looked at her up and down. He could not help but gaze at her body. He could see every curve through her wet dress as it clung to her body.

Her fully developed body was enough to ignite his imaginations infinitely.

Nancy, on the other hand, had forgotten what she had shouted at that time in her hurry.

Well in fact, she remembered, but she just didn't have the guts to admit it.

"I... I have mistaken you for a thief. It wasn't my intention to call you husband. Please don't take it seriously!" she argued incoherently, just blabbering whatever came to her mind. Her face was blushing scarlet with shyness.

"Go and take a shower first. I need to look at your wound and treat it again!" he urged her, all the while watching her with a worried look in his eyes.

If Charles hadn't reminded her of the wound on her foot, she would have totally forgotten her injury.

But now that Charles had mentioned it, she suddenly became conscious of the pain again and the throbbing was unbearable. Charles carried Nancy in his arms and walked towards the bathroom on the second floor. Suddenly, Nancy sneezed, "Achoo..." She had been standing outside in the rain for such a long time. Most probably, she could have caught a cold against her will "You were out for so long. Have you caught a cold?" Charles asked, his voice full of concern.

"I hope not..." Nancy replied uncertainly with a heavy nasal voice.

"I've prepared the hot water. You stay here for a little longer to warm you up," Charles said as he took Nancy to the bathroom on the second floor.

"I can do it myself. You don't have to help me," she retorted while struggling and got out of Charles' arms.

"Okay, I'll be in the bathroom next door. If you feel uncomfortable or anything happens, remember to call me! I'll be right here," said Charles carefully.

After the board meeting he had hosted in the group that day, he was drained of his energy and was very tired.

"Okay, got it." Looking at Charles, Nancy let her guard down for a bit and a trace of eagerness could finally be seen in her eyes.

After taking a shower, she changed into pajamas and came out of the bathroom refreshed.

Charles had also finished taking a shower and sat in the living room waiting for her. He had a medical kit ready in front of him. "Come here!" Without raising his head, he quickly opened the medical kit while admonishing her to come closer.

"I can do it myself, thank you. You don't have to help me," she refuted as she walked over gingerly.

"Let me do it for you. Your foot is already swollen but it even got soaked in the rain. Don't make it worse than it already is!" Nancy couldn't contradict what he said. She was at a loss for words because her foot was really very painful.

"Sit down!" Charles commanded. He had found the medicine needed for her foot.

Nancy could only comply as she obediently sat down. She closed her eyes and stretched out her foot for Charles to look at.

The gauze on her foot got wet and dirty by the rain and had to be replaced, so he carefully took it off.

Even though he tried to be as gentle as he could, no matter how careful he was, Nancy still grimaced as she felt a heart-wrenching pain.

"Think of something else to distract your attention, or you can talk to me about anything," Charles told her as he skillfully bandaged her wound. He could sense that she was trembling all over because of the pain.

After a while, she looked at his fingers and smiled.

"What? Why are you so happy?" Charles asked when he noticed the smile on her lips.

Nancy looked at his handsome face and softly asked, "Charles, may I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Have you ever thought of Bobby's mother?" Nancy asked awkwardly, then lowered her eyes while nervously waiting for his reply.

Charles was speechless

and didn't know how to reply to her question.

Sure enough, he had thought about her in more than one occasion.

He could still remember the feeling that girl gave him.

He had even asked Hiram to look for her countless times in the past, but he always came at a dead end. He could not replace her.

"Tell me honesty, have you ever thought of her?" Nancy sounded like a spoiled child as she probed further.

With a frown, he tightened his grip on the bandage and answered her question with another question, "Is this really a question you should be asking me?"

"Ouch! It hurts!" Nancy screamed in pain. It was Charles' revenge on her, a clear indication that he didn't want to talk about it.

However, she really wanted to know the answer!

Perhaps due to her stubbornness, she sniffed and pressed on with her questioning, "I know I shouldn't have put my nose in, but every time I saw Bobby, he looked so cute and handsome. I couldn't help but wonder how his mother looked like. She must be very cute and beautiful, right?"

The more she said, the more excited she became. She couldn't hold her emotions as tears welled up in her eyes.

Charles remained silent and thoughtful.

What was there for him to say?

The person in his heart was now Nancy for she filled his thoughts. As for the girl he once spent the night with, he only thought of her occasionally after meeting Nancy.

"Tell me..." Nancy coaxed because she didn't intend to give up. She kept asking.

Her real intention was to replace out if she had left an impression on Charles.

After all, they had spent a passionate night together, and even had children together. Had he really forgotten her so soon?

Unexpectedly, Nancy was not reconciled at all by her train of thoughts!

"She was a very beautiful and charming woman. I can't explain myself, but every time I make out with you, I think of her." Charles spoke very fast. He looked into Nancy's eyes angrily. "Are you now satisfied with what I said?"
