Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 1097 A Battle With Blood And Tears (Part Two)

Hanson had anticipated the attack and quickly dodged before the first fiend ancestor could makehis move. Unfortunately, the speed of the fiendish aura surging at him was too fast. Although hehad prepared for it, he was still hit by a small stream of the fiendish aura.

Bang!

The tiny amount of fiendish aura that grazed Hanson left a bloody hole in his arm.

Keeping his cool, he swung his sword and a majestic dark gold internal force surged out from it andstraight towards the first fiend ancestor.

The first fiend ancestor scoffed at the dark gold internal force. After all, this force was far inferior toDarren's.

A loud gust of wind suddenly swept through the space.

At this moment, a sword abyss came down and engulfed the first fiend ancestor.

"Killing Rule!"

Feeling this aura, the first fiend ancestor growled coldly. As hard as he tried, a sense of nervousnessleaked out from his tone.

"Yes, it's called the Killing Sword Abyss!" Mathew shouted.

Numerous blood red swords crisscrossed and slashed at the first fiend ancestor's body; leaving tensof thousands of scars.

Mathew quickly headed towards the first fiend ancestor.

From his hand, a blood red sword flew at full speed, ready to pierce through the first fiendancestor's heart.

However, Mathew was sorely duped by the first fiend ancestor's reaction speed.

Although Mathew's sword speed was at its peak, the first fiend ancestor was able to dodge it with aslight tilt sideways.

The nasty sound of tearing flesh was heard next.

The sword had pierced through the first fiend ancestor's body as planned, but it failed to reach hisheart.

Damaging any part of his body other than the heart posed no threat to his life.

The first fiend ancestor stretched out his hand and squeezed tightly on the sword embedded intohis chest.

He pulled it out without a tinge of pain on his face and dropped it to the ground with a loud clang.Mathew's sword turned into dust and scattered into the air.

Bang!

The first fiend ancestor threw another palm attack at Mathew, gauging through the latter's chest."Brother!"

Hanson shouted in despair.

"Hurry up. Bring Darren to safety!" Mathew could barely speak these words as blood kept gushingout of his mouth. His life aura was slowly fading away.

"Sirl"

Darren's heart ached at the sight of Mathew's deteriorating life force.

Mathew had been the most generous person towards him. When he was weak, Mathew always tookcare of him and was always patient with all of his shortcomings.

The moment the claw of the first fiend ancestor stabbed into Mathews chest, the pain Darren felt inhis heart was as if his own heart had been stabbed as well

"Hurry up!"

Mathew's anguished and bloodied face made one last beckon at them.

He then opened his mouth and a killing sword intent was shot directly into the first fiend ancestor'seye.

Blood and flesh scattered around as the killing sword intent pushed deeper into the eye until itfinally exploded.

"Argh!"

The first fiend ancestor retaliated from the pain and cracked his other hand down hard on Mathew'shead.

Bang!

With a loud crack, Mathew's head exploded into several pieces as his corpse went cold.

"Brother..."

Hanson's knees gave out at the terrible sight. He wanted to shout and scream, but his voice cameout hoarse and as soft as a whisper. He was devastated.

Immediately after, a gust of wind spread throughout the space.

After killing Mathew, the first fiend ancestor quickly descended and stood in front of Hanson.

"Sir, run!"

Darren roared hysterically, his voice sounding almost insane.

Hanson turned around and looked at Darren with a blank expression. His eyes were empty but asserene as a peaceful lake. He made a sad smile as one tear fell out from his eye.

"Darren, I'll see you around.”

A dark gold light spread into the air as Hanson muttered his final words. His body exploded intomore shimmering lights as they swept over the first fiend ancestor.

The moment happened so quickly, but for Darren, time seemed to freeze right before his eyes.

He felt his heart rip into two.

"God, who will save them now?"

The humans below them cowered and knelt on the ground, weeping and praying.

They saw that after the bloody fiend killed the two peerless human warriors, he flew to the injureddragon who was motionless in the air again. Despair began to bubble up from the bottom of theirhearts.

"Maybe today is the end of the world. All is finished," they sighed in resignation. For them, all hopewas lost.

"Kill"

"Protect Darren!"

A crowd of shouts and a murderous aura arose as countless figures began to gather in the sky. Most of them were strong holy warriors. Some were from the Sacred Palace and some werereclusive cultivators.

Tens of thousands of human holy warriors brought out their strongest powers and charged towardsthe first fiend ancestor in a last ditch effort to defeat him.

"No! Get away! Don't come here. Get out of here!" shouted Darren.

Tears ran down his cheeks as he yelled at the top of his lungs. He had seen too many deathsalready.

The strong human cultivators gave no mind to Darren's pleas. They charged at the ancestor andfought with all their might; they had already accepted their unfortunate fates.

Once they came in contact with the immense power of the first fiend ancestor, they began to droplike flies one by one. Their blood spilled like a crimson rain.

"Go ahead!"

a frail man in a black robe shouted.

He was a nobody amongst these people. When the crowd rushed forward, he sneakily stayed back, but continued cheering them on and shouting wildly.

"Kill him! Kill him!"

The man in black robe began to slowly move forward.

"Wretched Insects!"

The first fiend ancestor couldn't fathom why these useless humans would not cease charging at him. They knew they would die, and yet they showed no fear.

"Go to hell, all of you!"

Dozens of cultivators were killed by the mere power in the first fiend ancestor's voice.

"Kill him! We must protect Darren!"

The man in black robe was still shouting from the sidelines, but a strange light suddenly flashed inhis deep set eyes.

A powerful fiend power suddenly darted toward him. He stretched out his hand, revealing black fur,and easily shattered the oncoming force.

The humans continued to perish. The big crowd of human warriors had now become scarce. Only afew hundred people managed to hold on as Darren continued to beg for them to retreat.

An extremely strong dark power suddenly erupted from the man in black robe, who was a fewhundred feet away from the first fiend ancestor.

"Kill him!"

His voice was very light this time, but his aura was even greater than that of a tribulation thunder.Whoosh!

He suddenly sped up by tens of thousands of times and charged towards the first fiend ancestor.

A black stick was lifted high and smashed down.

The blow shook the heavens and the earth as the entire space rumbled violently. The powerful darkaura swept through every corner of the world

In fear, the first fiend ancestor raised a pair of bloody claws over his head, defending against thepower of the black stick.

Bang!

The first fiend ancestor's claws exploded into a bloody mist from the impact.

The black stick didn't slow down or weaken. It continued toward the first fiend ancestor's head.

The blow caused the first fiend ancestor to panic. He felt that this power was truly a deadly threat tohis life!

Above his head, an octahedral crystal was swirling rapidly. It was ready to resist the black stick.

Not so far in the distance, the man in the black robe collapsed and knelt in mid-air.

Gazing at the octahedral crystal spiraling up over the first fiend ancestor's head, he felt a feeling ofhelplessness wash over him.

He had used up all his strength in this stick. If the crystal resisted his attack, he would have no morestrength left for another attack.

On the other side of the battlefield, when the heartbroken Darren saw the black stick, he knew theman in disguise from the human team was Barnes!

Whoosh!

Darren gathered the last of his strength and rushed madly towards the first fiend ancestor.Coinciding with this, the powerful black stick collided with the crystal of the first fiend ancestor.Bang!

The runes exploded as the black stick hit the crystal, creating cracks of lightning millions of feet longthroughout the void.

Loud cracks began to sound as the first fiend ancestor's crystal

began to break.

As hope kept slipping through their fingers at every sign, the power of Barnes’ stick seemed to havecompletely dissipated at this point. There was no more force to spare in order to kill the first fiendancestor.
