Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 1308 The Archean Mountain

Watching the surface of the ball exfoliate slowly before them, the superior gods felt uneasy.

As it peeled away, the gap increased in size, releasing wisps of yellow gas. Soon, the yellow gasgathered to form thick clouds, dominating the sky.

"This must be the aura of the Archean Age..."

Awestruck by the spectacle, the superior gods remained focused on uncovering the mystery behindthe yellow energy.

Unbeknownst to them, the yellow gas gradually grew denser and enveloped them in its influence.Entranced by the mysterious energy, the superior gods grew oblivious to their surroundings, unableto register when they were absorbed by the yellow aura.

Boom!

Suddenly, under the thick yellow mist, a mountain appeared out of nowhere.

The mountain rose up and soared into the sky, adding to its height. The sheer height of it could betestified by its peak, that lay veiled amidst the clouds, hidden from sight.

"Holy crap! What just happened?”

After witnessing such an event, the superior gods finally regained their lost senses

Instinctively, they ran their gazes in all directions to make sense of their surroundings. The place wasdesolate, with no signs of life. They seemed to be in a desert.

"Let's move!"

Taking the initiative, the master of the Ninth Precipitous Mountain flew forward, paving the way forthe others.

But no matter how much distance they covered, they couldn't reach the edge of the mountain. Itseemed to go on forever.

"We're trapped; it's a dead-end."

The superior gods soon understood the situation they were in.

Even though they were confronted with strife, the superior gods remained calm. In synchronization, each of them activated their god's sense, trying to locate a way out.

Boom!

As if to interrupt their attempt at a countermeasure, a dark vortex opened up in the middle of thesurface.

The strong suction force released by the vortex began pulling at the superior gods, to absorb theminside.

"Humph!"

In a moment of desperation, the Tussle Fighting God swung his hammer with every ounce of mighthe could muster up. Lifting the hammer in his grip, he smashed it to the ground, to act as ananchor.

Bang!

To his surprise, the hammer ricocheted, deflected by the ground, and struck his chest instead.Struggling to maintain his footing, he retreated back to where he once stood. His chest caved infrom the impact and bled profusely. The others felt horrified, witnessing his feeble condition.

The yellow ground was actually sturdy enough to endure his hammer strike.

Meanwhile, the vortex continued to drag the superior gods towards it.

"We need to work together. Or else we will never be able to get out of here,” someone shoutedfrom behind, reigniting their diminished morale.

The superior gods nodded to each other and released their god's power, connected with eachother, to withstand the suction force.

Even with their collective efforts, they continued to be pulled in the direction of the vortex.Meanwhile, remaining hidden in Lindsay's space, Darren and the others caught wind of the dramaticrise of the mountain

"What's going on? Was the mountain suppressed in the round ball all this while?" Lindsay expressedher shock.

"That's weird. How come it's a mountain but not a beast?" Darren asked, tilting his head inconfusion.

In contrast to them, Murphy used his god's sense, trying to understand the situation.

"Do you sense Akbar's aura, Master Murphy?"

"No, I can't sense anything.” Murphy shook his head, defeated. His god's sense was unable to reachthe mountain.

"How about we go out and have a look?" Lindsay suggested.

All three of them gathered to discuss. After a little hesitation, they decided to head out toinvestigate.

Coming out of the space, they witnessed the gigantic mountain for themselves.

"Something doesn't feel right.

Where did the superior gods go? They seemed to have disappeared. Do you think they're dead?"Lindsay murmured, slowly growing anxious.

"Not a chance!" Murphy retorted, refusing to believe the powerful great masters at the SuperiorGod Realm were taken down by a mere mountain

"Well. Where do you think they went then?”

"There must be some Archean treasures left in that mountain. They are searching for them," Murphyguessed, praying he was right.

"That makes sense. Do you think we should go have a look?" Darren asked, still staring at themountain.

After a moment's silence, Murphy said, "You all wait here. I'll go first. If I can head up, I'll let youknow."

"No, it's too risky for you to go alone,” Darren requested, sounding concerned.

"Don't worry about me. If I sense any sort of danger, I'll retreat immediately. You stay put. Don'tcome after me." After he declared, Murphy ascended towards the endless peak of the mountain, refusing Darren the chance to protest.

As he flew upwards, he went past the yellow gas and continued to move towards the peak. In aflash, he had approached the dense clouds of the sky.

Incorporating all his strength, he managed to reach the top in a few hours.

Repeating the previous scenario, a gust of yellow gas swooped him in its influence, and he wasbrought to the same desolate place.

Once he arrived, the missing warriors captured his attention.

Noticing the appearance of a new figure in the damned place, the superior gods shifted their gazeto Murphy.

"Foolish brat! Why'd you come here? Get out while you still can!" the Tussle Fighting God shouted, displeased.

Before Murphy could register, he felt his body fling forward involuntarily with a speed that onlyincreased each passing second.

"What's going on here? I can't stop!" Stricken with fear, Murphy called out helplessly. He was unableto resist the force pulling at his body.

Watching Murphy being hurled in their direction, the superior gods panicked.

Bang!

Murphy's helpless body struck one of the superior gods.

The collision affected his concentration, causing their force to weaken. Similar to the domino effect,it influenced the entire formation with the momentary distraction.

As a result, all of them were sucked into the vortex in one fell swoop.

Meanwhile, Darren and the others remained outside, awaiting Murphy's arrival. When he failed toshow up, they decided to go after him.

Following Murphy's tracks, they flew towards the peak. But before they could head further up, athick yellow cloud acted as an obstruction, refusing their access. However, it didn't harm them."What is this? Why can't we move past this?"

Frustrated, Darren and the others tried a second time, but to no avail.

Soon, the yellow energy spread its influence like wildfire, eventually forcing them out of the woodsentirely.

Confused, Darren ran his gaze and found thousands of beasts being driven out by the yellowenergy, roaring and crying out in protest.

In just a few moments, the once pastoral forest disappeared into a sea of yellow smoke, forcefullyexiling the beasts from their home. The only thing visible to the eyes, was the mountain kissing theskies.

"Howl!"

"Howl!"

Numerous fierce beasts, weak or strong, let out desperate cries, rushing out frantically.

Some weak beasts were smashed dead, unable to resist the force. The fresh blood oozing out oftheir crushed bodies ran its course on the ground, forming a lake.

"Assimilate! Evolve!"

When Darren watched the scene unravel, he rushed down without hesitation. The air was chokedwith talent and Evolution Force.

Clatter!

A tremendous amount of talent and Evolution Force rushed into Darren's meridians like a rapidflow.

As a result, Darren felt his physical strength increase by leaps and bounds.

The talent he assimilated collected itself into the mysterious space in his mind.

"Wow..."

At this moment, Darren noticed his bottleneck loosen, preparing to break. The feeling wasindescribable; he actually surpassed the peak of the Domain God Realm and entered the Star GodRealm.

This was the result of the dramatic physical evolution he underwent.

"Darren, watch out!"

Not caring about running him over, the wild beasts rushed at him. Among them were some of themost ferocious creatures.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

But before they could reach him, Darren discarded them with two movements of the supremesword skill, buying him enough time to make his escape.

Despite achieving the Star God Realm, Darren didn't dare stay any longer amidst the commotionand retreated.

"Come on. Let's get out of here!"

Darren, along with Lindsay and Finley, ran towards the less crowded area to escape. Brandishing hissword, he kept clearing their path, killing countless beasts that crossed them.

After several hours, Darren and the others landed safely on the ground, managing to escape fromthe region of the berserk beasts running amok.
