Chapter 1325 A Level-ten Divine Pattern

Darren donned the Red-chained Armor. It was sneakily concealed under the outer layer of hisclothes.

"Not bad." Darren could feel the power of the Red-chained Armor. Although its defensive powerwas inferior to that of Akbar's Dark Dragon Armor, it already fell into the category of precious divineweapons.

"You mentioned earlier that they had a divine weapon that could enable them to disregard yourdefense, correct?"

"Yes." Field's face was full of bitterness. His heart had been aching since Darren took his Red-chained Armor.

"What divine weapon was that?"

"It was a bow. The arrows that were shot from it could completely bypass the defenses of my Red-chained Armor," replied Field.

"Tell me, is he telling the truth?" Darren leaned in to ask the several believers he'd just subdued."It's the truth, sir. The 'Piercing Spirit Bow is a divine weapon from our ancestor. It is inlaid with alevel-ten penetrating divine pattern, and this makes it extremely powerful as it can easily break thedefense of the Celestial God Realm,” one of the believers answered.

They were good friends with Dario Yue, the young master of the Nine Mysterious Sect, so they knewall about the origin of the bow.

"Go and retrieve that bow for me,” Darren ordered. He thought to himself, “Fortunately, I haven'treally gone too far away.’

"Understood."

One of the believers immediately flew out, and returned in a jiff.

He placed a bow of primitive simplicity into Darren's hands.

Darren tried to pull on the bowstring, but it refused to move.

"Darren, let me do this."

Weber stood up proudly, rolled up his sleeves, and began to draw the bowstring. However, thebowstring again stayed stagnant as Weber's face began to turn red from frustration.

"What the hell is this poor bow made of? Even I can't string it?"

"Sir, it doesn't work in this way. The Piercing Spirit Bow belonged to our ancestor. It can only bedrawn by a direct descendant of the ancestor of the Nine Mysterious Sect, together with the help ofthe ancestor's god's power."

"So that means the bow is useless to us, isn't it?" Lindsay folded her arms and furrowed her brows indisappointment.

"Not necessarily." Darren took the bow over and inserted his fingers into the middle part of theshaft.

He noticed that there was a divine pattern embedded there.

After a few tries, Darren finally dug the divine pattern out.

The antique divine bow, which had been suffused with a halo, immediately dimmed.

"Wow, that was a smart move, Darren!" Weber hastily showered Darren in compliments. "Even agreat master at the top level of the Superior God Realm wouldn't dislike a level-ten divine pattern.”Divine patterns could be divided into twelve levels. The higher its level was, the stronger the divinepattern would be as well. Generally speaking, level-nine divine patterns were already the best divinepatterns that could usually be attained.

However, a level-nine divine pattern was nothing compared to a level-ten divine pattern.

A level-ten divine pattern was something that had rarely been seen in the last million years. It wastruly one of the rarest treasures out there.

"Looks like I've lucked out. This turned out to be a penetrating divine pattern,” said Darren as helooked at the divine pattern closely.

This kind of divine pattern was named "Piercing Spirit”, which was the best among all thepenetrating series. The reason was because level-eleven and level-twelve divine patterns couldn't bediscovered by anybody inferior to deputy gods.

"Unfortunately, there's only one here. With twelve level-ten divine patterns, you could evenpenetrate the defense of a deputy god with the current level of your god's power," explainedWeber.

"Come on! Do you think we've picked up junk or something? It is already a blessing to obtain one ofthem, let alone twelve," said Finley, while he rolled his eyes at Weber.

"You've got a point. My master just used level-ten divine patterns as fillers, honestly."

Weber remembered his master, who had two series of divine patterns. One series included twelvelevel-eleven divine patterns, while the other series included only eight level-eleven divine patterns, while the vacant four positions were filled by level-ten divine patterns.

Hearing that, Darren and his companions were shocked. They could not help but wonder howpowerful Weber's master actually was. How could he use level-ten divine patterns as meresubstitutes?

Darren then integrated the level-ten divine pattern into his meridians.

Since his sword intent and the black god's power originally had strong penetrating power, theywere much more effective now because of the integration of a level-ten penetrating divine pattern."All right, let's get on our way. We have to continue our hunt for more beasts.”

After packing up, Darren divided all the people into two groups. The group of believers wouldcollect points on their own, while he and his companions looked for beasts.

As for Field, he knelt down in tears, begging to stay with Darren and his companions. He evenpromised to give Darren twelve level-eight divine patterns when they got out. Only then did Darrenagree that he could come along with them.

Four hours had passed since Darren and his companions continued their hunt when

the space fluctuated at the place where Dario Yue, the young master of the Nine Mysterious Sectwas.

Simultaneously, a very serious and intimidating face appeared in front of him.

"Fa..father..." Dario was bloody and badly mutilated. His appearance was a horrifying sight. Heheaved as he began to have trouble even breathing.

"Dario!" The face suddenly twisted in anguish when he saw the current state of his son.

"Father, kill me, please... can't handle this anymore.” Dario was in so much pain that he felt deathwas a better option.

"Dario, please don't give up. Father will come to you right away. I must save you even if I have to fallout of favor with the Tussle Holy House.” As soon as these words were spoken, the image of theface vanished into thin air.

"Darren, bad news!"

On their way forward, Weber suddenly stopped in his tracks, his face turning deathly pale as his eyesgrew in shock.

"What's wrong?"

"There are fierce beasts at the Celestial God Realm coming towards us from about five hundredkilometers away." Weber was beginning to fret at the discovery. The mark on his body was scalding, which indicated that there were more than one of the fierce beasts at the Celestial God Realmnearby.

"You'd better get out of here quickly. Otherwise, we're all going to die here," said Weber, in aseemingly serious and earnest tone. Secretly, he was peeping at Darren from the corner of his eyeswhile he said this. He thought to himself, “Darren, my boss, you have to stay with me. I don't want togo to hell alone.

"Okay, let's go. Take care of yourself, Weber.” Darren told the others to leave as he seemed to seeright through Weber's scheme.

"Oh, no! Darren, come on, you can't do this! You can't abandon me and leave me to die in the wild. How about you all hide yourselves somewhere? If I die here, at least help bury my dead body," saidWeber with a miserable and depressed tone.

"Stop pretending. You know I won't actually leave you alone.” Darren shot him a cold look. "Anyway,I have the Beast-subduing Tripod in my hand and the Red-chained Armor as defense. My god'spower can also penetrate more deeply now. If I join hands with you, we could have a shot atwinning against those beasts.”

"Are you sure, boss? They're fierce beasts at the Celestial God Realm!" asked Weber nervously."Well if you prefer we leave, then I'll just leave now." Darren turned around.

"Darren, I didn't mean it. I'm sorry. Please don't leave me here." Weber dashed towards Darren andclung to his leg, trembling.

Howl!

Howl!

Two huge bodies dashed forward, crushing a path through the ancient forest.

The two creatures looked like saber-toothed tiger, but they were much bigger. They were onehundred feet tall and two hundred feet long in size.

A great roar was emitted by the two beasts in unison, shocking Finley, Lindsay and Field into a daze.A deafening ringing in their ears lingered right after.

"Here's the plan. You all retreat first. Me and Weber will deal with them.”

Lindsay, Finley and Field swiftly retreated as soon as Darren said the word.

"Boss, you go first and I'll follow you!" Weber raised his clenched fists, but he was slowly steppingback.

"Fuck off.” Darren kicked him right in the ass. Weber staggered forward and rushed to the beasts"voluntarily."

"Oh my God!" Weber's expression darkened. He thought to himself, 'How could my boss be soselfish? He is pushing me into the pits of hell!"

There was no stopping once he rushed toward the beasts. He could only try his best to activate hisgod's power in time.

Suddenly, there were countless golden spikes appearing on his fists. His aura seemed to be at thepeak of its power.

'lt seems that Weber is stronger than I thought, * sighed Darren silently.

Bang!

A fierce beast raised its huge claw and swiped at Weber, colliding exactly against his fist.

A massive shock wave of power then gusted against Weber, causing his internal organs to burn."How do I fight..." Weber ricocheted backwards by dozens of feet. He was starting to get desperate.
