"It is not my business? Then whose business is it then?" the female asked angrily with her brows aninch higher and in a tight crease. While she was doing that, the female figure crossed her arms onher chest and made a smirking gesture. Anger and annoyance were apparent on her face as it grewscarlet matching her eyes that darted a glum look towards Darren.

"Ah! I see," exclaimed Darren. As the thought rang a bell on his mind, Darren suddenly becameinterested, asking her, "As far as I know, there are three different types of sword intent, mainly ice,fire, and thunder, in this lake. Do they all belong to you? If that's true, then it seems to me that youare very powerful."

"Do I need to repeat myself? It is none of your business. Get out, or I will teach you a lesson youhaven't learned yet," said the female who was now furious.

"You are quite confident with your power. Hmmm, you really challenged me. That made me eagerto know how you will teach me a lesson.” After saying this, Darren attacked her with the blade andsword intent. Indeed, Darren had the element of surprise, and this time he believed that the femalefigure would be astounded with the attack.

Darren's heart almost leaped out of his chest at the sight of the approaching intents. In defense, heunleashed his blade and sword intent to withstand her sword intent. "I can see that you replace it hard to withstand one percent of my strength. You are too weak. I don'tknow why the master picked you. However, I don't think you can successfully pass through the thirdfloor." After such a declaration by the female figure, she seemed to leave at once, since the lakegrew silent and not a single voice echoed from the bottom of the lake.

Left alone at the bottom of the lake, Darren stayed for a while. The female figure's words left a holein his heart. The truth indeed hurt, for Darren was stunned knowing there was some truth in thosewords. He couldn't allow himself to be disdained before he went on his way to the Starry Tower.Right now, however, Darren was so upset. He was tumultuous that he wanted to smash onsomething just to vent out perturbed state.

In his distraught state, Darren jumped out of the lake. After doing so, he jumped back into the lakeonce again, attempting to kill more Sword Type Creatures to piss the female figure off. However,after he was in the lake, he could not replace any more Sword Type Creatures—as if they were wipedout.

"Huh!? That lady is interesting. After I enter the Starry Tower, I will show you my real power. Waitand see.” Darren grinned at the thought that he would have an opportunity to prove himself. Such anotion motivated him at once and sparked the frozen heart that he had earlier to work out with hiscultivation.

However, Darren confirmed that the female figure was compelling. The ice, fire, and thunder swordintents of hers were much stronger than his. He estimated that her sword intent had reached thepremium stage, while his sword intent was only at the intermediate stage.
