Chapter 531 The True Appearance Of Mathew (Part Two)

"Is this the spiritual crystal you need?"

On the spur of the moment, a figure quietly occurred next to Darren. He spread out his hand, andthere on his palm was one spiritual crystal like the one Darren had assimilated.

At the sight of the spiritual crystal, Darren turned and looked at him silently. The appearance of thefigure bothered Darren at once.

He had large eyes and thick eyebrows, and a cyan robe fluttering with the wind. Furthermore, hehad an extraordinary aura exuding out from him.

To Darren's great surprise, unceremoniously, the aura of the sword intent released by the figureappeared to pierce his soul.

"Are you Mathew?" Even though this person's appearance was totally different from that ofMathew's shadow, Darren could still feel that he was Mathew.

The figure, who was indeed Mathew nodded in confirmation. Then looking at Darren, he said,” Thisis my actual appearance. Do you want the spiritual crystal?"

"Of course, I do!" Determined to assimilate the spiritual crystal, Darren did not think about any otherthings. Instead, he replied without a second thought.

"Don’t worry," assured Mathew. All that time, Darren assumed that Mathew would hand him thecrystal, but Mathew put away the spiritual crystal and took out another stone. At the glow of thestone, Darren noticed it was a Primitive Stone that contained the Heavenly Repression Rule.

"I also have a couple of mountain-high pile of these Primitive Stones. Do you want them?" with hiseyes still fixed upon Darren, Mathew said. He was looking at Darren with a sinister smile on his face.At the sound of Mathew's odd offers, Darren felt something was not right. He thought that since hehad a lot of Primitive Stones, why didn't he give them to him back then?

"What do you mean?" confused as he was, Darren asked in a cold voice. "You have these manyPrimitive Stones all this time, why did you ask me to collect them from the Raksa Sea? Your goal, after all, was to let me fetch your body, right?"

"Haha, kiddo, you are so naive. Don't you think it is too late to realize the truth? Let me tell you thetruth. I was the Grand Sword Killer, the invincible sword king! It was me who killed Hanson andobtained his blade and sword core," Mathew revealed.

"Kiddo, how does it felt being deceived?" added Mathew in a maleficent tone.

Right then and there, Mathew's expression altered into something strange and hideous. The aura ofkilling around him left Darren with no choice but to believe in what he had said.

Knowing the fact that he was deceived by Mathew really hurt Darren, making him irked in a trice. Bynow, he was already hot-tempered, but Darren managed to suppress the inflamed emotion that hehad for he knew that he was inferior to Mathew when it came to strength and powers.

After a while, Darren was a bit relieved. He pulled on a deep breath and said, "Is it of my businesswho you were and whom you've killed? Since I have succeeded in the task you gave me, I guess it istime for me to leave."

"Ha, you have a good temperament. In this case, I will let you go. But make sure you give this oneanother thought before you leave. Have a look. Who is this? Huh?" At the onset, Mathew lifted hiseyebrow, and one gorgeous figure appeared next to him.

Shifting his gaze from Mathew towards the figure that appeared out of nowhere, Darren wasstunned after he realized who the figure was.

"Elsa! Is that really you?"

The figure was so attractive that the instant Darren saw her, he could not take his eyes away fromher.

"Such a nice girl she is, isn't she? But what a pity! For me to express my gratitude to you forrecovering my body, I will kill her." After such asseveration, Mathew grinned hideously and smashedElsa into pieces with his palm. Flesh, bones, and blood splashed onto Darren's face, whichastounded him instantaneously.

Buzz!

With such horrible sight laid before his eyes, Darren's mind was in a daze. What just happened feltlike there were thousands of swords pierced through his heart, making it hard for him to breathe."No!"

as aftermath, Darren roared, trembling. He was weak and feeble in the knees and felt like he wouldcollapse anytime soon.

In that short span of time, after she had appeared at Mathew's side, Darren didn't even manage togreet her. Yet, just like that, in a snap of a finger, she was killed by Mathew.

"This is not true. It was an illusion, right? Please tell me it was just an illusion. You were just testingmy frame of mind. You did not have any reasons to do that.” Though he was still flabbergasted,Darren wished that he guessed it right. That what just happened was just an illusion, and Elsa wasstill alive, safe, and unharmed. He was so scared at the moment that he was starting to growdesperate.

"I am sorry to tell you, but I really killed her. But why? You know, I have killed thousands of people. Iam an awful person, and I enjoy watching you losers struggling. It has so much fun. Haha!"reckoned Mathew as if he had just killed a nasty mosquito biting his arm.

With Mathew's confirmation, Darren was nothing but dumbfounded. Worst was, he was starting tobelieve that Mathew's words were real. He entertained such an idea because he sensed Elsa's auraearlier, but now the aura had completely dissipated—not even the slightest feeling of her could bedetected.

"Ahhhhh! I'm going to kill you!"

Enraged and vexed at the maximum level, Darren summoned all the power he could use to attackMathew.

"Want to take revenge on me? Kiddo, you are too weak."

With a mocking and underestimating voice, Mathew waved his hand, creating mighty sword intentto sweep over Darren.

It was just a simple wave, but it was much more powerful than the attack made by the seven-starlaw enforcer in purple armor.

However, the mighty sword intent only left a few wounds in Darren's body instead of killing him
