Along with the towering column of dust displaced off the ground, and the continuous trembling ofthe mountains nearby, the battlefield was a total mess. Furthermore, the entire space was filled withthe dominating sound of clashing and clanging of blades and swords.

As the battle progressed, Darren was so bold that he moved toward the front of the metal creatureby using his Teleportation Skill. As soon as he positioned himself in what he assumed to be theperfect spot to attack, he released his sturdy blade and sword intents abruptly.

At the same time, as it was determined to counter the attack launched by Darren, the metal creatureunleashed its blade and sword intents as well.

"My blade intent and sword intent are being suppressed!"

Darren murmured to himself while frowning, astounded by what just turned out from the clash ofintents. It was apparent that his blade and sword intents were weaker than that of the metalcreature.

In spite of that, Darren didn't lose hope and continued to fight with the metal creature by usingTeleportation Skill.

One blow after the other, Darren could cut on the metal creature every once in a while. Yet, it was apity that its body was tough and rigid that Darren couldn't break through its defense at all.

"The Sword Intent Storm!

The Blade Intent Tide!" the metal creature called out.

At the onset, after hearing the metal creature summoning such intents, Darren was flabbergasted.He was knocked down with a feather knowing that the metal creature could use martial skills ofblade and sword intent!

Seconds after, a tornado made up of sword intent and waves formed by blade intent evoked beforehis very eyes. Darren was held in awe and was held immobilized at the sight of such devastatingintents. He was so overwhelmed that he couldn't move a muscle. It was as if he was frozen at themoment, and his feet were cemented on the ground.

"Oho! What powerful skills are those! Where in hell are they from?" Darren questioned inamazement, with his mouth gaped in bewilderment. After which, like he was suddenly struck bylightning, he immediately activated his Air-integrated True Rule. Such action in the nick of timeenabled him to dodge off the metal creature's assault.

Boom! Boom!

With Darren invisible by now, the metal creature's attack failed at once. The dark walls around thatsurrounded them began to vibrate, and the ground trembled even more intense this time. In a flash,the dark sky was lit up by numerous strange runes.

Disheartened at the fact that his target was nowhere to be found, the metal creature dismissedcasting its attack and grew vague.

"Hum? Unexpectedly he is a rule cultivator too. That's bizarre,"

the concealed shadow that had been watching the battle from afar said with a satisfied nod.

With the help of his Air-integrated True Rule, Darren transformed into inanimate air. Thus, the metalcreature couldn't locate him even in the slightest sense.

However, the rule was not a permanent solution. Darren knew that he needed to replace a chance tokill the metal creature as soon as he could.

"If I execute the Blood Dragon Phantom, I can lure him with the avatars. Will he be taken in?" Darrenmurmured while staying hidden, unnoticed, and unfelt—close to non-existent.

After a while, he had made up his mind, and Darren created eight avatars. After this, he ordered anavatar to attack the metal creature. The rest of his avatars and he himself used the HurricaneTeleportation Skill to fly away and stay invisible again.

"I will kill you now!"

the metal creature announced as he felt Darren's avatar. At the onset, he immediately launched anattack that was aimless and reckless.

'He has fallen into the trap, ' after seeing such blind-like action by the metal creature, Darrenthought with a smile.

However, when the metal creature started attacking his avatar, Darren showed his real self andactivated all the skills that he had. He had done so believing that it would inflict massive damage onthe creature.

The skills that he had activated included the not just potent, but devastating skills like the dark goldinternal force, the olive-black force, and the Augmented Attack Bloodline, and so on.

Equipped with all his skills and a burning desire to defeat the creature, Darren rushed towards themetal creature, together with the other avatars.

Bang, bang, bang

This space trembled and echoed with constant banging. Hearing this sound, Darren knew that hewas in trouble, for it merely signified that the creature's body resisted his attacks.

After the chaos was over and Darren was panting out of breath, he found all of his attacks fell on apurple cover—shallow and futile.

"I don't expect that the blade and sword intents can form such a powerful defense!”

Darren said with a surprise. That purple cover that the metal creature had was made of the bladeand sword intents. Not in his entire life, Darren had met this kind of defense.

Above all this, one fact remained true, and that was the blade and sword intents of the metalcreature were much better than that of Darren's. Though, Darren doubted that the metal creature'sability to resist his attacks was the contribution of the purple blade and sword cores.

After all of Darren's full skills were blocked, he couldn't figure out other possible solutions on howto defeat the metal creature. He started to panic and grew desperate at once in his eagerness to putan end to the creature's life.

Unlucky for him, Darren didn't grab the opportunity to catch his breath. While he stood theirweighing things out, the metal creature quickly turned into a shadow and dashed straight forDarren again.

Boom!

With one swift blow, Darren swung his blade and sword to resist the metal creature's attack.

One hit and Darren had shaken away. The metal creature didn't stop until Darren was trounced onthe black stone wall. After such a high-impact collision, Darren spewed out a mouthful of blood.

A beat and a blow, Darren was all bloody and wounded in no time. His inner organs had beenswollen, and a burning pain came from inside of him.
