Soon enough, just as they wrapped up with their conversation, two figures came towards them fromthe other end of the palace.

Darren followed the golden-armored law enforcer and stopped in front of Lord Donald. The lawenforcer then remained silent in an empty seat at the left side of the palace, and even his breathwas concealed.

"Darren, will you plead guilty?"

"How dare you!" the old man on the side berated furiously. After a pause, he continued, "Yourattitude was so arrogant even when you are in the presence of our leader. You should kneel andmake a salute, but you didn't. Being so disrespectful is your first guilt!"

Darren's eyes swept over the old man after he heard that. It was not until he saw the old man's facethat he realized that it was this conceited old man who thought he was superior to others.

"Why do you have to be so unreasonable? Let me ask you, why should I kneel when I'm not fromthe Sacred Palace? I addressed Lord Donald respectfully just now. And you interpreted my respectas being arrogant?" Darren answered without hesitation, with a voice that wouldn't be allowed to besuppressed. He was neither in a rushed or slowed speed.

"How dare you! Our Sacred Palace has over billions of human beings under our command. And youdare to say that you are not from our Sacred Palace?" the old man shouted again. This time, hisvoice and his gesture betrayed the hatred that was abundant in his heart.

"How dare you!"

Darren roared back, unable to contain his anger at the same time.

"Lord Donald sent someone to lead me here. Even if I am guilty, he should be the one that has theright to ask me. How about your position in this palace? Is your position even above Lord Donald? Ifyou don't take Lord Donald's position seriously, who do you think is arrogant, you or me?" Darrensaid coldly, stressing out his point. His eyes were filled with scorn towards the old man

"You!" The old man pointed at Darren with fury, unable to speak. His hands were trembling inextreme vexation.

"Well, shut up!" Donald ordered grimly and glared at the old man.

With his attention towards Darren this time, Donald questioned calmly, "You triggered Eddy's angerin the Bottom Spiritual World and made a big mistake, causing the method left by Hiram the Greatto be wasted. How dare you deny it?"

"I dare to deny it!" Darren said boldly as he raised his head, looking neither humble nor pushy.

At the sound of it, Donald's chest heaved. At that moment, he was already annoyed by Darren'sblatant defiance.

"Lord Donald, I'm afraid you have to plead your guilt instead of mine,” Darren continued with anunyielding spirit.

He is a kind of evil ghost, killing countless people and doing numerous evil deeds. You should havepunished him before the incident at the Bottom Spiritual World. However, he didn't receive anypunishments. Furthermore, you just allowed him to feast on other people's souls. Do you admit that,Lord Donald? Just now the old man claimed that the Sacred Palace is in charge of billions of humanbeings, yet it doesn't care whether ordinary people are alive or dead. Do you think it is reasonable?Eddy threatened to kill my sister and me. Shouldn't I resist? as if hitting a bull's eye, Darren snapped. He had seen through every plot in the incident.

Indeed, if the Sacred Palace had sent a strong law enforcer to suppress Eddy, then he would havebeen subdued a long time ago. Consequently, he would never have had the chance to seal thespace passage.
