The constant release of the black flame made Darren feel very uncomfortable, but he was franklyrelieved that the soul power in the black metal ball was weakening overtime.

"Oh, no! I'm running out of time!"

Darren then realized that almost two hours had passed and he would be teleported out of the spacevery soon.

"Boy, won't you please hold on for a little bit longer?" Theodore gazed at Darren with a longingdesire. He was desperate to be free and to finally kill Ulin with his own hands.

"Ulin teleported me in here and only gave me two hours. Once the time is up, I will be automaticallybe teleported out.

But don't worry, sir. I will infuse the black flame into it as much as I can. It is only a matter of timebefore the soul power is totally removed. And I am sure that the time will not last too long!"

Darren replied, determination painting his words of promise.

"Good, good, that's good." Theodore could not help but tremble in excitement. The time he haddreamed of for years would finally come.

"Sir, please catch a diabolic beast for my sake, or he won't be satisfied,” Darren requested.

"Well, of course, young man."

Theodore flew away. A moment later, he came back with two diabolic beasts lying dead in both ofhis hands.

"Are these enough? I will get more if needed.”

"Just one is already more than enough. I don't want Ulin to recover from his injury too fast.”

As long as Ulin was being tortured by his injury, he would be distracted and would buy Darren time.Only in this way would Darren's safety be reassured as Ulin could not replace out Darren had lied tohim.

Darren exerted all of his strength to summon the black flame. Nearly all the black flame in his bodywas called out and soon infused into the black metal ball

"Please wait patiently, sir. I believe you will be able to come out soon,” Darren said with confidence."Well, young man, don't worry. As long as I get out, if anyone dares to even lay a scratch on you, hewill meet death!”

The time was up.

Darren picked up one of the unconscious diabolic beasts and disappeared from this space the nextmoment.

Back outside, the Water Kylin was still lying seemingly lifeless on the ground, feigning death

"Wow! Master, it's you! I thought it was the demon-like man from earlier,”

the Water Kylin acknowledged happily after he realized the person approaching him was justDarren.

"Don't be so careless. He will be coming soon. Keep pretending to be dead.”

"Damn it. How much longer do I have to pretend to be dead? I feel so useless. Let's fight it out," theWater Kylin hissed with resentment.

"Be patient. I believe it won't be too long before we can fight him.”

"Why? Master, did you get stronger?”

"No. I was not talking about me. You should just keep waiting. Now stop talking. Here he comes.”As Darren's voice faded away, a figure was flying down the mountain from a distance.

"Master, I have caught the diabolic beast,” Darren said in a dull, almost empty voice.

Ulin didn't bother acknowledging. He pounced on the diabolic beast like a hungry barbarian andswallowed the blood of the diabolic beast.

In the past, he would always catch a few diabolic beasts in advance as preparation before hisdisease broke out. But this time, his disease broke out much earlier than expected. He did not dareto enter the diabolic beast space due to his serious injury. He was afraid of meeting with Theodorewho had always wanted to kill him, so he sent Darren and the Water Kylin to catch the diabolicbeasts for him.

His appearance went back to normal after he sucked the blood dry out of the diabolic beast, but hisaura was still a little weaker compared to before.

"Very well, slave, if it weren't for you, my life would have been in grave danger." Ulin breathed a sighof relief.

Then his figure disappeared and he entered the space of the diabolic beasts by himself.

It was not too difficult for him to escape the detection from Theodore. And once he fully recovered,there was no need for him to be afraid of the latter.

After Ulin left, Darren realized what was wrong and his heart skipped a beat.

"Oh, no! If he goes in, will he replace out that the black metal ball is currently being damaged?" Darrenthought to himself in horror.

"Get up, Water Kylin! We might be in big trouble!"

Darren told the Water Kylin.

"What's wrong?" the Water Kylin asked.

"Ulin may try and attack us when he comes back. Let's replace a place to hide first," Darren said as hefurrowed his eyebrows in worry.

After thinking for a while, Darren remembered that Ulin kept flying to the same mountain in thedistance, so he decided to look over there.

Darren and the Water Kylin flew towards that mountain.

They searched for the aura left by Ulin and found a cave where a steaming pool was situated at theend of the cave.

"Wow, such a strong Spirit Power!"

The pool was now full of Spirit Power.

"Ulin also has the ability to refine souls. Who knows how many creatures have died here?"

Darren recalled the ways that those soul hunters used, which were similar to this.

Darren didn't care for much. He started to keep assimilating the Spirit Power from the pool.

Darren felt so comfortable after the assimilation of so much pure Spirit Power, and his Spirit Powerwas also rapidly growing.

"Level 28!"

Darren's Spirit Power had reached a new level. There was still much Spirit Power in the pool.

"We shouldn't stay here for too long, or we'll be in trouble once he comes back."

Now Darren was thinking about where they should hide for the time being.

Inside the diabolic beast space.

A demon-like figure flashed continuously.

Within a hundred kilometers, everywhere was messy and there was a large amount of blood dirtyingthe ground.

"Ah!" Ulin licked his lips. After sucking the blood of so many diabolic beasts, he was already sosatisfied. Furthermore, his injury was almost recovered.

"I have no idea as to what Theodore is doing. Maybe I'll go and have a look." He chuckled with asick grin.

As the controller of this space, he soon sensed the aura of Theodore, knowing exactly where he was."What? Why is he staying in front of the controlling ball?"

Noticing something was wrong, Ulin immediately used his Spirit Power to probe information ofwhat was happening.

He was taken aback.

He felt that a small part of his soul power in the ball had vanished.

"Damn it! How did Theodore learn how to remove the restriction?

Then what is it that is burning my soul power?”

Ulin was not afraid of Theodore at all, as he was more powerful than the latter. But if Theodoreescaped and drew the attention of the Sacred Palace, he would be done for.

Thinking of this, the figure of Ulin disappeared from where he stood and reappeared above the cliff."Theodore, how are you?" He gave a demon-like grin.

Hearing this, Theodore turned around suddenly. The killing intent and pure anger reflected in hiseyes seemed to burn the whole world to ashes.

However, a moment later, he calmed down.

"Ulin, you finally dare to come and see me. How much longer are you planning to lock me up? Thehatred between us in the past has been mended by time. Haven't you seen it enough?" Theodoreasked in a voice as calm as the sea.

"Is that so? My dear big brother, I have hurt you so badly before. Do you not hold anger towardsme at the slightest? It does not seem like something you would do," Ulin responded with a faintsmile.

"Tens of thousands of years have passed, and I'm still alive. Why should I still bother about it? Wejust aimed and worked for different intentions and masters,” Theodore replied. He tried to keephimself calm and indifferent for this to work.

He merely said this because he didn't want Ulin to realize that the metal ball was being damaged."Ha-ha, time really will change a person, I see. Though, I didn't expect my former big brother to be aliar now.

You said so much just to cover up the fact that the controlling ball is being destroyed, am I right?”Ulin's expression turned cold, and his eyes were full of malicious light.
