"He's seen through me!"

Theodore exhaled hot aura of the dragon blood as the thought flashed through his mind.

As he was a man of action, Theodore had never resorted to tricks. This was the first time that he hadtried to deceive someone, only to fail.

"Ulin, aren't you afraid that I will kill you?" Theodore asked. Since he had been discovered, there wasno need for him to continue pretending. An instant later, killing intent burst out from Theodore'seyes.

"Ha-ha, man, do you think you can kill me?" Ulin retorted.

"Roar!"

Suddenly, Theodore turned into a huge dragon that was ten thousand feet long. In a flash, dragonclaws flew toward Ulin.

Not one to be defeated easily, Ulin formed a rune sword to defend against the dragon claws.

"This is useless. We have almost the same strength. The winner cannot be decided unless we fight tothe death.

But I'm not stupid enough to fight you to the end. Instead, you will always be my pet, ha-ha,” Ulinsaid.

He poured a little soul power into the metal ball, and then his figure disappeared.

"Howl!"

Theodore was overwhelmed with fury when he saw that Ulin had escaped. Since he had no one tounleash his anger on, he turned to the cliff and lashed out. Several huge stones rolled down fromthe impact of his attacks.

"Ulin, I will tear you to pieces!" Theodore growled at the sky after he returned to his human form.Since the black metal ball had been refilled with new soul power, Theodore's hopes of leaving wereshattered. Moreover, Ulin had discovered this, and the young man outside would probably die.Theodore withdrew his strength and let his body fall on the ground. A loud sound echoed in thespace as a deep black hole appeared on the ground.

Desperation coursed through Theodore when he realized that he couldn't get out.

What he had missed was that even though Ulin had infused another soul power into the metal ball,he could not disperse the black flame that Darren had left there.

It had been three days since Ulin returned to the outer world.

"What a brat! How could he deceive me so easily?" Ulin used his index finger to flip the hair on hisforehead. His eyes were evil and terrible.

After leaving the diabolic beast space, he learned that Darren and the Water Kylin had disappeared.He knew that he had been cheated.

Ulin was so furious that he searched the area for three days. His efforts were in vain as he failed toreplace Darren and the Water Kylin.

As he had accidentally discovered the area, Ulin had no control. Thus, his Spirit Power was unable tocover the entire region.

"Damn it! I'll kill you even if you hide at the ends of the earth!" Ulin said through gritted teeth.

In the cave at the top of the mountain

The pool was steaming.

A series of bubbles rose to the water surface in the pool seconds before two heads appeared."Master, you are so wise! Hiding at the bottom of the pool made it impossible for anyone to detectus with their Spirit Power," the Water Kylin said with a smirk.

"The pool has a strong special restriction to protect its Spirit Power. This also makes it difficult for anoutside Spirit Power to break through. This is why he did not replace us.

But, it's not a permanent solution. Once he returns and enters the pool, he will discover our hidingplace.” Darren frowned. They had avoided being detected for a little while. However, the situationwas not looking good.

"It doesn't matter if we are discovered. We can always fight,” the Water Kylin roared.

"Fight?" Darren glanced at the Water Kylin.

"Don’t beat me, master! I won't fight if that's what you want,” the Water Kylin blurted out when hesaw Darren's expression.

Gradually, they returned to the depths of the pool.

Actually, they didn't hide at the bottom of the pool. Earlier, Darren and the Water Kylin had swumfor about ten kilometers, but they hadn't reached the bottom of the pool yet.

"This is enough, master. I can't hold on anymore,” the Water Kylin said to Darren using his spiritualsense.

"Since we have to hide here for a while, why don't we move forward and explore what's in thepool?" the Water Kylin suggested.

Darren said.

They chose a direction and began marching under the black water.

After a full month, Darren and the Water Kylin found that the surrounding area was beginning tonarrow. Soon, they encountered a hard stone wall.

"Wow. Astonishingly, we have traveled thirty thousand kilometers.” The Water Kylin was surprised.As they didn't dare to use too much strength, Darren and the Water Kylin swam slowly.

"I think it's almost the end.

Can that man still replace us?"
