Chapter 809 Killing The Water Demon King

As soon as Finley led the Fire Kylin away, Darren entered the Black Turtle Shell.

His eyes widened with surprise when he saw many severely injured turtle men lying on the ground.Darren probed, but couldn't sense the Water Kylin.

He probed again, this time for the old turtle man

However, Darren could not sense him either. After looking around frantically, Darren spotted thelittle turtle, who was squatting beside a turtle shell. He seemed to be guarding it quietly, and hisexpression was dull.

Darren rushed toward the little turtle but stopped when he realized that the turtle shell belonged tothe old turtle man.

"What happened? What's wrong with your grandpa?" Darren asked.

Intense hatred reflected in his eyes as the little turtle turned and glared at Darren.

"It's all your fault. If it hadn't been for you, my grandpa wouldn't be suffering right now!" the littleturtle gritted his teeth as he spoke.

"Tell me what happened!" Darren implored. He wanted to know what had happened in his absence.The little turtle, however, didn't say another word. Another turtle man came up to them and said,"After you left, the Water Demon King attacked us. He released his soul sound wave and targetedour leader. Severely injured, he had no choice but to retreat in the shell.

You have no idea how powerful the sound wave released by the Water Demon King's soul can be.Even the clan leader fell to the ground in pain after being hit."

"Alas! If the Water Demon King is not killed, I'm afraid our clan leader will never wake."

Some more turtle men sighed as they approached Darren.

"You mean your leader will be fine after the Water Demon King dies?"

While traveling to the deep sea, Darren came across a skeleton-shaped mountain on the seabed.Many powerful water demons were entering and exiting the mountain.

Darren knew that if he stormed in, water demons would surround him and capture him. He wasunsure of whether he could defeat all the water demons. What also worried him was the prospect ofthe Water Demon King hearing the noise and escaping. That would be a big problem.

Disguising himself seemed to be the only suitable option.

"Even your king doesn't dare to speak with me in this way. If you keep on talking, I will kill you. Ibelieve your king will applaud my action.” The water demons shivered when Darren releasedpowerful pressure.

Darren appeared so fierce and confident that the water demons assumed that he had a friendlyrelationship with their king.

"Yes, sir. Please wait here, and I'll report to my king."

"Reporting to your king will just waste more of my time. Get out of my way. I will replace him myself."Darren didn't wait for the water demons to respond. Instead, he swam straight for the mountain.The water demons chased him, but they didn't dare to stop him.

Darren searched as he swam around the mountain. Finally, he sensed the presence of a powerfulcreature in a cave halfway up the mountain. He guessed it was the Water Demon King.

"Who are you? Stop!"

Someone stopped them as soon as Darren neared the cave.

"Get out! No one is allowed to get close without the king's order.” Darren evaded the two guardsthat were comparable to an inferior holy warrior and rushed inside.

After the shock wore off, the two guards prepared to chase Darren. However, the water demons,who had followed Darren, stopped them.

"Master, please don't go after him. The flood dragon is the king's good friend. He told us he hasimportant matters to discuss with the king.”

"Really? It's a flood dragon. I thought it was a genuine dragon. Then it's fine.”

"Now that you're here, go and inform Barnes the Holy that the king has almost completed allpreparations,” the guard instructed the water demons.

The water demons shrank back with fear at the mention of Barnes, the Holy. Barnes, the Holy, was areal Killing God. Even the king had to kneel to show his respect when in the presence of Barnes, theHoly.

"Hurry up!" the guard shouted.

"Yes, yes, master.” The water demons retreated.

The cave was very deep. Darren had to swim for about a hundred kilometers before he finallyreached a stone palace.

In the middle of the stone palace was a depression, which was surrounded by all sorts of corpses.A huge crocodile lay in the pit, and streams of green energy poured into his body.

"Water Demon King!" Darren roared.

"Why are you so angry? You don't even know me," Darren said.

The Water Demon King stared at Darren in confusion. He thought, “How do I know this dragon?’"Don't be silly. I carried you when you were a child,” Darren said with a smile.

"Who are you?" It was true that the Water Demon King couldn't remember that, and his angersubsided when he sensed the kindness in Darren's words.

"Hey! I am the leader of the Flood Dragon Clan. I can't believe you have forgotten me!"

"Bullshit! I don't know anyone from the Flood Dragon Clan," the Water Demon King growled. Theuncertainty in his gaze made Darren realize that the Water Demon King almost believed his words.What Darren had said about carrying the Water Demon King when he was young almost made theWater Demon King trust Darren.

"Hey, naughty boy! But I will not blame you. Your parents moved with you because of someunforeseen events only a few days after you were born. No wonder you cannot recognize me.Come on. Let me show you something. You will understand after you see it."

Darren appeared relaxed as he swam toward the Water Demon King.

The Water Demon King was distracted by now. He was racking his mind trying to figure out whetherwhat Darren had said was true or not. And so, he forgot to guard against Darren.

Darren had aroused his curiosity with the promise of proof as well. The Water Demon King couldn'thelp but wonder what kind of evidence Darren would show him.

Darren took out something from his Space Ring and placed it on his hand.

"You, little boy, take it and look at it carefully.”

As soon as the Water Demon King grabbed the object, he felt a sudden tearing pain in his heart."Howl!"
