Chapter 810 Going To The Water Kylin Clan

The Water Demon King's heart ached. His breath of life faded quickly.

He was a demon with the strength of a junior holy warrior, so his power was extraordinary. Eventhough he was on the verge of death, he fought on valiantly.

The Water Demon King pierced Darren's abdomen with his sharp claw.

Soul sound waves kept stabbing into Darren's head. The attacks came too quickly for Darren to fendoff.

He dug his dragon claw into the Water Demon King's heart and tore it into pieces.

He thrust his full power onto the Water Demon King's body and watched as the demon wasoverwhelmed by the strength.

Boom!

Blood and flesh spattered all around and the Water Demon King became a bloody heap on thefloor.

"Assimilate.”

Darren assimilated, as he always would after killing a powerful enemy.

He made sure to recover and heal before he headed out.

Everything happened so fast and the water demons outside did not seem to know what hadhappened.

"Lord Flood Dragon, why are you leaving so soon?" The guards outside were confused.

"Humph. That brat said he was busy cultivating. I really wanted to beat him. But, I forgive him. Hetries so hard," Darren said, puffing out his chest.

"Yes, yes. Our king is usually very busy. Please forgive him if he made any mistakes."

The two guards bowed to Darren.

"Well, I will come back to visit him again. I must go. Serve your king well and I will reward youhandsomely.”

Darren was itching to go and dared to take leave right then and there when the guards continuedspeaking to him.

"Wait a moment, master. Our senior is coming. He's a senior holy warrior. Why don't you stay for awhile and speak with him? If you get him on your side, even the Fire Kylin from the Kylin Clan wouldnot stand a chance!” one of the guards said.

"No. That is fine. I will see him in a couple of days.”

Darren thought to himself, “Their senior must be a super powerful cultivator. It would betroublesome if I met him."

Boom!

The skeleton mountain shook and a slim figure appeared in front of Darren.

"What?"

Darren's heart skipped a beat.

"Monkey..." he murmured unconsciously.

The one walking towards them was exactly the same monkey as the one from the Devil Den."What do you know about this monkey?" Darren asked the guard beside him.

"What? Haven't you heard about Barnes the Holy? Hasn't my king told you all about him?" Theguard was surprised by Darren's question.

"Oh, that's him." Darren nodded. "I will leave now. I'll be back again soon."

With that, Darren went away.

The monkey walked to the cave.

"Who is he?" he asked coldly.

"My Lord, he is a friend of the king."

The monkey looked at Darren's retreating form. He shrugged it off and went straight into the cave.Darren flew out of the water demon domain quickly. He was already very far away when he heard anangry roar.

"Graaaaaargh!"

He whirled his head around and saw that it came from the water demon domain.

"Who killed him?"

The monkey stood in front of the cave, huffing ferociously.

"K-killed him? My Lord, what do you mean?"

All the water demons knelt on the ground and trembled.

"It was him!" the monkey said angrily, pointing a shaking finger at the direction Darren took."Argh!"

The Water Demon King was dead, and what he needed no longer existed. He saw no use for theother water demons so he killed them all.

A black mist spread over the whole water demon domain. All the water demons melted into blood,tainting the waves that lapped against the rocks.

The monkey disappeared, chasing after Darren.

In the meantime, Darren returned to the location of the Turtle Man Clan.

In the Black Turtle Shell, everyone surrounded the little turtle, overjoyed.

"It seems that Darren succeeded. The clan leader has finally come to his senses!"

"Master, you must have suffered a lot. Now that the Water Demon King is dead, we don't need tobe anxious anymore!"

"Look! Darren is back!"

The turtle men made way for Darren.

They all knelt down as a sign of their gratitude.

Darren felt embarrassed and asked them all to rise.

"Well, you have finally done a good thing for our clan. Your debt has been repaid.” Even the littleturtle man was grateful to Darren for killing the Water Demon King.

For the longest time, they had been under the mercy of the Water Demon Clan. Even the BlackTurtle Shell could not protect them, which frightened them all. With the Water Demon King dead,they had nothing else to fear.

As for the Fire Kylin, as long as they hid in the Black Turtle Shell, there was no risk to their lives."Darren, how did you kill the Water Demon King? He is very powerful!”

the old turtle man asked curiously. He was limber again, having recovered from the attack on hissoul.

"Hal I just played a little trick and attacked while he was caught off guard,” Darren chuckled.

"That must have been one hell of a trick. He's quite cunning.”

"Ha, not exactly. But, it's great that you are all safe and sound.” Darren didn't say any more.

"You have our everlasting gratitude. From now on, we can live in peace.

By the way, your friend, the Water Kylin, sneaked out to go to the Water Kylin Clan. If the enemiesfigure out who he is, he will be hunted down. You should keep an eye on him," the old turtle mansaid.

"The Water Kylin is such a dunce. I'm going to go look for him now," Darren sighed.

"Don't worry. Give me some time to gather my bearings. I'll come with you!" the old turtle man said."I'm afraid that's not such a good idea, sir. If you go there, I'm afraid that the Fire Kylin will becomemore furious at you."

"Don't say that. I have already offended him. Besides, the leader of the Water Kylin Clan has helpedour clan a lot. I'm preparing to officially declare war on the Fire Kylin Clan!"
