The Fire Kylin could barely defend against the monkey's attacks. The sudden assault from the leaderof the Water Kylin Clan caught him off guard, and he wasn’t prepared to fight back.

"Darren! This monkey has astonishing power! Could he be Barnes the Holy?" Finley asked abruptly."It's not possible. Barnes the Holy earned quite the reputation. Over the past few million years,everyone heard about his skills. This monkey can't compare with him. From what I have heard aboutBarnes the Holy, he can kill a holy emperor!” Darren rejected Finley's suggestion.

"Maybe an unknown force still suppresses him, which is why he can't display his real strength,” theWater Kylin rationalized.

"What the Water Kylin said sounds reasonable,” Finley agreed.

Darren, however, shook his head slightly. He never believed that this monkey could be Barnes, theHoly.

Meanwhile, the war in the distance grew in intensity.

As the monkey placed himself in front of the blue thunder and lightning, his hair stood on his body.Then, he stretched out his hand and hit the patriarch of the Water Kylin Clan.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Although the blue thunder and lightning began to dissipate, the impact exhausted the monkey."Nine Golden Body Skill!"

the monkey muttered as he hovered in midair.

A faint halo enveloped the monkey just as the powerful blue thunder and lightning bombarded hisbody.

He had fought against the monkey before the patriarch interjected. However, not once had the FireKylin managed to hit the monkey. Only then did he realize that the monkey was stronger than hehad imagined.

Powerful and highly defensive, the monkey was invincible in front of the two kylins.

By now, the blue thunder and lightning had dispersed. Of course, the faint halo around themonkey's body had faded as well.

A crisp sound echoed, as though a bell, which had existed for millions of years, was knocked bysomeone.

After the blow, the Fire Kylin retreated as soon as possible. To his surprise, the attack did not hurtthe monkey at all.

On the contrary, the monkey's facial muscles twitched, and he released a long hiss. Then, he turnedhis head, and his eyes were as cold as ice.

The monkey was enraged when he touched his head and found a big bump on it.

"You want to die? Fine! I will fulfill your wish!"

The monkey's voice was so horribly cold that it sent a shiver through the Fire Kylin. The stick thatwas battling the patriarch of the Water Kylin Clan returned to the monkey's hand.

A fiery red hexahedral crystal rose slowly from the Fire Kylin's head.

The dazzling fire pierced the sky, and with the mighty power, it eclipsed the light of the stickshadow.

"What?"

the patriarch of the Water Kylin Clan shouted.

He couldn't believe what he had witnessed. He felt as though he was in a dream-like state when hesaw the fiery red hexahedral crystal.

"That's impossible. That's impossible,”

the patriarch murmured. Then, as though an invisible power was controlling his body, the patriarchbent his front legs and kneeled before the Fire Kylin.

The scene confused everyone in the distance, except for the old turtle man, who stood still andseemed to understand what had happened.

At the sight of the fiery red hexahedral crystal, the ferocious monkey released a sizzling soundbefore retreating tens of thousands of feet.
