Luci POV

She did like that her mother had ruined so much of Victor’s pack, was unhappy about him taking her, but had not known at the time, not until it was all over and Victor was a very lucky man that she had not. Likely would have unleashed all her Triune powers upon him to get her mother back.

She likely was going to at some point and from what she had just heard, Alpha Austin was going to allow her to do so. Perhaps he thought it was a good idea to get rid of Victor, but being a council member, couldn’t actually do it.

Had to follow the Wolfen Council laws.

“Hmm, I think you need to know more about Victor” she heard him state after her mother stopped chuckling.

Luci did know her mother was happy about taking away all of Victor’s women and children. Thought it was fitting, he’d taken her and tried to take Luci, her child, so a little payback, karma Addison style, her mother had put it, had stated “You touch me and my child. ‘ll touch all of yours.” Thought it was very amusing, was very pleased with herself for wounding that man.

“I understend your daughter’s name is actually Lucian?”

Austin interrupted her thoughts.

“Yes, after her father.” Addison nodded. “Why?”

“An Alpha Siren, named Lucian?” he questioned further

“Yes, again why?” Her mother was now frowning

He sighed heavily now and looked right at Addison “Tor

Vale Mere.” He stated softly

“What?” Addison shot to her feet now, surprised Luci completely, as well as Alari. She actually understood those words, they were Siren language and had Alaris’ undivided attention now. “How could you know that?” her mother asked him.

“Mother?” Luci asked

“It’s your father’s pack’s name.” she answered without looking at Luci, her focus was all on Alpha Austin,

“How do

you know that?” she asked him.

“Calm down Addison, I harmed none. But Victor, he took you from that lake you told me yesterday. Had a man there?” he allowed her to think about it for almost a minute before continuing on. “He also fits the description given of the man leading the s*******r of Tor Val Mere.”

“What..When…Who…How?” she was at his feet now, stumbling over her own words it seemed.

“Three survivors. Two children and a baby, cut from its dead mother to allow it to survive.”

“No!” she heard her mother gasp, felt the pain inside of her, and saw her take a staggering step back, clutched at her own chest and seemed to struggle to breathe.

She watched both the boys run right over to their grammy, Luci was on the move as well, felt both Kali and Alari rise to the surface, at their mother’s pain and anguish, learning not only who had done this to her, taken her Mate from her, but there had been children left out there to survive on their own. Shed run away and left them, done what Lucian had told her and left them.

“They are all still there at the lake, safe.” Austin told her, ” Live below the water all the time from my understanding, fled to the north end of the lake as were told to and were raised by a human woman, and old lady that lives there, new of their kind.”

“Valma.” Addi half whispered.

“Yes.” Austin nodded

“I…I was there. I didn’t… Victor took me and..” her words just stopped and she watched her mother ball her fists at her side and saw the glow start to come from her, was going to explode just like Luci herself had. “It was Victor?” she grated out, seemingly just pulled herself together, had cut herself off from her emotions.

“Yes, Addison I believe so, there was never any proof, just a base description but with you being kidnapped from that lake and taken to his pack. I’m inclined to say it was him.” Austin nodded “What you’ve told me about him wanting Luci yesterday, for many years. I’d say he knew who you were all this time. Bided his time, tried to get that mating alliance for himself. Knew Luci was part Siren all the time you’ve known him.”

“I housed that bastard in my pack.” she stated “Fed him.” her eyes turned right to Luci and she knew what she was thinking, it was making Luci herself sick to think of it, shed once had s*x with the man who she now knew had killed he father, slaughtered his whole pack.

“I’ll kill him.” she grated out “TIl f*****g kill him.” she suddenly roared into the room.

Both Rafe and Jack were on the move to snag the boys, who were suddenly growling all menacingly, were being affected by her mother’s emotions. She watched as they fought against Rafe and Jack as they tried to stop themselves from being taking away from their Grammy, when they tried to pick them up and move them away to calm them down.

Luci looked worriedly at them, knew all three of her beasts were on the surface.

She needed to try and calm the boys,

but Kali and Alari were furiously mad along with Addison.

She knew if the boys had not been here in this room, she herself would be as mad as her beasts. It was all starting to affect her boys, they were feeling not just their grammy anymore, but Kali and Alari.

‘Alari, pull us together, the boys, we can’t have them explode, saw Alari look at them while Kali was focused on their mother hugging her into her and telling her that it was all going to be okay, they were going to punish that man, to calm down she would get to see Victor die. She needed everything to calm down for one minute to settle the boys and then she and her mother could deal with this.

They were going to deal with it, what she had thought the other night was going to happen. She was a Triune and she was going to take herself and her mother right to that man and they were both going to kill him. Then her mother just yanked herself from Luci’s arms and banged right out of the office. She could feel her running away at full wolfen speed heading south through the pack, going off to get Victor all by herself.

The boys were still fighting against Rafe and Jack, when she turned and look at them, she was torn right this minute, between what she had learned and how the boys were reacting. They understood putting them to sleep was likely the best option but she needed them to settle.

Stepped over to them and reached out for them pulled them both right into her, and felt both Rafe and Jack curl their arms around her and the boys as well. All three of them trying to keep them calm.

“Grammy is grieving, she is okay.” She tried to tell them.

“Angry. Hurt.” They both stated right back.

“Yes, and I am going to fix it. I need you two to calm down, stay here with your daddies. Kali, Alari and I, we will go and help her.” she could already feel them calming down. The effect her mother’s emotions had on them lessened the moment she was out of their sight. Their connection to her was different to her own, to them. They could always feel what she was feeling. But could only feel what their Grammy felt if she was in sight of them. Heard them start crying “Pain, Mamma.”

“Yes,” she didn’t deny it. She too, right this minute, had pain. Alari herself had pain knowing who had killed her father, all her kin. That there were survivors in that lake.

She had family, kin of her own up there in Tor Vale Mere, kin that needed her, their Alpha. “We will bring them home.”

She told the boys “Go to your fathers. I have to go to your Grammy.” She leaned back and looked at them. With every second that was passing she could feel her mother getting further away from them. Kali was actively tracking her tether.

She touched their faces gently “This is my and Grammy’s fight. Not yours, you will stay here with your daddies.” All three of them stated, looking at the boys.

She saw their eyes look right up at her, and both of them touched her face, knew why they had three sets of eyes looking at them, saw their own eyes change to all black and then they each had two iris’s in each of their own eyes; little Rafe, one red and one blue, and Jack one red and one green.

Triunes, black for their Siren, Red for their Alpha Wolf and the Blue and Green that was their human, the witch part of them. “Beautiful. Now stay here, be calm and in control.” She knew everyone in this room was seeing it, there was nothing she could do about it.

Looked to Rafe and then Jack “Go, they both stated “we’ll stay with the boys.”

“Hannah won’t be here to help.”

She saw Rafe smile. “We’ve got them, trust us Luci.” He touched her face “Do what you and Addison need to and come home to us.”

She nodded, kissed both boys and then was just gone, blipped herself right out of that office and to her mother, who was nearly half way to the gate already in her fury-fuelled run towards Victor’s pack. Appeared right in front of her and let her crash right into her, wrapped her arms around her mother as they went tumbling over each other.

Held onto her mother, “I’ve got you,” she whispered and heard her own mother just burst into tears, finally let it all out. Moved them to Hannah’s garden and just sat there with her and held onto her. Allowed the magic of the place to help calm her. There was a better and quicker way to get to Victor. Her mother just needed to calm down so it could be explained to her.

The man who had killed Lucian and ruined her mother’s happy life had been Victor Sampson of the Bloodless Moon. A man who knew this and strolled around inside Nightfall like he’d done nothing wrong to her for the past 27 years. Her mother had to treat him with respect and entertain him inside her pack, cater to his food and accommodation preferences. Only to now know who he truly was. A monster of the worst kind.

She saw Hannah and her sisters coming this way and looked at them. They already knew, and she knew it.

Watched Hannah sink down and tilt her mother’s face up to look at her “It is time now, Addison. You are fully realised now; you can kill him now. Accept us, be part of the coven, of the light kingdom of witches. We will all go with you and Luci. Our Queen Jo-anne, myself and my sisters. To protect you from his pack, stop all that would interfere.

Just you against Victor”

“I’ll kill him myself, I don’t need you.” she grated out.

“You do, you won’t get near him, Addi, without us all there, hell pit everyone there in that pack against you, you’ll never get to him alone. Hell wear you down until you’re exhausted and then…have you for himself before killing you. I don’t want that, that’s why I never told you, why none of us told you. He’d win in the end.”

Luci was staring at Hannah horrified, she understood those words, hed have her, would use her body for himself. could feel her own anger welling up at just the thought of it. “Let us help you, Addison. He can not win against all of us.”

She watched her mother just sit there and look at Hannah for a long time, “The babies, I just…I left them.” she suddenly burst out. “I left them there.”

“They are safe waiting for you to return for them,” Hannah sighed. “Only one had seen your light before, and it has been a long time. He didn’t recognise it was just a little Siren. Didn’t understand what it was, took the two girls and fed north to protect them.”

“I need to get them.”

“We’ll take you.” Hannah sighed heavily now “I’m sorry

Addison, we can only do so much. Help so many at the one time…Luci, she had to come first…Piper.” She sounded sad.

“We couldn’t help, needed Jo-anne for that. Getting her here inside this pack was not easy.”

“You could have just gone to her.”

“No, we couldn’t. Her mother is like your mother, but it was our brother who hurt her, our evil brother is Jo-anne’s father, we couldn’t, Belinda does not want to know us.”

“Now?”

“Not even now, Belinda will not accept us at this time, knows now who we are. That Jo anne also knows, but still it’s unseen if she’ll ever be our kin.”

“My Sirens?”

“Do you want to get them or deal with Victor first?” Hannah asked simply.

Luci sighed now. She understood right away, being part Siren she knew that if they went and got those three Sirens first. Her mother would need to be here with them, so would Alari to settle them into the pack and a new Lake, meet everyone. It could take days or weeks even.

Victor, on the other hand, they could go now, Hannah could take them right to him. She’d wondered if she could do it herself, kill that man, felt a hand on her shoulder, it was Aalyiah, smiled down at her “Jo-anne has thought the same, seen it even herself now. Together we can go and rid the world of the evil that is Victor. No-one else will be harmed, like with you the other night.”

Luci nodded “Mother?”

“I don’t know.” She half whispered, was torn and Luci knew

Looked right at her, had never seen her mother this broken before, nodded her head “It’s my decision to make, I am Lucian’s daughter, Alari is the Alpha to Tor Vale Mere.

Victor first.” She stated firmly “Then our Siren Pack, replace our family and bring them here, to our home, a new lake for a new beginning.” She touched her mother’s face and looked down at her. “Mother, we will kill him, for father, for family.” She stood and helped her mother up “You will show father, how strong you are. That you love him still, have never let him down.”

Her mother nodded.

“Yes, show him that I did what he told

me to do, protect you.”

“And you did mother, with all of your heart. You have never stopped loving me, raised me to be who I am, allowed me to flourish and smiled at me always, never chastised me.

Just loved and protected me.”

“I always will Luci.” She nodded, then turned to Hannah. “I will join the coven, become a part of the light witch’s kingdom.”
