Chapter 12

EVANS POV

When the bell for lunch rang, I was happy because I was starving and was getting tired of the boring class.

"Hey man we should hit the cafeteria fast, I don't know about you guys but I'm starving and I need food." Smith said holding his stomach. "Bro you actually read my mind. For real am feeling so hungry also." I said as I packed my books.

I was about to stand up when Juliet entered my classroom.

"Hello Evans. Hey you guys." she greeted as she blinked her fake eyelashes that were so long. I wonder how she copes with it.

"Hello juju your here early." I said as Nate and Smith ignored her greeting.

"Well our teacher left early so I decided to just come here." she said.

"Erm bro we will head to the cafeteria now. I'm starving and I can't wait for you so bye." Smith said before walking away with Nate behind him.

Okay now that's weird. I wonder why they are being like this.

I turned to Juliet. I will just ask her maybe she knows something.

"Hey Juliet I couldn't help but notice the rest of the guys don't talk to you anymore. Like you guys ignore each other presence. Did something happened in my absence?" I asked her.

"Of course not. Nothing happened at all. Don't mind them maybe they are just being like that because your back." she said.

But I knew she was lying. How did I know, well she didn't look me in the eyes while she was talking and she was scratching her arms. That's her usual habit which I noticed when she is telling a lie.

I let out a sigh. That means I have to force it out of the guys.

"Alright then let's go and eat something, I'm starving." I said as I stood.

But it was like the whole world was against me. I was stopped by our head teacher who wanted me to and complete my registration. I had to follow him to his office.

The registration process was long but I was able to finish it before they rang the bell for classes. I rushed to the cafeteria and didn't wait on the queue. I walked passed those waiting and went to the front roll and ordered my food. They couldn't say anything because I was going to be their alpha.

After collecting my tray, I looked round to see if I could replace Smith and Nate. I couldn't see them anywhere. I was about to give up when I catch a glimpse of Nate blonde hair. I began to walk to them. Why did they decide to stay in this kind of place that is so secretive? I wondered.

As I was walking to them, I saw they weren't three sitting on round table but four. I could tell from the light brown hair that it was a lady but I couldn't see her face as she was looking down. 'Who is she and how does she know my friends?' I thought.

She raised her head then looked at Smith before she let out a very beautiful heart melting smile on her face. Wow she looked so beautiful. She is so....... Wait a second I know that face. Isn't that?

I felt anger rush inside of me.

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?" I said. I could feel the anger in my voice also.

I watched as my friends all looked up to look at me but that Omega didn't raise her head instead she bend it very well. She was trying to avoid me as she has been doing.

Yes I noticed her in the morning and I noticed that whenever she was walking on my path and she sees me coming, she runs to another path.

I was happy she was avoiding me because I didn't know how to face her after what happened at that restaurant but now I don't give a shit. I was so angry but the surprising thing is that I'm not angry at her. My anger is directed to Smith instead. I couldn't understand why I was feeling like that.

"Oh hey man your here. Well we are eating that is what's going on here." Smith answered.

I felt like breaking his bones. I didn't know why.

"I can see that clearly but why is she her." I asked eyeing the Omega.

"Oh well she was here when we joined her. She's Angel's friend and Angel was eating with her so we joined them." Nate explained.

Wait what? Why will Angel be friends with her when they are not in the same category. That's absurd.

"Angel why will you decided to be friends with someone like her? Like I don't get. Can't you be friends with other girls like for example Juliet?" I asked.

I noticed Smith rolled his eyes when I mentioned Juliet and Nate had a dark look on his face.

"No I can't be friends with Juliet. I hate her character and can't cope with her. Rosie is better than her." Angel replied.

"Then why don't you just be friends with Rosie abd leave this Omega alone before she rubs it on you." I said glaring at her but she didn't see me as her head was still down.

Smith laugher made me turn to him. I saw Angel smiling and Nate was chuckling. What's their problem? What is funny?

"Why are you guys laughing?" I asked.

"oh nothing don't worry I will do what you have instructed. I will only be friends with Rosie." Angel said trying to hold her laugher in.

Why do I feel like there is more to this statement? It felt like they were mocking me or will I say making fun of me.

Smith turned to the Omega making me pissed off more than I was earlier. I wonder why his sitting next to her or isn't her body odor disturbing him?

'Maybe she doesn't have body odor' my inner mind said.

"Alright you heard our friend and alpha to be. He commanded us not to make friends with a Omega but we should only be friends with Rosie and it will be wrong to disobey him so sorry we can no longer be friends with you." Smith said.

I put a Big smile on my face. Now that's my friend. He sure is royal. But why isn't he standing up already? I thought.

I watched as he stretched his hand to the Omega.

"Hello Rosie,my name is Smith and I don't mind if we become friends. What do you say? Remember you can't refuse because the alpha to be ordered it."

Wait a minute. What is actually going on here? Is the Omega girl Rosie? Damnit can't believe I was fooled.

I turned to see them laughing at me except for the Omega who's name is Rosie. Well her name is beautiful but she is not. I wonder if her parents were blind when they were giving her that name.

"I just lost my appetite thanks to you guys." I said with a frown on my face.

"Don't blame us for anything. You should know all your members by their names. You should stop calling her Omega Evans, she may be one who that doesn't mean you should be mean to her." Nate said.

I felt anger boil my blood. How dare he tries to lecture me? Who does he think he is? I felt so angry that my friends are against me because of her. Not only did she take my wolf away from me but now she has taken my friends too. Why will such a weak girl cause me so much trouble?

"You don't have the right to tell me what I should do to people I don't care about. I will let you go for today but tomorrow I won't be nice at all." I warned Nate who said nothing.

I turned to the Omega. Now I think it's time for us to talk.

"You Omega follow me." I commanded and left my tray on their table before walking away. I could hear her footsteps as she was walking behind me. I walked out of the school building then went to the school garden. I sat on the chair that was there for relaxation. I waited for her to arrive and stand in front of me because she was walking slowly.

After she stood in front of me with her head bent, I looked at her from head to toe. There was nothing special about her but I don't get why my wolf and friends are interested in her.

"Are you happy now?" I asked her.

She finally raised her head to look at my face. She had a confused look on her face like she was wondering what exactly I meant.

"Are you going to answer me or not?" I asked her.

"Sorry I don't understand your question." she said slowly.

"Are you happy that my friends are now friends with you?" I said.

She was about to speak when I interrupted her.

"Look I don't know what plans you have in your dumb brain but let me make this clear to you we will never be mates even if you decide to be friends with my friends, we will never be mates do I make myself clear?" I warned her.

She nodded her head not saying anything. So weak as I expected.

I stood up and walked to her.

"Listen to me, if anyone hasn't told you before, I will tell you myself. There is absolutely nothing special about you. You are just nothing but a weak Omega. So don't feel like you have achieved something because you are friends with the soon to be beta and also the soon to be gamma and his mate. You are still the weakest and your ranks still stays the same. If you know what's best for you, I suggest you stay away from them because your nothing but an embarrassment to them."

I watched as a tear slipped from her eyes before she cleaned her face still trying to act strong. But I was never going to fall for that.

"But it's not my fault I'm in the Omega rank so I don't get why you are so mean to me. I didn't put myself in that rank," she said.

Oh so she can talk back.

"I forgot it's not your fault but it's your parents fault for bringing someone like you into this world and also leaving you in this world. That's very generous of them for leaving just like that. I can...."

And I was interrupted in the most shocking and unexpected way. The stings I was feeling made it very clear what just happened.

She fucking slapped me.
