MIRA POV

was big and soft. Also there is.... Wait why is there an IV on me??

I opened my eyes feeling very weak only to see myself in a strange room. I looked confused as I began to wonder where I was and how I got here. Although the place doesn't look that bad. It was a big room with a nice couch and I can also see a television. The bed 'What am I'm doing here? Was I kidnapped and used as a lab rat or something?' I thought feeling scared.

I tried to think what was the last thing that happened to me before I ended up here.

I remembered talking to Landon for a while before I.... Wait did I pass out or what?

The door opened making me to sit up in defence mode. Mum entered and when she saw me she began to smile as she walked to me. When I saw her I calmed down.

"Its a good thing you are awake Mira dear. You gave us a scare when you passed out." she said as she sat on a chair that was next to my bed.

"I'm sorry for scaring you all. I also didn't know what happened to me." I said to her.

"Don't worry it's nothing serious. The doctor has examined you and he said it's not a serious illness. You just need enough vitamins and rest." she said.

I let out a sigh of relief when she said it wasn't serious. I was scared it was a very serious illness.

"So when can leave this place?" I asked her.

"When you have finished all your IV you can leave. And he will have to examine you first before he let you go." she answered.

"But where is this place?" I asked looking around confused.

"This is a hospital ward dear." she replied.

"Wow a hospital ward. Never in my life have I ever gone to a hospital. I never expected a hospital to be this big and beautiful." I said looking around with a smile on my face. Mum laughed as she shaked her head.

"Actually this place is big and beautiful is because it's a VIP ward. The other wards around like this." she said.

"Ohh but why did you bring me to a VIP ward? I'm sure it's very expensive Mum. You didn't have to spend a lot when I won't be staying here for long." I said to her.

"Calm down Mira dear. This ward is meant for only the alpha and his family. And since you are family, you are entitled to be here too. So don't worry about the expenses. Just get better so we can stop worrying about you." she adviced me.

I need to be strong. I can't be falling sick this way. It's a good thing Landon isn't here..... Wait a minute, I forgot about Landon.

"Mum please hope no one told Landon that I'm here? I don't want him to be worried about me." I said to her.

She gave me a small smile.

"Well about that, you see we didn't tell him anything. He was on the phone with me when Luca entered my room and announced that you have passed out. I tried to tell him not to worry that we would take care of you but he refused and insisted that he will rush back home. Infact it got worse when he was dragged to be locked up, his wolf went wild so they had to let him go. His on his way here." she said.

Oh my. What will I do with him? Why didn't he just believe them when they said I was fine? Now his on his way here. His coming here.

I tried to hide my smile when I realized that Landon was on his way here. I'm going to see him. I couldn't help but be happy that he was coming.

The door opened making me turn to see if he was the one who has arrived already only to be disappointed to see Luca's emerald eyes staring back at me.

"Hello Mira. I know you aren't happy to see me but still I am happy to see you. I'm happy your eyes are opened now. Don't ever faint on me again. I was really scared when I saw you weren't moving or talking." he said as he walked to me with Grey following him behind.

"Sorry for scaring you it won't happen again. And that's for coming. You too Grey, thanks for coming." I said to the both of them.

"Its fine. Hope you are feeling better now?" Grey asked looking at me with a worried look on his face.

"I am fine now." I said to him.

"That's good to hear really." Luca said letting out a sigh.

"Well what about...." I was interrupted by a low growl and a very loud angry voice.

"WHY THE FUCK IS SHE? LET ME IN OR I RIP YOUR HEADS OFF."

I looked around wondering who was that because I have never heard such voice before and to say it has so much authority.

"He really came in angry. Let me rush outside and calm him down myself." Luca said before leaving the room.

I was confused because I didn't know why he was going or was it because he is the alpha son? But who is the angry person that just came? I just laid on the bed still wondering what was happening outside my door.

"LUCA GET AWAY FROM MY FUCKING WAY AND DON'T YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN. I NEED TO SEE HER RIGHT NOW." I heard the intruder say.

I was shocked by his words. How dare he call Luca by his name and who gave him the right to talk to him like that. He has to be punished whether it's his fault or his wolf. It's non of my business.

The door opened with a loud bang that I was scared that the door was now damaged.

I watched as a man who was only wearing shorts stood looking so angry. His eyes were so black that I couldn't see any white inside them. It was like he was possessed. He looked like my Landon but the person standing in front of me isn't Landon. It's a strange and dangerous person.

I watched him as he looked around the room and immediately his eyes landed on me, it didn't move away. He slowly began to walk to me. I knew I supposed to be scared but to my greatest surprise I wasn't scared at all.

"Buttercup." he whispered. That's when I realized that he was actually Landon. He sat on my bed and pulled me up for a hug. He began to breath in my scent as he panted. He slowly began to calm down but he didn't let me go until he was fine before he realized me. He looked at me every where searching for any other injury.

"Landon why were you shouting like that? Didn't you know you were disturbing the peace of the hospital?" I asked him.

"Am sorry buttercup. I couldn't help myself from being scared when I heard something happened to me. My wolf took over before I knew it. I'm sorry if I startled you. I just wanted to see if you are fine and I'm glad that it was nothing so serious." he said as he pushed my hair to the other side. "Am fine Landon as you can see. You didn't have to come over here." I said to him.

"I know you are fine buttercup but you laying down on the hospital bed means you aren't fine at all." he said.

"I am very fine. I don't feel sick anymore." I said to him.

"Landon she is fine because we have all being taking care of her. And welcome back since you entered and didn't notice your mother." Mum said.

Landon left my side and walked to him mother.

"Mum I'm sorry I didn't greet you first. I was worried about Mira I didn't notice that you were here." he said to her as he hugged her.

Mum hugged him back and rubbed his back gently.

"It is good to have you back although it isn't holiday yet. Oh my poor baby. Look at you looking all slim. Aren't they feeding you well over there! Why do you look so skinny? I don't like this." Mum said looking at him with a bothered look on her face. I observed him also and noticed that she is was right. He actually looked so slim. Could he be having a hard time in his alpha academy?

"Mum they are feeding us well. I have reduced a little bit yes but it's not because of the food it's only because I have been busy exercising." Landon said to her.

"Please quit exercising I don't like how you look so lean." mum said.

"Mum don't worry I will add a little soon but not now." he said to her smiling.

"If you say so then I will let you do what you want to do. We will leave you to have a little privacy with your mate. Luca and Grey let's go and leave this two alone. I know they have been waiting for us to leave since. We shouldn't waste their time again." Mum said making me smile as Landon laughed.

"Mum you are the best. Thank you and I love you." Landon said to her.

"Of course am the best mom ever. You three are very lucky to have someone as amazing as I am." Mum said with her head high as she walked out of the room.

Luca walked to Landon and pat his back three times.

"Welcome back Don." he said to him.

"Thanks Luca. We will talk later. Right now I just want to be with my mate so please leave us." Landon said impatiently.

"Wow you are sending me away in a hurry only because of your mate. It's fine. I won't say much. You both enjoy yourselves." Luca said. I showed him my tongue as I was trying to mock him. He only glared at me but didn't say anything before he and Grey finally left the room leaving just Landon and I. Landon didn't waste any much time to kiss me. Now this is much much better. I have been waiting for that for so long. I thought as I kissed him back.
