Chapter 203

MIRA POV

"Do you need me to get you anything? Like something to eat or drink?" Landon asked as he played with my hair. We were cuddling each other on the big hospital bed which contained the both of us. "No I don't need anything. I don't want you to go anywhere. Just stay here with me." I said holding him tightly.

"Am glad it's nothing so serious. I'm talking about your health buttercup. I feel so at rest seeing you talking and all fine although the sight of your with this IV is painful." he said looking down.

I raised my head and placed a peck on his nose.

"Don't be sad about me. Remember I'm a strong girl and I can handle anything. This is nothing at all. After the IV the doctor said I can go home so don't worry." I said to him.

"I can't wait so I can take you home." he said.

"But what about school? You have to return back you know." I said to him.

"I'm not leaving until I'm very sure that you are fine." he said.

"But Lan...."

"No buts buttercup. I'm not leaving you." he said firmly not giving any room for argument.

"Alright fine. I'm just worried that you might be punished but I actually love the fact that you are here. At least I can get to hold you like this." I smiled at him.

"I don't know how am going to cope without you when I return back to school." he said sadly.

I played with his hair.

"You will do just fine without me that I'm sure. You have started and I know you will end it well." I said to him.

"I don't think I can leave you now. Am was thinking of talking to my dad to replace a way if I can get an apartment that's close to the academy. So you will stay there and I will leave the dorm and stay with you. I will be better that way if it happens." he said. "But I thought your dad couldn't do anything before that's why you left without me?" I asked.

"Yes but now it's different. We didn't know you use to fall sick and besides you are human so you need me more right. If we talk to dad about this I think he might accept that you follow me."

He didn't know how his words has given me so much hope because I honestly didn't want him to leave me again. I don't think I can do anything without him. No matter how hard we tried, we failed because our mate bond is so strong. I just hope that Dad will do something about this. I want to be with him and stay with him wherever he goes.

"I just hope Dad agrees because I'm scared." I said to him shutting my eyes.

"What are you scared of?"

I opened my eyes immediately when I heard Dad ask. I honestly didn't hear when he entered. I looked at the door to see him and mum standing together.

When did they both enter? Was the door opened before or did they open it theirselves? I couldn't stop the questions from coming.

"Mira you haven't answered my question dear? What is it that you want me to accept?" Dad asked looking so calm.

I was shaking inside as I looked at him. I didn't know whether to tell him or not. I looked at Landon for help.

"Dad actually Mira and I were wondering whether if there's any possible way for me to rent an apartment just outside the gates of the alpha academy and we both stay together because we can't be apart from each other ever again." Landon said answering for me. Dad didn't say a word, he just walked into the room holding mum's hand as they both sat down on the couch.

"So you are saying you want to rent an apartment where you and Mira can live in that is close to your alpha academy because you both can't stay apart anymore, is that it?" Dad asked still sounding so calm.

Now I don't know whether to be scared or relaxed because of how calm he is.

"Yes Dad." Landon answered.

"And why can't you be apart from each other? You both have been apart before so what's the difference now?" Dad asked.

"Dad you know my mate is human, she easily gets sick and me knowing she's sick and I'm in a place that isn't close to her is really frustrating and annoying. I was so scared as I ran here to see her. I couldn't help but think of the worst. I don't want that to happen again. I need her to be by my side." Landon said.

Dad thought about what he said for a while before he picked his phone. I was wondering what he wanted to do only for him to dial a number.

"Hello Alpha Ryan. Evans speaking." he said.

"Oh yes Rosie is fine and so is everyone. Well sorry to bother you but I really need a favour from you." he said before he pause to hear what the person on the other line said before he spoke again. "Well it's my son. I told you about his mate and everything. Right now there seems to be a problem."

"ohhh noo it's not a serious one. Just that my son's mate fell ill because of her nature. Landon and his wolf has refused to stay far from her side because they want to protect her always. It seems that those two mate bond has gotten so strong like we predicted." Dad said and waited for a reply.

"Thank you for your concern. She is doing fine although we are still at the hospital. So yes about that, I was thinking if there's any way we can get an apartment from them just outside the academy since it's hard to get one inside the academy." Dad said and waited for another reply. I felt so anxious as I began to hope deep down that this alpha Ryan who ever he his will accept what Dad has said.

"Thank you so much. I will be waiting for your reply." Dad said before he hanged up.

"I just spoke to Alpha Ryan we have to wait for some few minutes so he can talk about it with the rest superiors before he calls us and tell us the decision that has been made. Whatever the decision is Landon please let's just respect it. I know it will he hard for you but you should learn to keep it in." Dad said to Landon.

"Dad I honestly can't stay without Mira. If they can't do anything then I'm ready and willing to drop out so I can be next to my mate." he said to Dad looking so serious and not smiling at all which clearly means that he wasn't just making empty threats, he actually means every word he said just said.

"Don't worry son, I'm sure it won't get to that. You don't have to worry about anything. I'm sure we will get a positive reply. I also believe that you two should stay together especially now that you both mate bond is getting stronger." Dad said. I smiled knowing that he too is on our side. That's all that matters.

"Thanks Dad. You approving means alot to me." Landon said to his Dad.

"Mira hope you are happy now that I have accepted your request?" dad asked looking at me.

I blushed when I remembered that he actually heard me earlier.

"Now Landon since your here I think you both should rest already. I left you both to rest but you kept on talking without doing what I said. Landon I'm sure you need rest from running and Mira also needs rest to get well." Mum said.

"Sorry Mum. Promise right now we are both going to rest together. We won't stay up again." Landon said.

"I will come and check up on you both. If I replace out that you both are busy talking instead of resting, I will send you home Landon so that you can leave Mira to rest." she said to him.

She and dad left the room leaving us alone again

After some minutes have passed with us not saying anything, Landon broke the silence.

"So what are we going to do now! I'm feeling bored?" he said.

"Where you deaf when mum mentioned that we both needed rest and that we will be punished if we not listen to her?" I said to him.

"You don't worry about what Mum said. I'm so sure she was only saying it. There's no way she will actually punish us like that. I feel so relaxed. We are alone right now and I don't want us to be apart ever. This Ryan Man should please call my dad and give him the final answer. I'm so eager to hear it." he said.

"Me too. I can't rest without thinking about it. I hope it won't take so long before we get a response from him." I said to him.

"Stop worrying about everything. I will make you to sleep, how's the sound of that. When you wake up I will tell you the results. You need rest more than I do right now so you should sleep first." he said to me. I shaked my head fast.

"No we will hear the results together. I won't sleep if you aren't going to sleep now." I told him. "But buttercup you....."

I interrupted him not wanting to hear him out because I am not going to change my mind. Never.

"No Landon I'm not going to listen to you so just spare your strength from trying to talk me out of it cause my answer is still the same thing. I'm not going to sleep without you and that's final."

He let out a sigh and pulled me close to him.

"Fine I won't pressure you. Let's rest together then." he said.

We laid on the bed in silence. I don't know how long we stayed on the bed not saying a word to each other. The door opened and Dad entered. We both quickly sat up on the bed.

"Alpha Ryan just called me. He said he has discussed with his partners and they have decided to allow Landon get a house outside the academy for both you and mira." he said smiling. I couldn't hold my excitement in as I let out a loud scream.
