Chapter 205

MIRA POV

Moving to another place is like a huge adventure for me. It feels so exciting to finally leave my pack. Never would I ever think or dream that one day I will leave my pack but look at me now. I felt the shift that makes someone knows that they are out of the territory. I kept staring at the window to admire the other world outside my pack territory. "Buttercup aren't you tired of looking left and right? Your neck is going to hurt if you continue doing that." I heard Landon say making me to turn to look at him.

"Sorry I can't just help it Landon. It feels so unreal being outside of the pack. Everywhere is looking so strange in my eyes although it's still normal to what I have seen in our pack." I said to him.

"I get but I just care about your neck. I don't want you to hurt it with the way you keep turning left and right." he said.

"Alright I will be careful." I smiled.

"Much better." he smiled back at me.

The car kept on moving and I was having the best fun looking around. Even the people we passed looked so different to me. Everything was so nice. I am so grateful that I found Landon really. Maybe I would still be locked out in that prison of mine if not for him. I don't know how many hours has passed but I feel this journey is a really long one. If this is how far it is with a car, then.......

I quickly turned to Landon who's eyes were shut maybe he was having a nap or something. But that wasn't my problem. I have to wake him up and ask him something very important.

"Landon wake up." I shake him making him to open one eyes first before he opened all his eyes. He looked around looking confused.

"What's wrong buttercup?. I thought we have arrived already." he asked.

"We haven't arrived yet because it seems that this journey is a long one." I said to him.

"Of course it is." he said not getting my point at all.

"You know it's this long yet you ran home not just once but twice. What were you thinking Landon? You shouldn't stress your body like that. I can't imagine how many hours you ran to come home." I said to him.

He smiled at me and pulled me to him. I rested my head on his chest as he played with my hair.

"Buttercup you shouldn't be worried. It was nothing. Running home to see you was absolutely nothing to me. Infact it was worth everything. Besides have you forgotten that I'm strong and big. I also have a very fast speed so it didn't take me so much time to come home." he said.

"How can I forgot that you are my big boy? But still the distance is much. It's a good thing now I will staying with you. You don't need to be running to see me. And I won't be worried about you." I said as I played with his shirt button.

He placed a kiss on my forehead making me to close my eyes as I felt a tingle in my stomach.

"Now that I have answered you can we please sleep now because we still have a long way to go and I want to sleep holding you this close." he said.

I smiled and nodded.

"Alright my big baby. I am actually feeling tired of turning left and right. I will also join you to sleep. Besides your chest is really a nice pillow." I said closing my eyes.

"Sleep now. I will wake you up when we arrive." he said.

I didn't hear the next thing he said but I was sure he said something before I slept off.

I had a beautiful dream. I was happy and smiling as I stood and watched the people I love surrounding me. I could see mum's face, dad's face, Layla's face, Luca's face, Layla's mate Calvin's face also, Grey's face, the Beta and his family's face, the gamma and his family face too. We were having like a picnic outside and we were talking, eating, and laughing. I was in Landon's arms as I watched with a bright smile on my face how happy we all were.

I felt someone shaking me gently making me open my eyes. I looked up to see the only face I love to see everyday.

"Sorry buttercup. It seems you were really enjoying your sleep because you won't stop smiling but I'm sorry we are here." he said softly.

I raised my head and looked around. Our car was packed right in front of a like a cottage house which looks beautiful.

Landon and I got down from the car. Landon collected my luggages from the driver and we both walked into the cottage. Inside was so comfy and beautiful. This is not how I expect my dream house to be but it was very close and I love it. I think I will enjoying staying here.

"Lets go on a tour to see the rooms and all before we settle down. How about that?" Landon said.

"I totally agree with you." I said firmly.

We began to walk. We first went to the kitchen and I must say although the kitchen wasn't so big, it was the perfect size for just Landon and I. Surprisingly it was stocked with equipments alright so no need to buy them. Our next stop was the first room we saw at the corner. It looked at a guest room. There was a bed and a wardrobe inside and I could see a door that leads to the toilet I think. We walked to another room which looked like a library and office at the same time. There was a shelf and a desk and chairs. We walked out of the room and went to the last door. We opened it and it was our bedroom. Unlike the first room we saw that's the guest room, this room looks bigger. There was a queen's bed in the middle of the room with a large wardrobe by the side. The windows were big and the air coming in was so refreshing. This is a perfect house. I love it. No much space just enough for both Landon and I. "What do you think about the place?" I asked him.

"I was just about asking you the same thing. Buttercup I want to know if you like the place or not. If you don't then I will request for a change of house. I want you to be happy in the place first. Anything you are fine with I am also fine with it too. Besides my home is with you." he said looking at me.

I smiled at his sweet words.

"You are so sweet. Well I love this house. You don't need to request for a change. This house is lovely and I will enjoy it here." I said to him.

"That's good. You approving it means I also approve it also. Hold on let me go and talk to the driver outside so he can leave." he said before leaving.

I looked around again and began to take note of what I will change. There is no way I will stay in the house just the way it is. At least I will change it to my own taste. Right?

Landon entered the room not wasting any time.

"Is he gone?" I asked him.

"Yes he is gone. By tomorrow our car is coming in. Dad ordered for a new car for us to use here." he announced.

"That is so nice of him. Actually Landon I think we will have to go for shopping. I hope you know your way around here and you know the way to the shopping mall. I need to change some things to my taste in this house. I need to buy things like a new curtains, a bedsheets, some toiletries, and some other important things." I said to him.

"Alright buttercup. Anything you want to do is fine with me. I have no problem with it. But we can't go right now. We have to eat first. I can't let you go anywhere with an empty stomach." The moment he said that, my stomach made a loud grumbling sound like it was agreeing to him. But really must it be so loud. I feel so embarrassed in front of Landon. But Landon didn't seems like he cared. He only chuckled and started pressing his phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked him looking confused.

"I am trying to order some burger and pizza for us." he answered.

"But that's not necessary Landon. I can cook something for us really quick. Besides I saw some foodstuffs in the drawers." I said to him.

"No buttercup. I refuse. I can't let you cook right now. Not after the long journey we just had. I'm sure you are very tired and you need rest. So no cooking. I'm ordering something so that we can fill our stomachs up before you can do whatever you want to do." "Fine I won't argue with you because I actually feel so hungry and tired to cook anything." I said to him making him to smile.

"I knew that already." he said.

We left my luggages and went to the living room. There was some nice couch and also a television there. But it needs flowers to freshen the room with a nice view and scent. I hope I won't forget to buy them when I'm going for shopping.

We sat down on a couch as we waited for our order.

"I must say I'm really surprised that you can order food here using your phone." I said to Landon.

"Of course it's possible here. And also it's much better. At least you don't have to move to the restaurant." he said.

We sat in the living talking about the changes we will make in the house when someone knocked the door. Landon stood up and went to check who it was. He stayed for a while which made me figure out that our food is here. I heard him close the door and he entered with a leather bag that was filled with boxes.

My mouth began to water. Finally food is here.
