LANDON

POV

"I asked a question yet no one is answering? Are you all ignoring me?" Parker asked looking at Hunter and I.

"Well if we didn't answer you, shouldn't you get the answer that we are actually ignoring you and we don't need you here?" Hunter said rolling his eyes.

"But why? What did I do to make you ignore me?" he asked looking so confused.

"Are you really asking us that question? How could you forget easily what you said?" Hunter asked.

"The same you opened your mouth and insulted Landon's wife only because you heard she's a human. Who will want to friends with someone like you who cares for nobody but himself? No one. Besides last I checked we aren't friends in the first place. You just decided to follow my own friend who is Justin to come see me. It's not like we had something together." Hunter added glaring at Parker.

"Are you really angry at me for trying to advice you on what I think is right for you? If it's because of that then fine I'm sorry for helping you out." Parker said sounding so annoyed.

"Listen Parker you really need to work on yourself. I don't know what you have learnt about mates and all but I think you shouldn't let those things destroy your life. You need your mate in your life. Before it is late try to change and go back to her." I said to him. "I don't need your damn advice after all am not your friend." he said before leaving angrily.

I looked at him and shaked my head. I know he is nothing but bad news but I just hope he changes. After all am sure a mate can change someone to be someone better. Just like how Mum changed Dad.

Thinking of them I need to call Mum. I missed her although it hasn't been long I saw her.

"Let's go to the dorm. I need to get my stuffs. And you coming to my house, I have to inform my mate first so we can prepare for your coming. I will want her to be free and okay with your coming first hope you understand?" I asked him.

"Of course am fine with it. I actually want to see your beautiful mate so badly but I guess I will just have to wait patiently for the time she's ready to see me." he said smiling.

"Thanks man." I said to him.

"Its fine. Although I'm envious of you. Thanks to your mate you can stay outside the school. You have your own freedom unlike us. You are one lucky man." he said with a smirk on his face.

"Well you are right. I'm actually a lucky man and it's my mate that makes me to be lucky. If not because of her nature I might be missing her by now. I need to be beside her so I can be sane and my wolf also." I told him.

"I wish to meet my mate very soon. I hate the fact that I'm nineteen years old and yet without a mate. I sometimes think that maybe she is dead or not born yet. Anytime I think about it I get scared for my life." Hunter said sounding worried.

I gave him a sad smile and patted his back.

"Am sure that the moon goddess won't do that to you. I'm very sure she has already prepared your mate. You only need to finish and train hard on how to be a great alpha. That's the only time she will come to you." I said to him. "You are totally right Landon. I have to focus on my duty as an Alpha. After that love can come next." he said looking so determined.

I smiled knowing fully well that he has now change his emotions from being sad to being determined. That's the Hunter I know and will miss.

We finally arrived our rooms. I began to pack everything that were important to me and kept them in my black bag. After I was done packing my things, I zipped my bag.

"You are done packing everything thing right?" Hunter asked me as he sat on his bed and watched me.

"Yes I'm done. I can't wait to go home. I'm worried that my mate will be waiting for me for long." I said to him.

"I can't believe I will stay alone for a while before I get a new roommate. I just hope the person who comes to occupy your space is someone I won't have any problem with just like how I didn't have a single problem with you." he said. "Don't worry I'm pretty sure you will be just fine." I said to him before picking my bag.

"I will take my leave right now. I will see you tomorrow in class. I will talk to my mate about you coming and tell you her response tomorrow." I said to him as I walked to the door.

"Say hi to her for me." he said.

"Will do just that." I replied before leaving.

I rushed home feeling so eager to see my buttercup.

I entered the house without knocking and searched around with my eyes but didn't see her in the sitting room and I didn't sense her in the kitchen either. But I could perceive a delicious aroma of food coming from the kitchen.

I walked to our bedroom and opened the door. I smiled when I saw her sitting on the bed with her back leaning on the headboard of the bed. She was so focused reading the book in her hands to notice the door open. If she had a wolf just like me, she could have sense my presence and my scent but since she is human she won't know not until she looks at my direction before she knows that I was around.

I walked into the room and closed the door behind me gently before walking to the bed.

I think she sighted my movement because before I got to the bed she raised her head to look at me. She began to smile when she saw me and she quickly closed her book and dropped it besides the bed. "Welcome back sweetie. I missed you." she said with her lovely voice. She opened her arms wide.

I dropped my bag on the ground and climbed the bed before I crawled into her arms hugging her waist as I laid my head on her chest. She gently played with my hair making me let out a deep sigh. Now this is what you call a home. I feel so relax being with her right now. All the stress I felt in school all disappeared like I didn't feel it earlier.

"How was school today?" she asked.

"School was so slow. I missed you so much Buttercup that I couldn't concentrate so well in school." I said to him.

"Don't get distracted in school. I'm here already so forget about everything and you should concentrate on your studies the more. I don't want you to fail at the end of it all." she said calmly. "I won't fail. Don't forget I'm naturally smart." I said.

"If you say so. Come on get changed and come to the living room and get something to eat. I'm worried because you didn't eat anything in the morning." she said.

I let go of her and did as she said although I wanted to stay with her like that but I was serious starving and I need to have a taste of the delicious food which aroma I can't get off my mind.

I went to the bathroom to first take a very quick shower so I could wash away all the sweat of earlier. I wore a light shorts and shirt before heading to the sitting room. The little dinning table that was right in front of the kitchen was filled with different varieties of food, fruits and juice.

"Buttercup did you make all this alone?" I asked her.

"Yes I did. Hope its not too small? If you want more food, you can just tell me so I will prepare more." she said smiling.

"Noo that's not why I'm asking. Actually buttercup this is much. I was just surprised you were able to do this alone without anyone helping you. I am going to be so full after eating all this food which you prepared so don't prepare anything else instead let's eat it together." I said to her.

We sat down and she passed an empty plate to me which I collected and used to dish out some food. I filled the plates with everything food on the table. I took a bite and the taste was just so heavenly.

"Buttercup your food is so delicious just as how nice the aroma is. Thank you so much." I said to her.

She smiled shyly and I could see she was blushing.

We both ate in a peaceful silence. Just as I told her earlier, I was the one who ate half and quarter of the food. At the end I finished eating everything on the table emptying all the plates.

"Geez thanks for the heavenly meal buttercup. I'm so full that I don't think I can stand up any time soon. I need to wait for my food to digest well." I said to her.

She smiled.

"You are welcome. As you are resting I will just go to the kitchen and wash the plates." she said standing up.

I stood up immediately forgetting that I wanted my food to digest earlier.

"Hold on buttercup, you cooked the food so because of that I will wash the plates." I said to her.

"Don't worry Landon I can do it myself. You just rest and let your food digest." she said.

"No way. You sit down and rest while I wash the plates and don't you argue with me." I said as I collected the plates she was holding before I packed the remaining plates. I went to the kitchen and began to wash them.

Yes I know if I was at home I will definitely not do this work but I'm right here with my mate. I can't just let her do everything. We are equals so for that I will help her with everything.

I finished washing the plates before joining her in the living room. I sat on the couch she was sitting on and placed her legs on my laps.

I then remembered I had something to tell her.

"Buttercup I need to talk to you about something."
