"Mum I'm fine here. I miss you all too. Hope Dad is doing fine and Luca, Grey and everyone are doing just fine? Don't worry Landon is indeed taking good care of me here." I replied her.

"Oh that's really good news. Everyone is fine. Luca and Grey just left the house. They went house hunting." she said sounding sad.

"They are moving out?" I asked. Here I thought Luca was going to stay in the house forever.

"Yes dear they are. Their reason was they need their own privacy and they can't be free when they are under desame roof with us. And considering the fact that they are both you know gay. They aren't so comfortable around people so they need their privacy." She said.

I on the other hand looked so lost not understanding what they both were talking about. And they are refusing to mention any word that could serve as a hint.

"Blame it on old age son. Now I get why she sounded like that back then." Mum said laughing.

"Who are you talking to that your laughing so loud?" I heard Dad said in the background.

"Chill honey it's just your son Landon." she answered him.

"Oh how is he doing and how's Mira? Is she there with him? I will like to talk to her." he said making me smile.

"Mira dear you are on speaker phone." Mum said.

"Hey Dad."

"Mira dear how are you? Hope you are fine? Hope you are adjusting well over there?" he asked.

"Yes dad I am. Hope you are fine?" I asked him.

"Of course am fine. It's good to hear from you." he said.

"Its good to hear from you also. Take care of yourself." I told him.

"I will do that dear. Bye for now. Excuse me you both I need to steal my mate from you both." he said.

"You are free to do that." I said smiling. I missed watching them act like teens in love.

We said our byes before we hanged up.

"Can you tell me what was that your mother was talking about earlier?" I asked Landon. I badly wanted to know because I hate being in the dark.

"You really didn't understand what she meant earlier?" he asked looking surprised.

"Of course yes. I mean I won't ask you if I didn't know. So tell me already please." I begged giving him a pout face.

"I don't think I can say no to you this girl. You just had to look cute just now." he said smiling.

"Well I know how to play my cards well. Now tell me." I said to him becoming so impatient.

"Fine she was actually talking about the next stage that's mating and marking process." he said.

I felt the color on my face disappear. I choked on my saliva and began coughing so hard that Landon had to move closer to me and pat my back. When he saw it wasn't stopping, he rushed to the kitchen and returned with a glass of water. I took it from him and gulped it so fast.

I began to breath to calm down from the shock I just had. When I was calm, Landon looked at me for some seconds and began to laugh.

"Why are you laughing? What's funny?" I asked him wondering why he was laughing so hard.

"Buttercup you are what is funny. You need to see your face earlier when I told you the meaning. I know I shouldn't be laughing but I can't help it." he said holding his stomach.

"I honestly didn't expecting that as an answer. I thought it was something so different." I tried to explain myself.

"I was actually wondering why you were so calm when she said it while I was struggling myself. I thought you didn't mind at all. I didn't think you didn't get her. Now it makes sense." he said smiling.

"I feel like an idiot right now." I said looking down.

"No buttercup don't say that. You are not an idiot. You just didn't know because you are so innocent so don't worry about a thing. Besides Mum didn't mean it. She was just pulling our legs to get a reaction from us. We all know you aren't ready yet." he said. "But how will you know if I'm ready or not? What if I take so long? You might leave me for that." I said feeling sad.

"That's not true buttercup. I will never leave you. And besides I will know that you are ready. It comes naturally. And I'm sure you won't take long because we are together now and I'm very sure our mate bond is growing stronger and stronger every day. So that won't be a problem. Infact you shouldn't think too much about it." he said before kissing my forehead.

I smiled and wrapped my hands around his waist. I'm glad to have a very understanding mate. I'm sure not all male wolves out there are like him. He has showed me how much he respect me and how he doesn't want to pressure me.

I just hope I get ready quickly because I don't want to keep him waiting and I also don't want to wait myself. I want to experience what it feels like to be a woman.
