Chapter 23

ROSIE POV

"You guys this indeed calls for a celebration. Maria is now a member of our pack and we have to celebrate it. Or what do you say?" Angel said smiling.

"I totally agree with you." Smith said immediately.

"No you guys you don't need to do that please." Maria said smiling shyly.

"Nonsense we definitely must celebrate about this. At least the major storm which we were scared of is gone so we must seriously celebrate this. Smith you know the location right?" Angel said smiling at him.

"Yup sure do." he said as he threw a salute to her.

We all entered the car and this time it was Smith that drove.I think now his feeling so refreshed that he can finally be at peace since what he feared for didn't happen. His mate is not going anywhere. She was going to be with him.

I noticed that the road that they followed was so familiar. It was then we arrived a very familiar restaurant that I knew so well.

Mr Drew's restaurant.

Well I think this was sure smith's favorite restaurant.

We came down from the car and walked inside the restaurant. Mr Drew was surprised to see me together with them. He signed me to come see to have a word with him.

I excused myself from the rest before I went to where he stood.

"Rosie can you give me a clear explanation why you are with them? I thought they were the same people who bullied you in the restaurant earlier?" he asked.

I understood why he was asking questions. He just cared about my welfare and wanted to protect me.

"Mr Drew calm down will you. You have nothing to worry about. They are now my friends and besides that day they weren't the ones who bullied me it was the alpha's son and his female friend. Those two are not my friends. And trust me, this guy's are very nice and welcoming." I said to him.

"Are you sure you're going to be fine?" he asked.

"Yes I will be." I said to him smiling.

"Alright then go ahead and have fun with your friends. I will serve you soon." he said.

"Do you need anything help. I can help you with serving." I said to him.

"No Rosie you're not here for that. You are here to have fun with your friends and not to work so leave here right and go join them." he said.

I smiled at him before I went to join my friends.

"Hey what was he telling you? Hope he doesn't want you to work?" Nate asked.

"No not that. Well he was warning me against being friends with you guys because of what happened here the last time. So I assured him that you had nothing to with it. It was all that arrogant je......oh sorry pardon my tongue. I mean it was all the fault of our soon to be alpha." I said.

"Well that day was really something. I never expected that Evans could do such a thing." Smith said.

"Who is Evans?" Maria asked looking confused.

"It's alpha Bryan son, our soon to be alpha." Angel answered.

"Alright and what did he do to Rosie?" Maria asked again.

"Well he embarrassed her by pouring cake on her and saying some hurtful words to her." Angel answered her again.

"What? Why will he do such a thing?" Maria asked looking so angry.

"Well we also don't know why though but he hates Rosie so much that to me it's so bad to control it. "Angel said.

They were all talking like I wasn't right there's close to them listening to them.

"Oh you poor child. Soon he will change when he noticed your good character." Maria said as she placed her hands on mine.

Wow she sure knows how to calm someone.

Soon later food came. We had so many food to eat from. We ate as we talked, laughed and had a great time together. After we were done, it was time for me to go back home. Well I couldn't go home alone because Maria decided to follow me. She said she didn't want to stay with any one but me.

I couldn't say no to her so here we are, she was coming home with me.

When we entered the house, I feel at home.

"Wow your house is beautiful and big." she said as she kept looking around.

"Well it gets boring just staying at home alone. It can be depressing at times." I said to her.

"Well now you have me. You won't be alone anymore." she said smiling.

"But Maria you will one day go and stay with Smith leaving me alone again." I pointed out to her.

"Alright let's hope that you will replace your mate before I leave so you won't be lonely anymore." she said.

I just smiled at her but said nothing to her.

We went to arrange the guest room for her so she could stay there. It was serious work because the place hasn't been cleaned for years. After we were done arranging the room, the result was amazing. It looked so amazing and beautiful. "Now this is your room." I said to her.

Maria eyes began to get filled with water. I was scared maybe she was hurt somewhere.

"Maria what's wrong? Why are you almost crying? Are you hurt somewhere or what?" I asked her feeling so worried for her.

"I'm sorry it's just that's this is the first time in a long time that I got a room for myself. I felt like I haven't thanked you well for helping me out." she said.

"You don't have to thank me for anything Maria. We are now friends so we are just helping each other out. So don't see it like you are forcing yourself on me. I actually enjoy doing this to you." I said to her.

"Well enough of all this sentimental moment. Let's get something to eat. I'm starving so badly." I added.

I looked for some noddles so we could prepare and eat. I cooked the noddles and after I was done, we sat down to eat. We just finished eating and was lazily sitting down waiting for the food to digest when the door opened and Angel walked in. "Hey Angel did you forget something?" I asked her.

"Yes I did. And it's very important." she said.

"Alright and what could that be?" Maria asked her.

"Shopping for you of course." Angel said smiling.

"Shopping?" she asked confused.

"Yes Maria. You need clothes to wear and you can't keep borrowing Rosie clothes. You need to get your own also. so we are going to buy you some clothes." Angel explained.

"But I have no money for shopping." Maria said.

"You don't need to worry about that, I got it under control. Have you forgotten you have gotten yourself a rich mate who is the future beta? Here, he gave me his card and agrees I spend as much I want on your clothes." Angel said. "But isn't it too much?" Maria asked.

"Too much you say? Maria this is perfect. Your mate is to provide your every need. So don't think too much and just enjoy your self already" Angel said to her.

"Alright then. When are we going?" Maria asked.

"Right now of course." Angel said.

Together, we went to a shopping mall. Maria was nervous and excited at the same time.

When we arrived, Angel and I got to work as we began to select clothes that she can wear. We made her change into all as we picked. At the end, she was able to buy some clothes.

We also picked some dresses, some underwear for her. We made sure or will I say angel really used the card the way she wanted to. She made sure she bought everything Maria needed and what she didn't need also.

After we were done, we decided to look for a pizza store. We were extremely tired and hungry from the shopping. We all ate our food as we were enjoying Smith money.

On the way home, Maria insisted that we see Smith as she wanted to thank him.

We drove to Nate's house. Angel informed us that he hasn't gone to his house that's why he was still there.

We entered the house and we saw him and Nate enjoying a video game.

Nate was the first to notice us.

"Are you girls done?" he asked as he pause the game getting smith's attention.

"Yes we are just that Maria here wanted to see Smith."

Smith quickly jumped up and ran to Maria. But he made sure not to touch her.

"Hey I'm here. Is there something wrong? Are you okay?" he asked her looking so worried.

"Yes I'm fine. I heard you gave angel the card we used to pay for everything so I'm here to say a big thank to you for that." Maria said.

"Its not a big deal Maria. You are my mate and as my mate, it's my duty to take care of you and that includes providing all the important things. So your welcome okay but don't thank me for doing what is right okay." he said to her. Maria face was red when he was done talking. She nodded her head.

"Alright we will be going back so we could take care of all the bags inside the car." Angel said.

We left the boys and entered the car before Angel drove to my house. We packed all the bags inside and helped her to arrange her clothes in the cupboard. After we were done, we went to the sitting room to rest.

"One of this days, I will come over so we could have a sleepover. What do you think?" angel asked.

"Well it won't be a bad ok. It's good idea so that we can interact more with each other." I said.

"Alright you girls, I have to go home now. I need rest. Bye guys." Angel said.

We bid her farewell before we went to rest in our rooms.

I must say, it feels so warm now that I'm staying in my house with someone also. I love that feeling of being with someone you love.
