Chapter 254

MIRA

POV

After I had congratulated Justin and his mate who's name is Diana, I announced that I was leaving. Landon was looking so sleepy. He needed some rest. So we both need to go home.

"Can't you both stay for some more time?" Tina asked pouting.

"Am sorry but no we can't stay again. Landon is tired so we need to leave right now." I told her.

"I just remembered that he did sleep even for a minute last night. He does need rest. Thank you so much for everything Landon. I don't know if I would have won without you all. Really thank you for helping me to train. I don't know if I can ever thank you enough." Parker said to Landon.

I didn't wait to listen to the rest. I left them and went to get my stuffs in the room. I returned and said my final goodbye to them before landing and I left the house. Hunter followed us and drove us home.

After I had opened the door, we entered our home. I took in a deep breath taking in the homely feeling. I looked at Landon who was doing the same thing. I smiled and lead him our bedroom.

"Go shower first while I make the bed." I told him.

He went to bath then by the time he got back, I was done arranging the bed. He put on just a shorts exposing his sexy broad chest to me. Now this is one of the reason I missed him so much. But he mustn't know about this. "Are you hungry? Do you need me to prepare something for you?" I asked him.

"No buttercup, I'm not hungry. The only thing I need from you is to please lay on bed with me. I can't sleep without you beside me." he said.

"Alright I will join you soon. I just need to take my own bath. I haven't had any in Parker's house." I told him.

"Alright then. I will be waiting for you to return." he said as he took his phone.

I went to the bathroom to take my bath. After I was done, I changed into a bum short and light top.

I joined Landon and he was really waiting for me just as he has said.

I joined him on the bed and wrapped my arms around him. He dropped his phone and pulled my closer to him.

"I will ask you how your day went when you wake up. But right now sleep okay." I whispered to him.

"Alright I will." he said before he slowly closed his eyes. I rubbed his hair gently so he could sleep. It was when he started snoring softly that I was sure he was asleep. I smiled and watched him sleep like a cute baby. I kept watching him and didn't know when I fell asleep myself.

I woke up to kisses on my face.

"Landon what are you doing?" I asked sleepily.

"Sorry to wake you up buttercup but I feel so selfish right now. I woke up a while ago and became bored because you are sleeping and I wanted to see your beautiful eyes and also hear your sweet voice." he said.

I smiled at him. I knew I was supposed to be angry right now but I wasn't because he sounded like a little child who needed his mother's attention.

"Am awake now. What will you like to eat so I can prepare something quickly for you." I asked him.

"Toasted bread and coffee would be nice. It will wake me up fully. We actually slept for six whole hours." he said.

I opened my eyes in shock.

"Six hours? It's already afternoon. Wow we really slept for long. It's a good thing you woke me up. Are you sure I shouldn't just prepare some food for us to eat? I felt toasted bread and coffee is too light to have for lunch. We need something a bit heavier." I said to him.

"How does noddles sound? Noddles cooks faster and it's less stressful, don't you think? The thing is I don't want you to stress yourself in cooking. I want you to rest and just be with me." he said.

"But I'm not complaining." I said to him.

"Well I am. I want to just hold you in my arms and make up for the long hours I have to spend without you in my arms and also seeing you." he said.

"You are such a baby. Alright fine. I will make us some noddles." I said standing up from the bed.

He also started standing up from the bed.

"What is wrong?" I asked him wondering.

"Nothing. I'm only going to accompany you to the kitchen and watch you cook. I can also be of help in terms of chopping some things for you." he said.

I couldn't tell him to stay out of it not like he would even listen to me so I allowed him join me.

He helped me in the choppings as he had said while I cooked. We finished and sat down to eat our noodles which was in a single plate. Landon didn't want to eat in a separate plate. According to him it will distance us from each other also we need to be very close together.

I had no other choice but to agree with him. Eating together in a single plate isn't a bad think to do. As he has said it can also bring us together the more.

We ate and I must say it was really nice eating together with him. I just hope we continue like this for a very long time.

After we had finished eating, Landon washed the plates and ordered, yes he literally ordered me to sit down while he wash the plate and the pot which I cooked with.

After he was done and he dried the plate, we went back to our bedroom and laid down cuddling each other.

"So tell me how did the trip go and all?" I asked him.

"It wasn't too long like going to our pack and the people there are nice. Well they became nice when Parker won the challenge." he said rolling his eyes.

"How do you mean? What happened?" I asked smiling.

"They fed us with so much food that I had to rush to the toilet after eating. It was so much and the treatment was a bit too much. They kept following us around. We had to escape and hide in a bar where we celebrated Parker for the big win. It was a good thing we went there because that was were Justin found his mate." he said.

"She went there to party? She didn't seems to me as the wild and social type." I said acting so surprised at the news.

"No she didn't go there to party or have fun. She is actually a waitress there. So she was on duty yesterday."

"Ohh I see. But how did Justin react when he saw her? I want to hear all of it." I looked at him smiling.

"Well when we got there, we looked for a reserved and quiet spot which was far from the music and people who were there to have fun. We ordered for drinks to come. That was when she came in with our drinks. The moment she entered, Justin quickly stood up and rushed to her. He took us by surprise because we thought he felt something bad about her but when he called her his mate and she also answered, we relaxed. They went out leaving just Hunter, Parker and I. We don't know what happened outside but when Justin came back, he seemed so happy. He announced to us that he will be going with her. So that's why she's with us. He will go to his pack with her to introduce her to his people and his family." Landon said.

"Awwn that's so sweet of Justin. I'm so happy for him. Now it's just one of your friend who is left. Hunter needs to replace his mate fast before he grows old." I said to him.

"Am sure he will replace his own mate soon." he replied.

"But what did Parker father look like? I'm trying to picture his looks in my head but it's hard. I'm sure he looks so scary right?" I asked him out of curiosity.

"Well the truth is he does look scary. Since I saw him from the beginning of the match to the end, he never for once smile. He is also strong buttercup. He beat Parker so well and injured him badly but his healed now because his a werewolf and also the blood of an alpha runs through his veins that why he healed fast. It was a good thing his wolf took over and beat his dad's ass or else it would been a different story. Although Parker wasn't ready to give up. Although he was weak and loosing blood, he still continued fighting his father. It's just so sad that the man died after everything. It would have been sweeter if he stayed alive and watched how well Parker would take care of the pack better than he did. It was so obvious that no one liked him as their alpha but they loved Parker so much which was like an easy thing for him. It was indeed something but I really hope non of my friends go to that ever again." he said.

"I hope so too. Well so when are we going home?" I asked him.

"Are you in a hurry to leave here?" he asked.

"No am not in a hurry to leave. I'm just asking that's all." I said.

"Well we will leave soon but first we need to go somewhere as planned. We will have a lot of alone time without anyone stressing us. We will have so much fun that's a fact." Landon said with a smirk on his face making me realize the second meaning of his words. I picked up my pillow and threw it at him. He tried to avoid it but I hit him harder. After some time, he picked his own and began to hit me too.

We had a pillow fight that was filled with joy and laughter.

So perfect.
